My car was damaged during the tow I had and the tow truck driver and owner lied to my insurance company stating that my car was already damaged prior to their tow which is a lie! I would never use them! They were referred through my insurance company. Horrible service and I tried reaching out to the owner and he was never available. It's 10:49PM!!!! I was told my truck was dispatched at 6:02PM! My car is STILL disabled & has not been removed from the location I called from. I've had this service since 2012 & NEVER in my life have I ever encountered such sloppy unprofessionalism! I had to call repeatedly to find out the ETA of the tow truck & the time kept getting extended 30 mins, over & over & over. I was basically left out in the streets until well after sundown in a very unsafe area! The flatbed shows up after 4 hrs then the driver realizes he cannot get into the garage because the clearance is too low & the person who initially took the call left that part out of the notes. NOW I'm back at square one, waiting for them to resolve the problem, which apparently could not be done on the call. I have to continue waiting for someone else to get my car out. This has interfered with my plans today! Because I had to wait so long, there is now no way to get my car repaired tonight, so I'm unable to work tomorrow. This is not the way you treat a long term, valued customer. This is THE WORST service I have ever gotten in my entire life. Don't ask if there is any possible way to resolve this issue or make things better because there isn't. I won't feel better when I call down tomorrow. I'm still going to have the same opinion next week & next month! YOU SUCK! read more

If I had the option to give no stars or negative stars I would. My car stalled on the Chicago Sky Bridge. There is no disabled vehicle lane so I was stuck on the far right lane. I had kids in the car so was super nervous as cars and trucks were wizzing by. I called my insurance company roadside and they assigned me to lanes. The woman who answered the call after I waited about 30min literally yelled at me, hung up on me four different times when all I was trying to do was tell her the skyway towing moved me to a safer location off the highway. When I saw the company literally had 1.5 stars I wasn't surprised. This company is the worst, awful, rude incompetent and inconsiderate staff. The woman who answered the phone and who continued to yell at me told me the driver was going to call me. They never did. I ended up having to ask my insurance company roadside assistance to please send some else. They did and I was able to be safely towed home despite a stressful situation by a company whose staff was very helpful, kind, and considerate. I definitely will be filing a complaint with my insurance company's road side. read more

My car was at Lang's towing company on 6727 S. State Street. I needed my car to be towed to the Nissan Dealership in Oaklawn. I call my roadside assist at 3:15pm and they gave Lang's towing, my car was already at Lang's towing yard my car did not get to the dealership until 7pm. When I pick my car up from the dealership the bumper of my car was crack and hanging. Lucky the dealership took picture of my car before they started the work. I called Lang's the next day to speak to he manager and the lady who answers the phone was very rude and ignorant, she barely let me get a word in. She stated that we needed to email the picture over to them so the could look at the picture. I sent the picture over to them and I haven't heard from them. This is a horrible towing company. This towing services was provided via Kia Roadside. After waiting for a tow for 6 hours Lang's finally arrived around 8:30pm. I received call from Lang's around 9:30pm stating they were unable to get my vehicle on to the dealership property and they'd like to take my vehicle back to their tow yard and store it overnight. I declined this option and informed them to leave my vehicle at the dealership. The next morning I received a call from the dealership that they could not locate my vehicle. I followed up with Lang's after the dealership checked for my vehicle twice and they insisted my vehicle had been delivered to the dealership. Growing frustrated I called Lang's again to find out where my vehicle was and I was hung up on. I contacted Kia Roadside again and received information that the Tow driver never picked up my vehicle in the first place. My vehicle was originally to be picked up from a gas station and when I called I was informed my vehicle wasn't there either. Finally I go to Lang's tow yard location and reiterate the situation again. Lang's then takes it upon themselves to accuse the dealership of not looking for my car and threatens police involvement. Then Lang's reveals my vehicle is actually at their tow yard. We go and look and my vehicle isn't there so they switch back to the idea that my car was delivered to the dealership. Then I'm told the tow driver is going to dealership to and look for my vehicle himself. At this point I was ready to call the police because no one knew where my vehicle was and the tow driver failed to submit photo as proof the car was delivered to the actual address. Finally its revealed the tow driver had taken my car to Honda instead of Kia dealership. This was most extreme case of incompetence I've ever encountered and I wasn't even given an apology. Please be careful using this service as I firmly believe this was purposeful and if my request wasn't through Kia Roadside I am sure my vehicle would've been stolen. read more

Thanks Giving Nightmare At&t Roadside assistance sent me somehow pinged my location told me the flatbed tow would get to my spot in 30 min .. 45 min waiting I decide to call the number att sent me in a txt for Lang's towing service, Well the receptionist tried multiple times until finally she connected 3way with truck driver who seemed to not understand where between Harlem and central ave north I-55 was but he hanged up even though he said he was on Ogden and Harlem. Well 3hrs waiting I call multiple times she keeps saying he can't find u he passed multiple times and can't see u on the side of this expressway, she calls him 3way again, tells him again going north on I-55 between Harlem and central ave almost closer to central ave exit and he says this is bullshit and hangs up.. I call back and the lady told me to look for another provider and to have my roadside assistant (att) send someone new. I am writing this review on Thanks Giving Day been here since 1 and is 4:20 and I'm waiting for the new tow company which will take 45-1hr ... And that just because I called one last time to these jokers and had the att listen on my daughters phone how the receptionist told me that my roadside assistance should handle this because they couldn't find me and would not provide service to me. read more

at&t had them dispatch a driver out to fix a flat tire & time quoted was 30-45 minutes. A hour later I call to see where he's at & find out he's now working on a hwy accident & will be another 20-30 minutes. A hour later i call at&t back to ask for another service & when she calls he's supposed to be almost there if not already & I'm asked to give them another 5 minutes. 10 minutes later the guy finally shows up & literally doesn't say a word to me until he asks for his money. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER. This is the most incompetent company I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I waited with my car for over an hour and kept being told they "were a couple minutes away". I encountered a series of misfortunes that included the initial problem of my vehicle breaking down on the Dan Ryan, on the shoulder of the express lanes near the 35th St. exit, a dead cell phone battery, and temps that dipped to - 5 below (wind chill) that I had to walk in part of the way to get home. Without going into every detail, let me confess that the worst news was finding out that Lang's towing had charged me $350.00 to (under state police direction) tow my car from near the 35th St. exit back to 67th & State St. (probably no more then 10 or 11 miles). The state police was nice enough to get me out of my freezing cold car and to the Red line at 11 pm but the aforementioned events prevented me from getting to my home in the south suburbs until after 2am. I thought, warm up, get a few hours of sleep, try again with your towing company in the morning. Shift change must have occurred because this same police dept. that attempted to get IDOT to tow me off the express, then later transported me to the Cermak CTA station (IDOT said my because my vehicle is AWD Cadillac they can't tow me off express) they reported my car as abandoned (per Lang's towing) at 6 am. Horrible? yes! but $350.00??????? That should be illegal. Is there any regulation governing towing costs? That's simply ridiculous. I won't even get into the conversation about the rudest Dispatcher in the City of Chicago who was yelling at me at the top of her lungs over the phone when I called Lang's towing to find out the cost of the tow. Terrible service. Called for a tow through my insurance co. Lang Towing is who they contracted. Initially was told an hour and a half for the tow. After the hour and a half passed and still no tow, I called for an update. Was told because of the rain, it would be another 30 minutes. Well, the rain cleared up (it's not like it was a torrential downpour or anything) and we called back. Was given the same story about another 30 minutes. Well 3 hours later and I'm still waiting on the tow. UNBELIEVABLE! Hope to never be in a position to use their services again. I also plan to contact my insurance provider because Lang's Towing should not be an approved vendor of theirs. read more

I have a 2014 chevrolet Impala that Is in my name and I'm paying a monthly car note on that I am unable to retrieve due to a car crash the other car still is in good shape and perfectly fine. I had a donut on my car and the donut caught a flat tire. So i was unable to drive it but still my car was drive able if i had changed the tire. The fucking state police had my car towed to this high ass towing company I am a college student full time there is no way I'm able to come up with these tons of dollars. I just payed for my school fees and books. there's no way i have thousands of dollars to get my vehicle they are asking for way too much when i first spoke with them they said $364 for towing then storage wtf i have awhole backyard and garage if i wanted to store my vehicle.Remember i never asked for there service. This company was dispatched to me through my insurance and I was told I would be waiting about 45 min to an hour to get someone to come put the spare on. It was 7:30am and about 12 degrees outside. After an hour, I called the company and they said it would be another 45 minutes. I was annoyed but understand that Chicago rush hour can be horrible. at 9:30am I called again, and I wanted an ETA and had to explain to the gentleman where I was and he said he would have someone right over...but I thought they were already on their way!!!! 10:30 AM rolls around and I call AGAIN! The woman on the phone was annoyed with me and called the driver and he said he was not far. 11-FREAKING-30am and STILL no word from the driver, I call back and the woman tells me hes on his way and hangs up on me! Finally at NOON the man shows up. He was very nice and it took about 30 seconds to get my car fixed up. However, I have frostbite on my toes and fingers because I kept being told they were coming and didn't want to leave my car! No apology from anyone. I do not recommend this company, and if your insurance dispatches them to you I would request an alternative company. read more

DO NOT EVER USE THEM AND HAVE YOUR VEHICLE STORED HERE!!!! My vehicle was an insurance tow and remained here until the adjuster came to give estimate, to tow it home would have cost an out of pocket fee of $150. Then I find that they have dented the door of my vehicle on their lot, now no one wants to talk to me about the damage. They want to blame some one else but it is clear the damage happened on their lot with photos to back it up. Run from this company! read more
