We rushed our pup to the vet and BEGGED THEM to please see her or at least tell us how to induce vomiting so she could have a chance to make it to ER in Bakersfield. They FLAT OUT REFUSED TO HELP I. Any way!! NOT EVEN advice! Miraculously we JUST MAKE IT to ER where they performed life saving procedures and my puppy survived, Second time was a couple of weeks ago. It was a weekend and my son was dog sitting my 2 lb chihuahua when my dog began to choke. Despite everything my son tried, the dog continued to choke on something. I asked him to jump in his car and head to vet in kerville; however, they were closed. So be B-lined it to Isabella while I called ahead of time to inform them he was on his way. The disrespectful receptionist told me they couldn't see my dog. I BEGGED HER and she said there wasn't a vet and the techs were getting ready to walk out the door the for day. MIND YOU, it was 3pm and the vets office didn't close until 4pm. I again begged her to PLEASE ask a texh/vet assistant to wait. My son was 5 minutes away. She told me to take him to ER in Bakersfield. I told her the canyon was closed due to an overturned rig. She coldly told me it was too bad and that she couldn't ask the techs to wait. EVEN THOUGH IT WASNT CLOSING TIME!!! My son arrived at that moment and she just ran to the door and refused to even let him in!!! Meanwhile, I friend was researching things we can do to help my dog, and they gave us instructions and the dog stopped choking. I HATE HATE HATE this office. They DO NOT CARE AT ALL! They cannot even be kind to a pet owner who is trying her best to help her pet. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS POOR EXCUSE FOR A VET OFFICE ANY BUSINESS. I had the misfortune to have both incidents when Dr Vicky in Kernville was closed. BUT SHE AND HER STAFF DO CARE! She's a lovely doctor and her staff is equally kind. I called around 8:30 a.m. this morning to establish care for my two French Bulldogs and was told that they were accepting new patients but it would be a month out. The receptionist began collecting my information to create patient charts, discussed scheduling appointments for June, and was in the process of preparing the required $40 per pet appointment hold fee when the call was disconnected. When I called back later, a different receptionist informed me that the clinic was not accepting new patients and that I would not be able to establish care there. When I explained that another staff member had literally begun the intake process and was preparing to collect payment for appointments, I was simply told, "I don't know, but we're not taking new patients." The complete lack of communication and consistency was incredibly frustrating. Based on the glowing reviews, I expected a much more professional and organized experience. While I cannot speak to the quality of the veterinary care itself, the customer service and handling of front-office communication left a very poor first impression.

I couldn't afford it and was so scared I'd have to get her put to sleep. Then I called Bishop Veterinary Hospital and was able to get a walk in appointment the very next day! The staff was so helpful and communicated very well, and even the veterinarian himself communicated directly with me about Gumdrop's treatment plan. Gumdrop needed to be spayed anyway, so the vet did not require me to get Gumdrop any diagnostic tests. We decided to just have her spayed without any tests. I paid under $500 for an emergency spay, antibiotics, the walk-in fee, and the post surgery pain medication. I am so grateful to Bishop Veterinary Hospital and can't recommend them enough!

Second session we needed Jazz to sit on his bed during breakfast & dinner. While his owner in a wheelchair enjoys his meals. Jay accomplished that in half the session. Third session was walking. Being able to keep Jazz on my side and from growling at other people or dogs. In one session Jay empowered me to lead Jazz. A big task for some of us women who struggle with being pack leaders. Jazz and I have been enjoying some lovely walks. Thank you Jay!!! Fourth session was calling Jazz in from backyard. Jazz did well with Jay. That is something I am sure I will master shortly! If not, I now have a dog expert to reach out to for help. Jazz was so excited to see Jay on a weekly basis. Jay was so loving and it made me realized I was not loving with Jazz. He is not my dog but my clients. However, I have started to love on him. This way he feels he belongs to someone and that he is loved. This poor dog came from the shelter during COVID. I have no idea what life he had before. However, now Jazz is living his best life ever thanks to Tails of Success. I have always felt professional dog trainer have. value. Instead of putting your dog and your family through the stresses of a veterinary office definitely give A Peaceful Process a call. You can schedule your appointment online and the will work with your schedule. This isn't the easiest review to make but when it comes to your family pets calm and restful passing, as well as your mindset going through losing wha most would say is a member of your family, this is the way to go about that.

The Dog Haus is the only grooming shop I fully trust, not just for my own pups, but for others as well. It's also the only shop I've ever walked into that actually smells clean! If you closed your eyes, you wouldn't even know dogs were being bathed there. The day before our appointment, they called to confirm. When I arrived with Natasha and Jasper, they took the time to explain exactly how their services worked and asked detailed questions about the haircuts I wanted. To my surprise, they finished quicker than expected, and both dogs came out looking absolutely gorgeous complete with a bandana and a flower. I can't recommend The Dog Haus enough.
