KC Home Services - Co-owner Kevin Jr and his beautiful family

KC Home Services

KC has performed 2 plumbing jobs and 1 major HVAC job for us…read more They are the most professional and friendly company I have ever worked with. Every single technician is polished, polite, communicative and knowledgeable about everything they do. I will always call them for any issues. I strongly recommend them.

We hired KC for a substantial HVAC overhaul of our home, and what has impressed us most isn't just the quality of the installation. It's the people. Every single person we've dealt with has contributed to making what could have been a stressful, disruptive project into a genuinely wonderful experience. It started with Brandon, who patiently answered what must have been an absolutely ridiculous number of questions. What impressed me most wasn't simply his knowledge, but the way he listens. He takes the time to really understand what's being asked before responding thoughtfully and thoroughly. Never rushed, never dismissive. Morgan was equally terrific, following through on everything we discussed, coming up with creative solutions, and taking the time to explain the reasoning behind them. The office team deserves enormous recognition, too. Virginia has been incredible from the beginning. Our family's schedule is not an easy one to accommodate, yet she has been endlessly patient, flexible, and responsive. Every interaction leaves you feeling that she genuinely cares. Lia worked her financing magic to help make this project possible for our family, and Brittney's follow-ups and reminders have been so consistently timely and thorough that you could practically set a clock by them. There's a tremendous amount happening behind the scenes on a project like this, and these ladies make it all look effortless. Then came the installation crew. Mike, Gary, and Blake arrived right on time, introduced themselves with good eye contact and a quiet, confident professionalism that immediately put us at ease. Chris and Caden joined the project later and carried that same professionalism throughout. Mike, in particular, has a wonderful way of communicating. Calm, organized, clear in his explanations, and thoughtful about making sure everyone understands what's happening. He's exactly the kind of person you hope will be leading work in your home. The care these guys take is something else. They laid protective mats along their entire working pathway, were extraordinarily mindful of our belongings, and thoughtfully left the house in a condition that allowed our family to continue living around a major construction project. One of my favorite moments came when our eight-year-old son surveyed his Lego creations after the crew had been working nearby. "Wow! They didn't break any of my Legos. It looks like they were careful, caring, and... that word I can't remember how to say!" He meant conscientious. And I don't think he could have described these guys any better. It's the little things. Bringing our garbage bins up for us without being asked. Fixing a loose kitchen light fixture that had absolutely nothing to do with their job. Helping coordinate the drywall work needed for the installation so we didn't have to chase down yet another contractor. Nobody asked them to do these things. They just noticed and took care of them. Of course, a project this size inevitably comes with surprises. When it became clear that the original HVAC vent locations couldn't be reused, the team calmly walked through the options, explained the trade-offs, and worked out a solution that really prioritized the best possible result. No drama, no making us feel like we'd become a problem to solve. Just thoughtful people figuring out how to do things right. And as I look around the installation, I keep discovering more examples of just how much thought went into everything. The placement of equipment, the routing of lines, the way things were finished. Even the work that will eventually be hidden from view was done with remarkable care and neatness. Nobody would ever know if some of those details were a little sloppy. But the people doing the work would know. There's a real sense of pride in their craftsmanship, and it shows everywhere. That commitment was especially apparent on Saturday evening, when the crew was still hard at work at 6:30, determined to get everything finished and ready for us. They were even prepared to stay longer to walk me through the controls and setup. At that point, I encouraged them to call it a night and get home to their families. That kind of dedication doesn't go unnoticed. We've only been using the new system for a short time, but the results are already remarkable. The house warms up surprisingly quickly, and it happens almost silently. No big rush of air, no loud equipment announcing that it's working. The house just becomes comfortable. Even the energy consumption we've observed so far has been impressively low. It's wonderful to see that all the care put into designing and installing the system translates into such a noticeable difference in how our home feels. Another part of KC's value proposition that I really appreciate is their worry-free warranty.

When you have long hair? Shower/bath drain clogs are part of the deal. I don't make the rules…read more I had a mailer that had a special pricing offer for drain clearing and I remembered using this company in the past so I scheduled a service appointment to snake my drains full of long hair. Marianne was as friendly as she was helpful with scheduling my service and explaining their money saving annual membership plan. Devin arrived ready to clear my drains so we could resume showering like civilized people (when the drains are clogged and water pools it doesn't make anyone feel good). He explained the annual service membership and what it covers which we needed and the price was nice ($200) Now we can schedule inspections and service for our furnace, a/c, and hot water heaters hot we bought when we bought this house. I appreciate having professional, friendly, prompt service. Protect your investments in your home - get the service plan and have routine checks. I'd rather pay for maintenance than a repair/replace and suffer the inconvenience of needing emergency service and hoping you can find someone you trust. Peace of mind and a well running home are the simplest things you can enjoy. Thanks to Moore Home Service my husband and I can enjoy that. Fiver

The team at Ongaro made the entire process smooth and easy from initial visit through project completion. Jason listened to all my concerns and priorities, which were fully reflected in the proposal. They were not the least expensive, but by far the most thorough and detailed. And he found a rebate that the project qualified for! They handled the permits with the town, provided me with the details needed by our HOA. Great communication with every step. Quick to schedule. Completed on time and on budget. All work areas were kept very clean and tidy. And every person I interacted with was super nice and helpful. Highly recommend!! P.S. I agree with the other post (similar name, but not me) that the new AI answering service is really bad. I could not get past it a few times myself, but would HUCA to get a real person. I'd also email to get around it, which worked to get a quick answer or call back as well.

I especially appreciated mentioning filing a permit with the city- I hadn't even thought about that and not everyone who came to bid mentioned it! There is a good vibe with this company representative and my husband even agreed in his 1 minute passing. Definitely worth including them for your consideration. Don't want surprises and love a well thought out & important improvement location consideration. I didn't get a copy of the bid and have been stuck in an AI auto answer scenario. Can't get a human. Frustrated as this was who we preferred. So many companies are using AI - in answering questions and booking-without catching the ways it frustrates their customers will be the demise of some project bids. (2nd time for me with a company AI sending me in circles).
