Easy to work with & very fair pricing and a lot of different products & services to chose from

Nice folks. A friend of mine used their services when they were moving to rent a large dumpster for their driveway and recommended them, so I took a chance. The dumpster arrived on time as promised and was placed exactly as requested in my driveway. They actually gave me a few extra days with it for no charge, which was nice. All in all, very good service and excellent bargain. read more

Cost effective and give you more time than most dumpster rentals. I wish their pickup communication was a little better but other than the pickup process they were easy to work with. read more

We hired them to pick up some the junk piles as a result of our demolition project. Got quote on phone with pictures provided before hand. They processed quotation on the phone and made schedule for the service right away. Price is not too bad at all, compared to other haulers I used before. Highly recommended! read more

This is my 1st time to use Lam hauling. I have very good experience with them. I called in the morning and dump box was dropping off in the afternoon on same day. They came pick it up fast too. Only thing is driver didn't give me a call when they came pick up. Staff is nice and very good attitude. They offer me a discount too on my order. The price I got compare to others much better. Strongly recommend and will back soon. Thanks!!! read more

I ordered a dumpster for my parents through dumpster.com. It came quickly but when it came to pick up well that's another story. It was supposed to be picked up the first of October and we are now on the 11. No one can tell us when it will be picked up only that they will try their best. They didn't even email or call to tell me they were late I have to constantly call to ask and it's alway "sorry we can't give an estimate". The first time it was late they said they had a 2-4 day delay but "maybe tomorrow" and again it's been 10 days and the dumpster is still sitting on my parent's driveway. We are fed up and let them know if they don't pick up by the end of the week it will be considered abandoned and we can find someone to dispose of it. They said no it's lam hauling property...well that driveway is private property and the contract was for 10 days we are on day 20 so what's the solution? They told us if we didn't call to have it picked up on time they'd charge 150 a day so again they are 10 days late so what do we get? Look elsewhere for your dumpster because this has been an awful experience that seems to have no end in sight read more

Fraud!! No delivery of barricades.... they called and said to be home and I waited all day and nothing came. I emailed for weeks and called and now today they say it was delivered. No way and I have a door bell camera and nothing was on video. Horrible customer service. I hope Amazon stops using this company. This order was over $1000 and I want my money back!! read more

We hired the 15 yard dumpster for a week, which was delivered as promised. However, they removed it without any notice 4 days later! You can imagine my shock to arrive home and find the dumpster gone! I called about it, but said there was a miscommunication about pick up. They ended up giving us a partial credit, but we we're stuck with our junk. Not happy! read more

I had my backyard trash hauled by Lam hauling. They offered quick service and competitive price, came right a day after I called and gave them pictures of my messed backyard. The guy came with the truck and pick up my stuff is professional and friendly. read more

My contractor recommended Lam Hauling and I've been working with them for the last week to coordinate 4 construction dumpster swaps. Every time I've called in, they were extremely helpful. They made sure I was requesting the right container so that I wouldn't overpay for what I didn't need. They are super friendly and responsive. The drivers are also respectful and were cautious to make sure not to damage the pavers on my driveway. They also delivered every dumpster swap within same day or early morning next day so we wouldn't have delays in our remodel. Would definitely recommend Lam Hauling! read more

I will definitely be hiring Lam Hauling for any of my future jobs that need any hauling done. They are very professional. I just rented a dumpster from here and I wanted to give some details in case anyone else was looking for EXACT pricing. I am remodeling my house and basically gutted the kitchen and bath so my debris was a bit of everything. I rented at 20 cu ft for $335, as listed on their website. I saw a "mention yelp and get $10 off", so it was $325. We filled the bin completely. Everything from tile, concrete, drywall, wood, etc. I have attached a picture to give you a better idea. The dumpster was filled right up to the rim. You called the day of to get a time on when they will arrive. They told me between 1-3pm but they showed up on 3:30, no biggie. We have a long driveway and asked if they could back the bin into the backyard so neighbors couldn't try to use our dumpster. They had no problems doing this and didn't scratch a thing at delivery or pickup. A couple days later we get a call and they will need to charge us another $48.19 because we went over the 3 ton limit. They charge $79 for every 1 ton over. What can we say at this point? We cannot ask for proof. They could totally be throwing out a number to get an extra dollar out of us. Who knows though, they could be telling us the truth but you still have to wonder??? Maybe the truck should have weight so they can tell you then and there? I called $99 debris box and they charge the same, $335 for 20 cu ft, includes delivery, pickup, taxes, and fees. I also had called a hauling company and they came to look at my pile and quoted me $1000. Whatever the case I'm just glad my debris is gone even for $373.19. There isn't much info on dumpster and hauling so hope this helps just so you're aware of what's out there and options. read more

DO NOT USE LAM HAULING!!!! I was stuck with a dumpster full of trash in my driveway for two weeks! I called them and scheduled a pick up date/time two different times & THEY DIDN'T SHOW UP!! They didn't pick up my dumpster until the third time I called them. I was beyond irritated at this point!! When I called to schedule the pickups of my dumpster...the receptionist on the phone was rude and not helpful whatsoever. The second time I called, I asked her to call her driver & make sure he was actually coming to get the dumpster. She said she would do that & just hung up on me! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Horrible manners. Horrible way to treat your customers. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

Great service, they came in and removed all of the junk from my yard. It was quick and affordable! Definitely recommend their services!

There are many reviews on this business' page about how there is a lack of clear communication on the part of the company -- and it's all true. You'll be told a time or date for drop-off and pick-up and that will not happen. Or you'll be told they can't tell you when your bin will be picked up. Or that they'll phone you back and you're left waiting without a return call. Also, the reviews that have mentioned additional charges -- also true. There are very few ways that you can confirm why you are being charged extra. But if for some reason you decide to book this company, expect to pay at least $290 more (without warning), on top of your rental fee for some type of overcharge. In general, they are one of the most expensive junk removal companies in the Bay Area because the lack of clarity in what you as a consumer can expect ends up costing you more in time, and money. The whole process felt like a scam. We ordered one size bin and received another. I only called them because my local Recology service was fully booked and I was on a time crunch and had not read their reviews until after the fact. I've been doing a lot of home projects, and this was by far the most stressful, frustrating, and disappointing. My advice to anyone looking for a satisfactory junk removal service experience is... not this one. Shop around, read reviews before booking, take a lot of pictures for proof, over communicate, get it in writing, if something feels off, you're probably right. read more

I have rental properties all over and finding good help is hard! Over the summer I purchased a foreclosed home to use as a rental. Not expecting the home to be in any rent-ready condition, I suspected that there would be some fixing up. The place was a mess; there was garbage and debris everywhere. I needed to completely clean it out. I called around for quotes and stumbled across Lam's Hauling after doing a price comparison. A very sweet young lady, Evelyn gave me a quote that was better than the competition. I don't like to overpay.. EVER! And she informed me of a haul away service they offered. I usually resort renting a dumpster and going to the local home-depot to pick up day a few day laborers, but I find myself doing some of the hard labor too. Where's the justice?! This job needed to be handled quickly and efficiently. Bless Evelyn's heart I was quite impressed that she was upfront and so thorough with the process. She answered all my questions and told me her people will handle everything . I didn't have to do a thing except kick back with a red glass of wine! That I did. We scheduled a pickup and the workers came during the pick up window. They were quick .... in and out of the place. I didn't actually realize how much junk there was until everything was in the dumpster ready to be hauled away. Boy I'm glad i didn't have to lift a thing. I called Evelyn, and she said her drivers would drive straight to dump the debris, and she would get back to me about finishing up the transaction which she did. Thanks Evelyn.... I hope you and your staff enjoyed the sweets I sent to your office. You've won yourself a new customer!! read more

Beware. They tried to call me to exact overage monies claiming I am 2 tons over their 2 ton limit and wanting another $300. When in fact all I had was old drywall from a 3 bedroom house. Which I was able to load in the dumpster in a couple of hours. They will call you 2 weeks later seeking money to exploit you with no proof it was actually yours ; just some random weight from any dumpster. Beware of these scammers read more

The box was right but the measurements i was given were off and I definitely overpaid for this service but I got the crap out of my house and yard and attic Heres the problems with their service: 1. Double verify everything you say to them on the phone -- i had 3 callbacks because someone could not transfer numbers well. 2. No matter what the phoneguy says the boxes dont come with lids which means you have to stand guard against the SOBs who pull up at night and dump their crap into your box. If you do catch one, capture their license and they get a citation ($150). minor justice but fine with me 3. they never seem to get anyplace on time and you can forget about asking them to call ahead when they are coming your way. Shades of The Cable Guy! to the credit of the drivers, both showed me their msgs from the office with no phone #s after i spelled it out for the officegirl. read more

It was time for us to do some backyard cleaning and haul away dirt and junk. For the job, we needed to rent a 10yard dirt only, 5yard dirt/concrete, and 15 yard Recyclable dumpster. one dumpster per week. The lady on the phone was very polite and answered all my questions and concerns about any extra charges if any. She was very upfront and told me about weight limits and non acceptable items. I had shopped around for best pricing and may have called them under a different name they Do Business As. Although I didn't like the fact that the operator had told me the prices had recently went up and higher then on their website, they still had the best prices then others with similar dumpster sizes. She matched the website pricing anyways. Dumpsters were arrived and picked up on time and we now have a cleaner backyard. read more

Lam Hauling - Lam hauling delivering my order - Dumpster Rental Near Me

After a kitchen and bathroom remodeling my garage is full of construction debris so I called 4-5 place to compare quote and Lam's Hauling came up on top. The lady on the phone was very friendly and helpful. Between my first contact and them actually coming onsite I had to reschedule the hauling times about 3 times, they were very flexible and kind to accommodate me. The driver Tim was very friendly, he gave me a quote which i think was reasonable. In about an hour they took care of all the junk, sweep my garage as well as the driveway. I would hire them again if I ever has more junk removal in the future. read more

They will charge you an over weight fee, there is no way of verifying that amount, it's whatever they want to charge you, they have your credit card, ur stuck paying any amount they want. We didn't even get a call that we were overweight, they just charged our card almost double the amount. read more

Great service. Dumpster arrived on time and was the perfect size for me. They left it right where I needed it. I messed up with the amount of time that I needed it, but they accommodated me for the extra time I needed to finish. No hassles and I got charged what was arranged. It was way cheaper than using the city's garbage service's dumpster rental. I'll use Lam Hauling again if I ever need a dumpster. read more

A few months back used Lam Hauling again. Sure enough I got the same amazing service and price that I was quoted. No hidden fees or charging after the fact. I HIGHLY recommend Lam Hauling, can't say enough good things about their services. BTW, beware of people coming to your front yard and dumpster diving through all of your debris. I suppose with the current economy, many people are recycling metals and such. A neighbor of mine told me to not allow people to go into the dumpsters, as the dumpster is on my property and if anyone was to get injured while diving, the homeowner may be held liable. Something for you to keep in mind. read more

Just confirming what others have stated: on one of my jobs they left a bin for three weeks after the proposed pickup. called and they swore on a stack of bibles that pickup was today, tomorrow at the latest. My wife and I were doing some serious cleaning of the house. After years of living here we had accumulated a lot of random stuff that we either bought with the intention of using or used and just don't use anymore. Things were starting to pile up so we decided to order a dumpster instead of trying to pile everything in the minivan and make multiple trips to the dump. I did some research and decided on Lam Hauling due to their price point. I mean some of these places were charging over $500 for the same size dumpster and less time. It's a dumpster. It's not like there are premium dumpsters that are the same size and theirs has better...I dunno walls or tires or something. There aren't any luxury dumpsters. One place I talked to said I couldn't pile it any higher than the wall or they would charge extra. Really? Extra just for going a bit higher than the wall? No thanks. Anyhow...I had a great experience with Lam Hauling. Ordering was easy and they were very upfront about any extra charges that would be added during the phone call. The restrictions were very straight forward, don't go over the weight, there are extra charges for large appliances, couches, or mattresses. No hazardous materials. It was explained that the reason for the charges was because the place that they take the junk to charged extra for those items. I liked Lam because they didn't put a restriction on height. I ordered the smallest they had because we were just clearing out clutter. Delivery was good and on the day I asked for it. In fact they came much earlier than expected. The driver was apologetic because it was obvious I ran out after just jumping out of bed. They dropped off the dumpster and went away. I went back to bed. Over the course of the weekend we emptied out all the junk into the container and we piled it pretty high. I mean we tossed tables and big boxes so it was impossible to avoid piling some stuff over the walls but for safety sake we tried to only pile it high in the middle so it wouldn't over flow and fall out. We had 7 days with dumpster but finished in 3. I called for an early pickup and by the time I got home from work it was gone. All in all a great experience. If I need another one in the near future (and I'm sure I will) I'll use Lam again. read more

Used Lam Hauling for my house remodeling. Their price was very reasonable and they followed the instruction on dumpster box drop off time and location. Our neighbors started filling up our dumpster box, I called Lam Hauling to pick up the box as soon as possible, they picked it up within 3 hours. That's the service I was getting. I am very happy using Lam Hauling. One caution is do not fill above the top of the box. There was $150 extra charge, which was reduced to $125 after talking to them. read more
