I found another amazing fan at Lamps Plus. Almost every light and every fan in my house came from Lamps Plus. Jason Dybas (one of the Lamps Plus pros) worked effortlessly to help me find the perfect fan for my master bedroom. Unfortunately, after being installed, it did not work correctly. I had another identical fan installed and it did not operate correctly either. Sadly, I was ready to settle for a different fan until the store manager (Susan Johnson) called me, made arrangements to have a third fan replacement, and it worked perfectly. Wow, oh wow...I seriously have not had customer service like this in years!!! I purchased 3 fans for my new home around 7 years ago. One of the fans started acting up. When I called, Susan answered the phone and assisted me in doing some troubleshooting over the phone. Once we determined that it was a problem with the motor, she assisted me over the phone in starting the warranty process. There were a couple of amazing customer service characteristics that stood out to me about Susan. First, she called me by my first name throughout the entire process of working with her. This made me feel like a valued customer instead of just another number. Second, when we got disconnected she called me right back. I don't know many businesses that do that. Third, she guided me through the entire troubleshooting process and explained what the warranty return would look like. This type of dedication and customer service takes time and patience. She did not just treat me like another number. She treated me like a person that she really cared about. It is hard to find superb customer service nowadays and I was highly impressed with Susan and other Lamps Plus' employees patience, treating me like a person instead of a number, and their attention to detail. I also value that they stand behind their product and worked with me to exchange this fan for a brand new one since we found out it was the motor that was covered under warranty. I told her I had hired a new employee and needed one by the following day. She got the desk that I liked approved to be sold to me. We have loved this Lamps Plus for years giving them our business many times but just recently they were extremely helpful. We had purchased two identical fans to replace some existing ones in our family room and primary bedroom. We were a little slow after purchase to hire someone to install them and upon putting one in our family room which was awesome for the space we decided it wasn't right for the primary bedroom so Susan (assistant manager), Brie (salesperson in training) and salesperson Matt were very helpful with my return and replacement purchase of the one fan.
