Happy anniversary ! I love this store. I wish I had an opportunity to buy more items here, but I haven't yet. I typed in my description online and an item and the store was the location for it. I called the associate that answered their phone was very friendly. The associate that answered the phone took the time to verify the product was in store confirmed it and offered to have it shipped to me in 2 to 3 days, however I decided to go in. The item was beautiful worth the value however it did not fully meet the description I entered in. I the associate was so kind to take me over to the area where the items that fit. The complete description were located to view the selection. did not leave with the merchandise today, but I still have a few days and hopefully it's available when I return. I bought a floor lamp in 2006 from Lamps Plus, at the Maryland Parkway location. About a year ago the ON/OFF switch stopped working. I stopped by Lamps Plus at the Stephanie location to ask about a repair. They laughed and handed me a switch (which was the WRONG one). They also said they dont do service on their products. My wife loves this store! I like going there with her, to look around because they have so many choices. We've bought most of the fixtures for our house at Lamps Plus. They have very good prices, you can find sales on a lot of items, the installation service is affordable and usually pretty quick, and everyone of the sales people is incredibly helpful. They have a lot of knowledge and ask you questions about things you didn't think about, to help any mistakes be avoided. We got lights for the front and back door, a ceiling fan, entryway light, and purchased our second dining room light from them. One of the LED fixtures on that light was burned out, and they offered to replace it for free with no charge for the second time. Great customer service!! read more

We've been buying our fans and lights at lamps plus for 10yrs now. Everytime, the customer service and selection is amazing. Susan helped us find the right fan for our bedroom. While we were ready to spend a very expensive fan, she found a beautiful alternative for a third of the price. In addition, a side question about light intensity, brightness, and color, led to us changing our lightbulbs for our kitchen and living room. Great store, great service. We bought a pair of Barstools, and they were delivered the next day, literally dumped on our front steps, in boxes, without so much as a knock on the door. I blame Fed Ex for that. My wife called and complained. The store manager himself, Robert Fritz, came to our home and assembled them for us (we're in our 80's). He was great. Much appreciated. It makes the point that folks need to support local businesses. Amazon is great, but there are times when doing business locally is better. This was one of those times. We recently moved into a new home and needed some lighting for almost every room. While it's fun to look at options online, we prefer to work with a local store. This branch of Lamps plus was very helpful in answering our questions, ordering the lamps, calling to let us know when they arrived, facilitating pickup and even having a great selection of bulbs for us. We wanted to open the boxes at the store to be sure the glass parts of the lamps had not been damaged in shipping, and they were most helpful with that, too, as well as loading them into our car.
