This company did a home inspection during the last hurricane. The inspection was thorough. So thorough that my brother in law who has bought and sold dozens of property said he never saw such a thorough report. He was accommodating with the flooding when we needed a quick reschedule. Definitely use this company. read more

Highly recommend for any home inspection After the inspection you are able to view it via pdf and walk thru it with inspector Eric. He is very knowledgeable and can give you recommendations or answer any question you have. Definitely using them again. 10/10! read more

As a general rule I trust reviews like this to make a decision on who to do business with. CeS Inspections had an impressive 5-star average, so I decided to go with them even though I received two cheaper quotes (and one more expensive!). I was not disappointed. Eric came out and plainly explained what he was going to do and what he was going to look for during his inspection. My wife and I were impressed with his thoroughness and his overall knowledge. Even though there were some issues with the home we're buying, at least we know EXACTLY what we're getting into. I can't recommend CeS Inspections enough. read more

I have hired CES Inspections two times now. On our first home we had Eric inspect our new construction before our builder warranty expired. His thorough inspection revealed a major issue in the house that was the builders responsibility and has saved us more than $200k to date. He was just as thorough and provided just as detailed of a report on the second home we hired him to inspect. He is friendly and great to work with and is happy to answer any questions you may have, even after the inspection is over. I highly recommend CES Inspections! read more

Eric, simply put, is thorough. If you don't want surprises after you purchase your home, have him inspect it first. Not only did he give a detailed report (most workmen we contacted to do the repairs gave the report high praise for catching even the smallest details.) but he spent the time to go over the report to help us understand what could be evaluated and what could not etc. His report, including photographs, then summarizes and alerts to how urgent the work is. Ethical, professional, courteous and knowledgable. read more

Cannot rave enough about CES Inspections. Eric has been SO HELPFUL in our first home-buying experience. He's very knowledgeable and gives us as much information as possible regarding everything we inquire. It's clear, he is very passionate and thorough at what he does. Since we're completely new to home-buying, we asked him if we could follow him around to see and to learn. We asked many questions throughout the inspection and Eric kindly explained each step he went through and why it was important to do what to maintain the home. After inspecting the home, we received a lengthy report from him the following day. It was broken down, and basically everything he went over with us about during the inspection was repeated again in the report (which is a lot!), and added some more details. My husband and I both trust his input. He's kind, and it has been a pleasure having him inspect our prospective homes. We are hiring him again, and would recommend him to all of our family, friends, and anyone else looking for an inspector. We can't imagine anyone else doing a better job! read more

CES inspections recently performed my final home inspection. C.e, was able to schedule around changing builder deadlines. Similar to his pre-sheet rock inspect, the final inspection was very detailed and clear. It even included areal photos of the house, which turned out to be a neat mento. I will definitely consider using CES Inspections again in the future. read more

Eric was great to work with and we are very pleased with the inspection service he provided. We are moving very quick on a new build inventory home and Eric was great at working with our short timeline. He arrived on time, was thorough in his inspection, and kept me informed throughout the process. Eric answered all of my questions and described the issues in depth. This is our first home purchase so we don't have prior experience with an Inspector, but we couldn't be happier. The official report was published online the same day and included a very detailed analysis of the findings along with pictures. The cost is very reasonable and it was well worth it given the findings. We are very glad we used CeS and will definitely recommend them to friends and family. read more

He came. He saw. He inspected! I have used CES Inspections multiple times and found their work to be exemplary... high quality, great detail, and thoroughly examined. After the inspection, I was briefed on all major issues and offered advise regarding particular aspects of the reports and their ramifications to the home, buyer and seller. Excellent job C.e. read more

CES came out to do an inspection on a home I'm in the process of purchasing. Eric promptly showed up at the scheduled time and was very thorough in explaining everything he'd be looking at and was also very thorough in explaining the major points that needed immediate attention after the inspection was completed. He also gave me a lot of helpful tips and recommendations and patiently answered all the questions I had. The whole process took about 2 - 2.5 hours and after the inspection, he sent me the report with pictures the same day a few hours later. The report was very detailed and pointed out everything that needed to be fixed. I'd definitely recommend CES Inspections to anyone purchasing a home and will also use him if I purchase a new home in the future. read more

Excellent service! Eric is knowledgeable, thorough and reliable. We hired CeS Inspections for a three-phase inspection of our new home. His reports were delivered promptly and are easy to understand. Very pleased with the customer service as well. Danielle is very responsive and friendly. The price is fair and the service is worth 10+ stars. read more

Eric was great at picking the small defects and doing a very thorough job at explaining us the house condition. He brings in years of experience and sound knowledge of how things work which as a customer makes us feel very comfortable. Definitely recommend him for home inspections. read more

Eric was detailed oriented, articulate while explaining findings, and provided a comprehensive report with notes and pictures in fast order. I would recommend and use CeS again. read more

We hired CES for our one year home warranty inspection and I was shocked by the number of issues they found! Armed with their report and a lot of determination, we were able to get our builder to make repairs and improvements that would have cost us $30K+ to handle on our own (no exaggeration). I wish we had used them during the closing process instead of the company our realtor recommended. We waited a few days to get on their schedule and their fee was a bit higher than other companies I called, but we went with CES based on the great reviews. Needless to say it was time / money very well spent and is my best Yelp find of all time! read more

I really had a great experience with CeS. Professional, timely and great communication. Eric was thorough and very knowledgeable. I felt I got good value for my money and felt confident that I had view on the condition of the house I was buying. read more

Welp, as far as home inspections go, this experience was AWESOME! Easy to make an appointment-check On Time to said appointment-check Patient attitude with my bossy, vocal new puppy-check The guys were awesome...taking the time to explain things to me(even though most of it went over my head!) Lol! They scoured every inch of the house..even the scary attic-Eeek! As promised, my report was delivered with the utmost expedience while I was snoozing soundly in my freshly inspected home. I have nothing but positive remarks to say about this shop. They are personable, respectful, and I feel like they know their ish inside & out, up & down, even backwards doing a twirl! So without further adieu, I have already recommended them......TWICE :D How ya like me now? read more

Eric was great on our pre-framing inspection. He was very knowledgeable and his report was easy to follow for someone not familiar with construction. We were nervous if the builder would agree to fix the issues in our report and our builder fixed everything he suggested. Thanks again Eric, we will see you on our final inspection. read more

Called this company based on their great reviews, no answer, did what their voicemail stated to do for quotes. I went to the online website and requested a quote for a new build. No response, no call, no email. read more

CeS did a great job on the inspection for our new construction home. Very detailed and informative report. Definitely recommend!

I had C.e. Schultz do our 1 year warranty inspection on our new build home and I have nothing but great things to say! He arrived on time and did a thorough inspection of the entire home. He went through every nook and cranny of the house, inside and out, and documented everything as he went along. The inspection report was extremely detailed and very easy to read, with pictures and location provided for things that needed repair. He is very knowledgeable on just about everything home related and it shows in his high quality work. A great professional all around! read more

Eric helped my wife and I to identify several important issues with a house that ultimately led us to look for another home. He is thorough, professional, and helpful in his assessments. We enjoyed working with him and would choose him again for future inspection work. read more

Eric and his father came and inspected our first fixer upper 2 years ago. They were both personable and as I was eager to learn a lot about what to look for in a home, were great at explaining what they were doing and what they saw positive and negative with the house. I ended up backing out of the offer and the bank came back and asked me what I was willing to pay. Given what I learned from CeS Inspections I suggested a price much lower than listed and got the house! 2 years later we have finished our renovation and are preparing to sell the house. Because of CeS we bought it at a great price and expect to make a decent profit. Having been through this whole process I can say that CeS Inspections did not miss a single thing and were right on the money with what needed to be done. I have highly recommended them to friends and will be using them for our future properties. read more

Eric at CeS Inspections was hired to perform home inspection on a 5 year old single family home. First impressions: punctual, courteous, professional, personable & no-nonsense personality. As we got to see him work on-site and his interactions with us and the realtor, we felt more at ease that he was there to do a thorough inspection...for us. During the 3 hours he took to complete the inspection, Eric never seemed like he was in a rush. Systems he physically looked at? Roof, foundation, electrical, plumbing, attic, insulation, moisture, internal walls, carpet/tile, plumbing, electrical outlets, permanent fixtures & appliances, inside cabinets, under sinks. Final impressions: straight-forward, above average communicator, hard worker, thorough, detail-oriented, understanding & patient, very knowledgable about essential and non-essential home systems and empathetic. For a more complete understanding of any unknown re-sale residential property up for purchase, we would also recommend you contact a pest control company (or similar profession) to check for termite/wood-damaging pests at the same time you schedule something with CeS Inspections. Bottom-line. Trust worthy inspector who we would feel very comfortable recommending to family and close friends. read more

Called on Thursday, 10/1 before we were even in our option period to see when they could get out to us. They'll reply within 24 hours, they say. So, no problem! We never heard back from them. On Monday, 10/5, we finally called them again, and, of course, they can't get out to us until our option period is over. So maybe these people are sooooo greeeeeeat ooh la la if they actually call you back. But if they don't, well then you're me. Which is an extremely disappointed, angry not-even-customer-because-they-never-gave-me-the-opportunity-to-be-one who wishes she had never heard of them. read more

Eric was thorough and super easy to work with. We did a phase inspection process on our new build home. He responded quickly to calls, was on time, and his report was detailed and easy to read. Our builder even commented on the fact that his recommendations were summarized nicely so he could easily see what needed to be adressed. The final inspection definitely helped our final walk through with our builder go much smoother and faster because we already knew what needed to be addressed and some of those little things like checking to make sure the sockets all worked properly had already been checked by Eric (as well as the major things too). I would highly recommend him! read more

CES Inspections provided the most detailed and thorough inspection report I have ever had. Having just gotten an offer accepted on a Tuesday night, I called Eric first thing Wednesday morning. He explained to me in detail what the inspection would include and gave me a reasonable quote on the spot. He was able to come out first thing Friday morning and he ans his teammate were truly a pleasure to work with. His work is thorough and he shows true pride and expertise in what he does. The thermal imaging that's included added another level of depth and detail to the inspection and gave us additional peace of mind. The report, which we received the same day not only prioritized defects by risk level, but included "good to know" facts so that we essentially have the closest thing to a "home manual" that we could get. The report will be invaluable as a reference for years to come. Having worked with a few other inspectors in the past, CES is definitely a cut above the rest! read more

As a first-time homebuyer, the inspection process seemed a bit intimidating. I received a recommendation for Eric from a friend who had just closed on her house, so I booked him immediately. I was pleasantly surprised with the process, which was informative, thorough, and very clear. I was on site during the inspection, and I learned a lot about my new home during the process. I received a final report online the same evening that I was immediately able to send to my builder, complete with detailed descriptions and photos. Eric has been great in responding to follow-up questions, as well. You can tell that he takes a lot of pride in his work and in being an advocate for the homeowner. I would highly recommend him! read more

C. e. Schultz (addressed from here on as C) came out to our new home construction this morning for our inspection to find out, unexpected by C or myself, that the gas in the house is not ready yet. C let me know that it just simply isn't worth it to do the inspection right now. Though I am technically responsible to pay him for bringing him out here, C was more than happy to waive it for me and reschedule. C gave me confidence in him as he advised on possible issues and processes that may come up when the rescheduled inspection happens. I will update this review again after the actual inspection, which I am confident will be nothing short of exceptional and thorough. UPDATE: The inspection has been completed, and C. e. Schultz was thorough and easy to work with. C explained everything on the inspection report and will continue to advise after the inspection. He is easy to reach and just a great resource. If you are looking for customer service, go with C, and if you are looking for knowledge and thoroughness, also go with C. read more

Im in the process of buying a home and needed an inspection performed on it, started doing some research and came across CeS Inspections, and their high ratings, so decided to schedule the job. Eric showed up promptly to the house and was there doing his inspection for 4 hours, very thorough, very professional and has hi-tech NDT (None Destructive Testing) equipment, explains every aspect of the work he's doing and gives you tips and recomendations on what to do to address certain issues that may come up. This is not my first home so i've had quite a few inspections done on other homes, but have never come across an inspection like the one Eric preformed on this house. Thanks Eric! read more

I've never given a review for anything, not even an amazon product review. However, I will give Eric and his team 5/5 stars for the inspection he provided to our newly built home. He was thorough and picked out all the building deficiencies for all the different trades who typically work on a home. From plumbing to electrical and carpentry, there were so many things Eric identified there was no way the common person would even know what to look for. We are extremely happy with Eric's inspection and if you're looking for an inspector- save time and money-choose CES Inspections. read more

I cannot stress, how painless and satisfied I was with this entire process. As a first time home buyer, I knew I needed a robust, thorough inspection, and that is exactly what I got. The final inspection report was extremely impressive. There were things that were caught that I would never have even thought of checking, but I am so happy they were caught prior to closing on the house. C.E. pays great attention to detail and is very knowledgable in his field of work. I thank you for serving me with such a great experience! read more

I wonder what we would have gotten ourselves into if we did not have an inspection done on our new construction home. Booking an appointment is easy and straightforward. They give you the information you need beforehand on the type of inspection they will perform. Eric makes himself available to answer questions before, during and after the inspections. I echo all the reviews here, it is true! Very quality and detailed work!! We did a framing and final inspection with CeS. Definitely worth every penny, and anyone looking to buy a house, I highly recommend Eric and his crew at CeS! Thank you for the outstanding work. read more

Our builder scheduled a walk through of our new house last minute on a Friday. We're so happy we were able to get CES to come out and do our inspection Thursday afternoon and was still able to get the report by Friday morning. Eric was on time, very friendly and very informative of the whole inspection process. The report was extremely detail and broke things down by section, has pictures, had symbols indicating whether an issue is a safety issue, and even had the code description listed below each findings. We've hired inspectors for our previous homes and the report/quality of work we got from CES way surpass any report/quality of work we've gotten from other inspectors. We also rehired CES to come out to do a repair verification of our new house. A lot of things our builder said they completed was actually not completed, of which some of the items were not easy to verify (requires a thermal gun). On the repair verification report, Eric color coded red and green on issues that were not addressed and addressed. It was very easy to follow. Our builder even gave compliments to CES for the quality of the report. I would definitely recommend CES to anyone and if we ever need another home inspection, the only person we would hire going forward is CES. read more
