Is there any parking?

There is on street but parking is strictly enforced 7 days a week until 6 I believe. They also have a lot around the corner they own that you can park at if its not full, but make sure you get the parking tag validated or you will pay.

But as we came back on our own to visit over the years, it has become our favorite seafood menu in Woods Hole. For many years we used the family friendly, student friendly, fried food classic down the street, but no more. It's always Shuckers for us. We were in town all morning, shopping and eating at our traditional brunch place not far from the Ferry Dock, which is always crowded, but still wonderful. Before we went back to the Woods Hole Passage Inn for a rest, we stopped in to make a dinner reservation. We were pleasantly surprised when we learned it was the Twin Lobster Special night. This classic steamed lobster dinner was at a special price this night, the same price they normally serve the single lobster tray. When we arrived for our dinner, they sat us on the floating patio barge docked at the edge of the dining room. We had seen it on a windy night the last time we were in town. I had watched it sway and bob while people were eating and swore I would never take a seat there myself. But tonight, on a beautiful, calm evening just before sunset, we accepted the challenge, and I am glad we did. There were ducks paddling along the edge and a beautiful view of Eel Pond. We ordered the special. Two whole steamed lobsters, corn on the cob, mussels, and roasted potatoes. We also ordered a beer for my husband and a strawberry lemonade spritz for me. We asked for a second tray to split the food. I cannot imagine one person eating the whole meal but we saw other diners doing so. The servers were fun and efficient, and the diners around us were enjoying themselves too. By splitting the trays, we had room to do all the cracking and peeling. The lobster was so fresh and it was the best we had on this trip. And amazingly, we were full at the end, saving just a little room for dessert at the restaurant down the street where we had our dessert last time. Shuckers does not do desserts at all. But later when we went down the street, the restaurant we had planned was closed. Apparently, even in high season, they only serve 4-5 nights a week and our night was not one of them. At least, we saved on calories and we had more time left to walk around the pond and take pictures of the sunset.

Made reservations at noon For 6:30. Arrived at 6:00…read moreNo idea we were coming despite email confirmation Bartender couldn't follow directions. Our server was pleasant enough and the small restaurant was cute. Bar, hightop, booth and table seating are available. I ordered the fish and chips while my wife ordered the fish tacos with sweet potato fries. The fish tacos were very good but had too much cilantro but the taste was very fresh. My fish and chips was excellent. The fish was cooked perfectly, flaky and still glistening. The batter was crispy and was thicker than tempura but thinner than beer batter. The only issue was a fairly small portion size. My wife had the same amount of fish on her tacos. We did have dessert, which was unusual for us. My pecan pie was extremely well done and had a wonderful flavor. Only way to make it better would be to serve it cold, not room temperature...but that's just personal preference. My wife got the tapioca pudding, which was a little less successfully prepared. The texture wasn't bad, it was served cold but had to option to be heated and the serving size was good. It just didn'tdidnt have much flavor...tasted more like a custard, but it was even bland for that. Over all? Very positive experience and we will be back

We came in about 7;30 and every table was taken and every bar seat was taken. We had the poutine as an appetizer, it's really good, but not traditional. Still good.. Our friend and I ordered a drink, the bartender was definitely struggling to keep up with food, and orders . My husband ordered the same drink a Capri Sun, as our friend, but it had slowed down a bit by the time his drink order went in. This is important for later Our food came out.. my burger was spot on, but the waitress forgot the mayonnaise I asked for and we had discussed. My friend had the crab cake sandwich and my husband also had a burger with extras on board He had ordered the burger with bacon. There was no bacon. His bad for not flagging down the waitress and telling her, and then not telling her when the bill came and the bacon was an upcharge. Again his bad for not bringing it to anyones attention . Otherwise his burger was spot on, cooked the way he likes it. Now the drinks. The first mixed drink" Capri Sun" was really not very good. The second Capri Sun was delicious although I personally don't love sweet drinks. Not sure what was added or omitted to the first one but it really was bad. So I will definitely be back maybe just a draft if it's busy. I really think it's worth a try.
