These are all very expensive future problems which would cost thousands to repair/ replace after the fact. The cost of this inspection is minimal compared to what they prevent. In my opinion, the inspection contained major oversights that resulted in significant issues being discovered after closing. When I initially contacted the company to discuss my concerns, I felt my calls and emails were largely ignored. It wasn't until I retained an attorney and sent a formal legal demand letter that I finally received a meaningful response. What was even more frustrating was the resolution process. Rather than simply standing behind their work, I was presented with a release agreement that required me to give up my right to publicly discuss my experience in exchange for reimbursement of my inspection fee. I found that extremely disappointing. I was willing to resolve the matter professionally, but I was not willing to sign away my ability to honestly share my experience as a customer. Consumers should also know that, at the time of writing, Fox Inspection Group is not BBB accredited. Everyone makes mistakes. What separates a great company from an average one is how they respond when those mistakes are brought to their attention. In my experience, Fox Inspection Group failed that test. The lack of communication, accountability, and customer service throughout this process was unlike anything I've experienced from an inspection company.
