Steve came as a plumber for my home warranty company. The first thing he did was to tell me how much more it was going to cost to replace my toilet over what the warranty company paid. I never have had this happen. Over 2 days and 4 phone calls the price went from $500 to $720 plus the cost of my toilet. I called the warranty company and they told me not to give him any money. I asked that he not come back. I bought a new toilet and had it installed for a total of $250 labor and $357 for the toilet. I would not let this guy in my house again. read more

We had a backed up shower drain and asked our friend if he knew any good plumbers. He recommended Steve to us. I called him and he came out right away within an hour to assess the situation. He spent time explaining the working of a plumbing system and how everything is connected and flows. He is a drain specialist so I learned a lot about plumbing I never knew. He found the issue right away and just like that, the problem was solved. He also took us around outside and explained where the water shut offs were and where the main sewer pipes go from the street to the house. He is a very nice guy and will educate so you know what to do if anything else comes up. I would highly recommend him. I had Steve out to my house because our kitchen sink had backed up pretty bad. He showed up with all the right tools and got to work. He had the drain cleared in no time. I had him back to replace a toilet and faucet in my master bathroom. He came on a Saturday morning and was prepared. He replaced all the valves, and supply hoses and even cleared my sink drain while was at it! Oh and gave me a follow up call just to make sure everything was working good a week later! I have to laugh at these reviews. 5 star across the board except from customers who were referred by home warrant company. This can't be the same Steve who came to my home. What seems to be a simple faucet problem turns out something not covered. "This" Steve made every effort to make sure the repair was not covered. Didn't look at it. Didn't touch the faucet. He didn't even have any tools. Came in, acknowledged the problem, and kept giving me suggestions of what I needed to do to fix it myself. When I questioned what he was here for he kept repeating that he needed authorization to do anything. Went out to his truck to pretend he was calling the warranty company and came back to say the company would be contacting me. To say SP is a 5 star company and Steve is the best is a joke. I have a home warranty, and they assigned SP Plumbing for a leaking shower drain. He came out twice, took pictures, collected my copay for the home warranty, and dissappeared. No calls for finishing the work, either from him or from the warranty company. After waiting a month, I called a reliable plumber and got my shower fixed. Also the payment I made did not show up on the warranty site, so I uploaded a copy of the payment. Do not make the mistake of using this plumber. read more
