It's been one year since our baby died at the hands of Darlene and her staff:…read more This facility killed our baby, Sparky, on 8/13/15 and then tried to cover it up by saying "he went ballistic" and had a heart attack. The necropsy results confirmed that Sparky did NOT have a heart attack. Sparky had bruising around his airways and neck/throat. He also had blood/cuts behind his ears. I hope that every single person at this pet salon is haunted by their negligent actions and lies. Darlene, we'll be seeing you soon. You will NOT get away with this. Period.

Jessica did a great job and was very gentle with our 3 dogs, which can be quite a handful at times. We have had some bad experiences with groomers in the past and this was definitely not one of them. My wife was so impressed that she has already booked the dogs for next month. The service and care are top notch. Thank you Jessica the boys are very happy with their new haircuts. And so are we.

We checked out the kennel at the Feed Barn per the recommendation of a friend. Considering the few…read morechoices available in this area, the best I can say is that at least the poor dogs are out of the rain. It was the middle of the afternoon in February. The kennel was cold, dark - no lights on, and drafty - outside doors left open. Great for fresh air admittedly, but my elderly dog wouldn't cope well. They provide individual concrete runs where the dog eats, sleeps, pees and poops. The dogs are not walked, per the employee who gave us the tour, because they don't have a secure fence surrounding the property. I specifically asked if I left my dog there for a week if she would be confined in that run for the entire week without a walk, and the employee said yes, that's right. You may provide your own blanket if you want your dog to sleep on something other than the cold concrete floor according to the employee. They don't provide anything. They had smaller outside kennel runs, but those were used by their groomed dogs - this is also a grooming business - waiting for pickup according to the employee. I had no idea how spoiled I was by my city kennel. I paid $1 extra for a cot to raise my dog's bed off the cold, hard concrete floor. My dog was walked Outside everyday so that she could relieve herself away from her bed and her food. I also had the option to pay $1 for extra playtime everyday outside the run enclosure. Maybe this is the best they can do here, but I was just heartsick when I thought of leaving my elderly dog here. It will never happen. A week in a cage with no sunshine. A week of peeing on the floor of her house - she'd probably nearly pop her bladder first, waiting to be let out. If I have to drive to Bakersfield, so be it. Surely you don't have to live in the South to find a Happy place for your Sweeie Pie's vacation. Note to Entrepreneurs - Open a Bright, Clean, Caring Doggie Country Club here - Please!

When I dropped him off, I told her I wanted the dog to be one length all the way around, but instead she shaved his head and left his ears super long. She said, "I asked you if you wanted a Cocker head." I told her, "That means nothing me I'm not a pet groomer, can you fix it?" Then she said, "Well now you know for next time." I was treated as though I am incompetent and stupid. I would have paid twice what they wanted to have it done right and will be happy to go elsewhere, even to Bakersfield. My poor dog looks embarrassing! I will have to take him to another groomer to just have him look decent. I love supporting our local businesses but when they do terrible work, and then treat me as if its my fault it makes me angry. There was never an apology for any misunderstanding just a blank stare and a "well now you know for next time". As if I would actually give them my business ever again! Small businesses should take better care of their customers because as far as i am concerned this one will never see a another dollar from me.

The groomer had got rid of all my dogs hair trimmed it bare to the body. The groomer said, is this not what you wanted? I'm like no, I made sure to say I wanted a minimum trim to his length. We live in Ohio and it's the middle of winter. We were only visiting for the holiday. He's like oh, well it'll grow back. The groomer, offered me a free bath and wash to make up for HIS MISTAKE. He did what he WANTED not what he got PAID to do. I'm like, oh, fine I'll take a quick bath and groom not full service to make up for YOUR mistake. I was billed the full price for a service that was not well done. In addition his nails were still long and chipped. I have photos of the poor nail trim as well. When it came time for us to leave I let the groomer know and he asked if he could come by and I said yes. He never followed up and gas lighted me. Not only did he rip me off on the service he didn't even follow up with making up a mini service. It's been 6 weeks since service. we are back in Columbus and my poor puppy who loves the snow can't be outside for long because his hair hasn't grown back long enough for the snow we just had. I have to buy him winter clothes when he was nice and warm before we left for the holidays in the snow. I'd never recommend this mobile service. When we go back to Bakersfield I'll be going somewhere else.

Shauna arrived promptly on our scheduled date with her very professionally wrapped truck and trailer in tow. We met out front and I handed over my rambunctious Corgi, whom she greeted with excitement. There's no question, Shauna loves animals. I felt 100% comfortable with her taking care of my favorite family member. Shauna and I discussed what grooming options would best fit my dogs coat and our needs and she provided knowledgable feedback and recommendations. Shauna knocked on my door about 90 minutes later and presented me with a beautifully groomed and smiling pup. She charged a very reasonable price for such convenience. One of my cats wouldn't let me trim a certain nail so I knew something was wrong and a pro needed to be called in. From the moment I called this location they were very understanding and accommodating to get my kitty in. The following morning I arrived 15 minutes before opening and instead of just making the clients wait until 8 to be greeted the mobile groomer took her time to welcome and assure clients that we would be helped soon, and we were. Which really shows how attentive they are. Once the main workers arrived she quickly worked to check in clients and was clear with every time frame. You know sometimes you drop off a pet and they give the good "ol' we'll call you when they're ready?" Nope not here she gave specific time frames. My kitty was assessed within minutes. She then was able to trim the nail, educated me on what happened, and explained what to look out for. Truly an amazing location!
