I don't like to shop but love shopping at Von Maur. The staff is professional and super helpful and…read morefriendly. They gift wrap beautifully and will send packages for no charge. The merchandise is high end, name brand. They carry men's, women's and children's clothing and shoes and a small section of seasonal household decor. Yesterday, I bought several gifts. The store was decorated with a pianist playing Christmas music. I found exactly what wanted and an associate carefully took the information for wrapping and sending. I saw several other things I wanted, including Christmas outfits for my granddaughters. I left without buying, but later in the day decided my girls needed those outfits. I called the store and Deidreana found the outfits and put them on hold until I got back over there. The outfits were even on sale. Returns/exchanges are easy. They put gift receipts in each package. The store is always immaculate and has lovely restrooms. There is plenty of parking around the store, although parking fills during the holiday shopping season. I recommend and will probably go back this week myself.

I've watched over the years the steady decline of diverse inventory of department stores. This…read morestore is no different. I maybe go in Von Maur once a season, and it is even more noticeable at least to me, when you visit a store in longer intervals. They do have excellent eye-catching merch displays and still focused on upscale dressing and seemed like every section had a sales associate to help and areas were upkept. They are targeting heavily toward the older higher income demographics. It is especially telling when you listen to their choice of piano music in them. I would think a salesclerk would go a bit bonkers hearing taped renditions over and over of sickeningly sweet instrumental earworm inducing oldies all day long. I'm surprised this mall chain has lasted, as it hasn't really changed with the times. As times get ever more difficult with less to spend in this way, it will be interesting to see how this chain reacts.

It is way in a corner space in the mall. Depending on where you enter the mall, it can be easy to find, but any other entrance it is kinda hidden at one of the ends and around a corner. You are getting close when you see Sally Beauty and a Diamond store. It is the largest Akira space I have ever seen. Usually they are in small spaces and really difficult to browse in. I hope my sample pictures have you check out this fashion store. I'd always like to know of other similar fashion stores that have unexpected attention fashions in the US. *Pics to be continued if there is interest !

After climbing the stairs to the front porch, we entered into the shop. To the left of the shop is a row of dressing rooms for visitors to try on the women's clothing offered within the shop. To the right are several rows of clothing that extend to the back of the shop. To the immediate right of the doorway are accessories, party games, greeting cards, and other small gift items. Based upon my wife's opinion, the clothing seemed to be high quality but also came with a higher price tag than what she was used to paying. She found a gorgeous necklace almost immediately, but the nearly $400 price tag scared her off. The ladies working were welcoming and offered to help find something if needed. Review #3329

I was shopping for outfits for an upcoming vacation, so I spent some time browsing the women's and juniors' sections, dresses, clearance racks, shoes, and accessories. One thing I like about this store is that they carry a little bit of everything, from clothing and shoes to beauty products, handbags, and other accessories. The store isn't very large, but they manage to fit a lot inside. Sadly, I didn't find anything that caught my eye this time, so I ended up leaving empty handed. Even so, the service was good. I was greeted when I walked in, and the checkout line looked like it was moving quickly and wasn't very long. This location is in the strip next to Trader Joe's on the north side of Indianapolis and shares a parking lot with the surrounding businesses, making it easy to get in and out. While I didn't score any deals on this visit, I'd still stop by again because you never know what bargains you'll find. They rotate stock frequently.
