First things first. Don't do it. Book somewhere else. I hate to do bad reviews for anyone in the hair, skin, nails, beauty industry because I am also in it. And its a real hustle to be in. Upon entering I wasn't greeted. There was a girl sitting just on her phone. I said "hey" and she said "oh you can have a seat, Lexy should be in soon." And thats it. Lexy comes in rushing. She is also late. I booked my appointment 10:55am and it was pushed back 11:10am. Because she was late. I was also notified at 10:33am for her running late. I was already in the area. Because if you read their cancellation and late policy they can be VERY STRICT about it. Which I found funny because my first time booking. THEY ARE LATE. I was a little disappointed because I started work at 1:30pm. Pushing it back even 20mins I know I would be in a time crunch. But whatever... I didn't wanna cancel because THEY were late and be charged 100% for a service. Which is also one of their policies. This is one of their other policies.... -GRACE PERIOD IS 9 MINUTES, AT 10 MINUTES THERE IS A $10 LATE FEE, AFTER 15 MIN IT WILL RESULT IN THE FORFEITURE OF THE ENTIRE APPOINTMENT AND WILL BE CHARGED 100% OF THE SERVICE BOOKED. YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME. Lol. Anyway, for what I paid $200 something for lashes. Volume lashes that was half filled not to mention half bald. NOT WORTH IT. My whole appointment was quiet. Lexy didn't say one word to me. Except for how long. And I told her long. And that was the last time I ever heard her talk to me until she was done. I finished about 1:40pm ish. After my appointment I went straight to work, I was running late. And I had a few comments on how "natural" my lashes was. THEY ARE VOLUME I PAID $200 something for VOLUME!!! I called and went back the next day for a mini fill because those lashes were not volume nor were they filled. I left with not much of a difference. Laid there for another 3 hours for my lashes to NOT look full. I couldn't believe how bald they still were. My natural lashes on our outer eye and inner eye weren't filled. They went thicker on the lashes which made a slight difference but still not that much. My wispy strip lashes that I buy for $5 have more volume than the $200 volume lash extensions I paid them for here. I wish I loved it here because of the convenience of the location, price wasn't an issue. Quality was just not worth the price! read more

I found this little gem awhile back when I was in need of a new lash artist. Celine has been my go-to person for getting volume lashes done, and I love her! I always look forward to seeing her! She pays attention to my concerns, and always makes me feel welcomed at every visit. As a makeup artist, I always worry about my lashes falling out so quickly, but thanks to Celine, they hold for 3 weeks at a time without them looking crazy! Booking online for appointments have been so easy, I have never had an issue, which most people can appreciate. If you know exactly what you want, the staff is more than welcome to help achieve that! As you can see she did a terrible job waxing that I had to go into the doctor because of how ripped and inflamed my skin is. I had no reaction to the wax, but Celine did a terrible job waxing. I called for a refund and was rejected because they just don't do refunds. Their policy says they can correct problems, but this is not fixable. She even knew that the waxing was bad that she had to stop and pluck my brows instead. I don't understand how she's gonna charge me when she knows she did a bad job. Terrible. Also the tint didn't even work and the lamination looks messy. The girl who did my lashes was awful she scrubbed my eye because I had a little left over glitter from residual makeup, I felt like she was angry about this because the way she scrubbed my eye was not gentile at all the next day the skin around my eye was all raw and inflamed. She asked me several times how I wanted my lashes and then did the opposite of what I wanted, it looked awful and then her and her manager did nothing to see that I left there happy!!! read more

What an amazing place. I had an appointment for arm waxing with their waxing resident expert, Marvin. He is awesome, I highly recommend. He made me feel comfortable right away, and it was evident that he was really god at his trade. He was super gentle and my wax did not hurt at all. I loved how he would put pressure on the part of the skin that he has just waxed in order to minimize discomfort. I also met Celine who is the wonderful owner of this full service spa. Her forte are lashes, as evident from their beautiful Instagram page. I also met another awesome member of the Luxe Aesthetics team, Zel. She was super nice too. I'm very upset with the way I was treated at this establishment. I was a very loyal customer with Celine and loved the work she would do for me. But unfortunately that has changed when she still charged me after I was stuck in bad traffic coming from kapolei. I made an appointment to do eyelash extensions on 9/25/19, before going on a trip the following day. This was my very first time doing eyelash extensions so I was very excited. The girl who did my extensions was very nice and so sweet, unfortunately I forgot her name. After the appointment, my eyelashes looked wonderful and so full and I left very happy. She instructed me to prevent the eyelashes from getting wet for at least 24 hours and she also gave me a little brush that looks like a mascara wand to "brush after every time it gets wet." Since this was my first time, I made sure to follow her directions to a T. After the first 2 days, almost all of the extensions came out. I know that it's normal for it to come out when your eyelash falls out but every single one I checked was just the eyelash extension itself, no roots attached. All of my real lashes were still in tact. I came back from my trip yesterday, 10/4/19 (9 days after getting them done) and decided to call Luxe to see if I might have done something wrong or if they'd be able to fix it. The person I spoke to said that I should be cleaning the lashes twice a day with their lash shampoo, which I was totally unaware of as this was my first time ever, and they will to touch ups within 3 days or having them done. I explained that the girl didn't tell me that or I would have done it. I also explained that I was on a trip and there was no way I could have come in. She proceeded to inform me there's nothing they can do and will not fix them, I'd have to pay for a refill. I'm pretty disappointed with the outcome as well as their inability to accommodate me considering the circumstances. Not to mention their lack of accountability since I wasn't given the proper care instructions. I feel completely taken advantage of as a new customer who has been working in the customer service industry for my entire life. The fact that this is a brand new business tells me they don't care about word of mouth or the satisfaction of their customers. I take pride in providing great customer service so this was totally unacceptable to me, especially when I was not given the proper care instructions. I would be much more understanding if I was told and did not follow instructions. I'm extremely disappointed and will not be returning. Nor do I recommend anyone to go to Luxe Esthetics since they were totally in accommodating. The person I spoke to sounded as if they really didn't care that I had a bad experience or that I was unhappy with the outcome. She did not bother to apologize for anything either. I made an appointment here after seeing that the reviews were good and the pictures looked decent. I've been getting lash extensions since 2011, with fills every two weeks so I know what good quality work looks like. During the lashing process I felt a lot of tugging and pulling. I felt a little uneasy but trusted that the finished product would be good. When I opened my eyes, it hurt because there was too much glue too close to the lash line. It was so painful just to blink. I had to ask to remove the chunky lashes. Destiny, the lash tech, is super sweet but perhaps inexperienced. The owner Celine said she still has to charge me. I said okay, thinking she would charge me for half, since service was not rendered. At the end she charged me for full price and and did not budge. It became a yelling match. It was so unprofessional. They do not care about customer service. If you care about your health, don't come here. You may get an eye infection. I will be disputing my charges. I should not have to pay for services not rendered. I wanted to maybe compromise and maybe pay for half, so $80, even though the lashes had to be taken off because the glue was thick and on my skin. I scheduled every two weeks and if you don't know a full session is 2 hours but she wouldn't even spend the two hours on me . So I heard good things about this salon from my friend and I've suffered from really bad acne scars for years, so I decided to take advantage of their new opening promotion for microneedling and I'm so glad I did! First of all, Celine is really nice, skilled, and really helpful. She explained everything to me in detail from costs, what I could expect after my first session, to other options that they offer that could help my skin without being pushy at all, and you can tell she's really just trying to help you look your best (she even told me to wait till a certain promotion comes up so that I wasn't paying more). She checked in with me throughout the session to make sure it wasn't painful at all, and offered more numbing cream if at any point I wasn't comfortable. My skin barely turned red, it wasn't painful at all, and in a week, my scars were A LOT less noticeable and the only regret I have is not starting this sooner! Honestly nothing has been as effective as this despite all the money I've spent on my skin all these years. Parking is free, convenient, and easy (it's at the kamehameha shopping center), and I cant wait till my next session with her since my skin already looks so much better after the first session.
