Online sources indicated that the largest Sketcher selections in Northern Virginia were at Potomac Mills and Springfield Mall, but none mentioned that both stores were operated by Encore, which I discovered only after walking the malls. **Springfield Mall - Positive Experience** The Encore store at Springfield Mall was well managed and provided excellent customer service. A young salesman approached me promptly when I needed assistance. He was knowledgeable about sizing, accurate in measuring my foot, and helpful in evaluating the fit of different widths. He offered guidance without any sales pressure. Although the specific style I wanted was not in stock, the professionalism and competence of the staff made the visit worthwhile. **Potomac Mills - Disappointing Experience** My experience at the Encore store in Potomac Mills was very different. Three employees were on the sales floor, but none acknowledged me or offered assistance. They appeared to be engaged in personal conversation, though I cannot say for certain. When I approached them and asked for help, I was directed to a new employee who openly stated she did not know how to measure feet or advise on fit. I then asked the two employees at the register--there were no other customers in the store at the time--for assistance. One handed me a measuring device as if I should measure my own foot. When I explained that I needed a salesperson to help, she accompanied me but stated she was not good at measuring or fitting shoes. I asked if someone with more experience could assist, and we eventually worked through the process, but it was clear that the staff's primary skills were limited to taking money and operating the register. I also shared that I was accustomed to shoe stores where employees are trained to help customers determine proper fit. I did not sense much interest from the staff in learning or improving in this area. **Conclusion** Based on my experience, I would recommend the Encore store at Springfield Mall for anyone looking for Sketchers or other shoes, due to the knowledgeable and attentive service. I would not return to the Encore location at Potomac Mills, as the staff there did not demonstrate the training or customer‑service skills needed to assist with proper shoe fitting.

There's a Whole Foods or "Paycheck" here, and also some yoga and massage type of establishments. On a plus note love the Planet Fitness. It's one of the best in the chain. Also the Starbucks and Walgreens are convenient for the basics. The BGR burger restaurant really doesn't do anything for me, because there are so many competitors, and it just is rather bland and like the others. You may have some issues with traffic, as Old Keene Mill and Rolling Road can be cantankerous. Yet this shopping center serves a purpose, and I'll give it three stars, an average rating.

Instead of walking out with a suit we walked out with 2 blazers 4 pants 2 neck ties 4 dress shirts and a bunch of dress socks! Norma helped my grandsons and I to pick out there clothing. I had to do very little. Norma was wonderful she helped me turn one set of clothing into at least 6 different one. My grandsons are very tall for 14 and 13 years old she fitted them just by looking at them? I was amazed at her persiion in guess their sizes.When we left the store we left with bags and hangers of nice quality clothing. They do have the option of ordering a pair online for you, or you can go online yourself, IF the have available what you are looking for but you don't know if you are going to like them or how they fit and if you are looking to walk away with shoes in hand then you are SOL. Also, it is disappointing that DSW has changed their clearance section pricing to only 30% off instead of the former 20-60% range. I found several pairs of so called clearance prices "marked down" but they literally had the exact same shoes on the main floor with the normal price the same as the "clearance" price. Scam!

For those wanting more coverage, there are plenty of options for those styles too. Basically, when you are too mature for Victoria's Secret, Soma is a wonderful upgrade in quality and class. Soma's PJs are super comfortable and offered in an ever evolving variety of fun pints. If you want something for a different kind of fun, you can find something here for that too. Wink.
