Update 10.07.2023 Had a two-hour massage this afternoon and it was amazing! This place is great and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend. ---- I am a regular patron of Lan Foot Spa and have enjoyed every visit very much. With their extended hours into the evening on weekdays, it is easy for busy professionals to work in a relaxing massage after hours to de-stress. All of the massage therapists are licensed professionals and they take great care to treat your aching muscles. Highly recommend!

After researching on the various Reflexology Massages available in the general North Austin area, I settled on LAN Foot Spa. The following is a review of the facility and specifically on my favorite masseuse, JASON. 1.) Cleanliness - Facility is nice and clean and there is never a long wait (Though I always make an appointment ahead of time just in case). 2.) Pregnancy/Prenatal Relief - Being pregnant is not an issue, Jason will never have you flat on your back. He is very attentive to your posture and comfort (e.g. Back pillows for added elevation boost and laying you only on your sides with a hugging pillow + another pillow between your legs). - If anyone knows, a pregnant women begins to get the prized backache symptoms varyingly during her pregnancy. I started getting these aches at 32Weeks and the level of discomfort was enough for me to seek out prenatal massage. - The service has provided so much relief that I will be returning once a week to relieve the aches. Noticeably: little to zero back/neck/shoulder tension, easier to walk around, increased range of motion! 3.) Pricing - It's a steal! (see picture for more details). American Spas are good too, but usually set at a MUCH higher price point -- They tend to focus more on the overall "spa experience." 4.) Additional Comments - My husband also hurt his back and Jason also helped relieve the pain. He will likely be retuning once a month for "maintenance." - FYI, I waited until my 2nd visit before posting a review just in case the 1st experience was an outlier.

I've been getting massages for over 25 years. The last 13 years here in Austin. Thousands and…read morethousands of dollars spent on getting pain relief over the years. After utilizing several therapists here in the Austin area, I finally found the very best place to go. I can't handle booking a massage at a "fancy" expensive place anymore, only to gamble on the therapist you might. Most therapists are so proud of their work they've significantly raised their prices. I don't really have the patience for an hour long massage anymore either, plus I don't think the therapist can really be effective for an entire hour. Do you ever get that light butterfly with the fingers touching the last few min? That's the therapist tired and relaxing running out the clock!! Plus they are so hard to get an appointment with these days anyway!! The squeeze is not worth the juice anymore in my opinion. Anyway, one day when my wife and I made a trip to Lakeline mall in search of something for the granddaughter, I walked past this place and told my wife to go enjoy her shopping while I got a short massage. This was 5 years ago and I've been going back ever since!!! These guys are great!! The big advantages are you can usually just walk up and get started on your massage right away, no appointment necessary!!! And you choose how short or how long you want your massage(starting at 15 minutes or longer/table or chair). And their pricing is the best in town. If you need regular massages but can't afford a whole lot and want to tailor the length of your massage, I highly recommend this establishment. The only downside I can see is you have to go into Lakelline mall. I go minimum once a week and have cut my massage expenses in more than half compared to those pricy places all over town.

Great price! I was walking in the mall for an errand with an achy body and stressed mind. Excellent…read morechoice to treat myself randomly. No fuss, no fancy detail. Straightforward affordable but great reflexology. I had the combined foot reflexology and back table massage and it was great! Clean tables. Quiet area was a plus! Actually gave me the detox and boost I so much needed!

I stopped by on a whim this Monday afternoon after my morning workout and lunch and decided to get the grand opening special combo massage. It being $26 for an hour for your head, arms, back and legs/feet was so great and just the right amount of pressure. I was so sad to have to realize it was over and an hour had passed, I mean that's the best right? Standard Asian massage place where you get your feet soaked, rub down and then hot towel at the end. The rooms are clean, minimalist decorated, dimly lit and the guy massaging me was great at what he did. I can't wait to go back. Ps. bring cash to tip your masseuse!

I discovered this hidden massage place while in the neighborhood and looking for a last minute…read morewalk-in. They were able to get me an appointment for an hour long massage within half an hour of calling the place! The place is clean and has multiple massage rooms, so it is suitable for larger parties as well. The massage itself was good, however the therapist did not speak English so communication was a little difficult. However she did respond well to cues and gestures and was very attentive overall! The use of hot stones was a plus. The technique seemed a mix of Thai and Swedish strokes, so it is not a place if you are looking for deep tissue/trigger point relief kind of work. The prices are very reasonable given that this place is very new ($50!!). They have a good deal going on if one is looking for a foot massage combo (I believe $27 or so) and also a Groupon online. I would come back for the price and if I need a last minute massage appointment.

On average I work out 7+ times per week doing different exercise modalities. That type of activity…read moreon your body takes its toll. I used to get massages on a regular basis but fell off the massage wagon. A friend of mine highlighted that she has gotten massages once a month for the last 14 years. I was definitely behind the 8 ball on massages. My friend's long-term revelation was eye-opening, so I decided to get a massage today with Green Care Massage, which is located on W. Parmer, next door to Tomo Sushi. My massage choice was a deep tissue massage. Those polls are not for curtains!!! When my massage therapist asked me could she work on my back, I thought, I said yes. What she actually said was can I "walk" on your back. In my head, I was thinking why do her hands feel like feet...because they were feet! Snappity, snap, snap...I was getting a full on Ashiatsu massage (also known as back walking massage or barefoot massage). If you are not aware, Ashiatusu is a technique where the massage therapist uses their feet to apply deep pressure while holding onto overhead bars for balance and control. The word "Ashiatsu" is a Japanese word meaning (ashi=foot and atsu= pressure.) Apparently, my back was so tight I needed Ashiatsu first. My massage beginning to end was incredibly effective and rejuvenating experience. From the moment the session began, it was clear the massage therapist was highly skilled and knew her craft. The deep, slow strokes and focused techniques worked through my knots and tight muscles, especially in my back and legs. While there were moments of intensity that you would expect with deep tissue work, it was never painful (pressure...no pain). Afterward my body felt like it had exhaled and breathing fresh air.... well worth the time and money. I could feel the tension evaporating with each targeted movement. It is important note, I felt soreness in my neck and back during the massage that I did know existed previously. After the massage session, I noticed a significant improvement in my mobility and range of motion. My usual stiffness had disappeared. I do not know if I will get a massage once a month, but I certainly will not wait too long before another one.

I'm a regular! Can't quit this place, great massage for a very reasonable price. They were able…read moreto squeeze in a 90 min couple massage very last minute on Valentine's Day.
