Arrived on a busy Sunday morning with just a 10 minute wait to be seated. Food was very good with huge portions. Friendly service and food arrived with special requests granted such as extra crispy bacon. Will Love to return and try other menu items.

This time, we enjoyed the seafood combo which was a huge tasty meal. Although, I thought the breading was a little heavy. Perhaps, we can request a tempura / lightly coated blend next time. My blackened salmon salad was spot on! Our server Tristan was attentive & quite knowledgeable of the food offerings. He's a keeper!

Visited this place at my sisters recommendation after she had a great experience. The diner is extremely clean and beautiful. Its actually the largest diner I have ever been dined in. The staff is extremely nice and it didnt take long to be seated. We visited in the afternoon but I was craving breakfast, so I got a belgium waffle with apples and whipped cream on top. The waffle was cooked a little too well because it was hard and the apple pie filling used wasnt really good. However, my daughter enjoyed her mickey mouse pancakes. My sister had a shrimp fajita that she enjoyed also. However, despite how the waffle wasnt really to my liking, I cannot brag ENOUGH about the customer service we received. Our waitress Michelle was an absolute ANGEL! The care, patience, attetiveness, and kindness she displayed to us was top notch. I would definitely return and give this place another try just based on her customer service alone. She also bragged so much about how well the owner treats the staff. This made me so happy because often times the waitresses at diner come across so unhappy due to how leadership treats them, which affects the service they provide. Michelle worked with so much pride and joy. I cant thank her enough for the service she provided. Oh, cant forget to mention we did have bread pudding and it was soooooo good! Glad she recommended we try it.

The parking was so good. I was able to take my Ferrari.

Well, we've been going out for breakfast every Wednesday morning for the last eight months and we came upon the Lampost diner in clementon nj one of the finest choices we ever made. You couldn't get better eggs and scrapple and sausages and scrambled eggs and pancakes. The people unbelievably friendly, the waitress, Gabrielle, a breath of fresh air, all I could say is go go go to the Lampost diner, a perfect destination spot. I recommend this restaurant can't wait to go back. John D'Antonio.

My best friend and I were looking for a new place to check out during one of those nights when we didn't know what mood we were in a few months ago. He did a quick search and discovered the Lamp Post Diner. Since then we have been here half a dozen times. It's definitely one of our favorite diners in the area. We have tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner and everything has been good. The parking is plentiful, the interior is nicer than most area diners, and the menu has all of your classic diner favorites and then some. If you're looking for a good local diner, check out Lamp Post!

Massive portions. Had to send the NY strip back because it was burned and the broccoli side was disgusting. Otherwise great staff.

I've been coming to this business for years and they've never disappointed! Delicious cream puffs…read moreat a decent price for this economy. Chocolate ofcourse is my absolute favorite but dont sleep on their banana flavor either! They also have seasonal special flavors. Give them a try, you wont be disappointed

Let me start by saying I've been a patron of this establishment for years. The taste of the food is…read moreusually consistent with a couple of hiccups here and there. With that being said, two weeks ago I placed an order for 3 dozen creampuffs and scheduled a pick-up for 1:30p on Saturday (4/4). I arrived at 12:50p as I was in the area after traveling from Philly. Upon my arrival there was a line out the door and wrapped around the porch in 80 degree weather. Initially I bypassed the line thinking they must of been walk-in orders given that in the previous times I've placed orders they were always prepared with a slip stuck in the box(es) and you're in/out under 10-15mins. When I learned that everyone in line were customers that had placed orders, and were waiting to pick up, I took my place in line. During my 2.5+ hour wait myself (along with other customers) learned the following: 1. Napoleon's kept taking orders up until close the previous day (Fri. 4/3). That was shocking given that they usually stop taking orders days ahead of time. 2. They were giving some customers 50% off who were waiting since 11:30a but then giving other customers 10% off, and some were charged full price. At one point, a worker stood at the register and literally said "I'm just spit balling numbers here." 3. The staff at Napoleon's justified the hours long wait time because two staff members "called out." Here's my issue hence the low rating: While I am sympathetic to being short staffed, as a previous restaurant co-owner, being short staffed was not the problem today. The problem was disorganization and poor management. In my 2.5+ hour long wait I saw a staff member run in & out of the building several times taking people's names and original pick up time over and over again. How many times do you need to capture the same information? It was a waste of time. Secondly, nothing was prepped. Napoleon's took orders up until Friday yet they were in the process of baking cream puff shells, and making the filling the whole time I waited. None of it was prepped the night before or even the morning of. Thirdly, what they decided to charge the folks I waited with had no rhyme or reason. They gave one guy 50% off, another 10%, and then charged another full price. Either do it for all who waited, or don't do it at all. It's a slap in the face to people who spent valuable time in 80 degree weather to try and support your disorganized establishment. At 4:00p when my order was finally ALMOST ready, and I was told to pay full price, I raised this observation to the staff. I informed them my time, along with others, is valuable and the discount should be across the board. I was told "Ok, you can leave." I did exactly that. While the cream puffs are decent, they do not justify how the operation was mishandled and then the shitty customer service on top of it. It's simply the principle of it. I will never go back, and I encourage future patrons to not give it your time of day. You're simply a $ to the money hungry owner, and they do not care about customer satisfaction. You've been warned.
