My family and I have used Golden Box Dumpster Services on numerous occasions and have been happy with them in the past, however the last two experiences have been like no other. Recently my sister ordered a dumpster and they picked it up 8 hours before the designated time which between the hours of 2pm-5pm. This caused us essentially a full day's work lost. I chopped the mishap up to miscommunication and left it at that. More recently, I ordered a 30yd dumpster for my mother. I gave Nguyen my credit card info the day of the order. The box was dropped off as agreed upon, however I received two voicemails 3 days later requesting my credit card info again. I attempted to return both calls - the first time I was hung up on, the second, I was put on hold for over 45 minutes. The next day as I am taking in the trash cans, I was greeted by a young man attempting to take away the dumpster! Mind you, my order was for two full weeks, not 4 days. I again attempted to call customer service and was put on hold. The pickup guy was able to get a response on his first attempt w/out any issue. I am gravely disappointed in how this was situation was handled. Especially since we use their services so frequently. I wasn't informed about an issue with payment until after delivery, nor they inform me that they would be picking up the dumpster early. If only they we be more prompt in answering phones as they are in picking up dumpsters. read more

They came in time they took the dumpster in time the most important the price was the best price in the market. I will use them again.

I've rented a few dumpsters before and by far this is the most reliable, trustworthy, and professional rental company! -Reliable because you tell them a day and they have it delivered within a time frame. -Trustworthy because they didn't have any extra hidden fees or surcharges. Even afterwards there was no extra charges to our account. -Professional by answering all of my questions in a timely manner. Signing an agreement to explain xyz and helping me feel at ease to reassure me that the dump is definitely coming. read more

Golden Box Dumpster Services - Threw away quite a lot of stuff! This was a 30 yard. - Dumpster Rental Near Me

I live in Los Altos and they completed the job (about 15 yards mostly of soil) today. I had to leave for a meeting away from my home and was not sure if I would return prior to their completion, so I paid them in full and left with the job unfinished. A dishonest contractor may have been tempted to take the money and run, but when I returned they were still on the project and almost completed. Indeed, I was very pleased that they went the extra mile by including other items (chair, stationary exercise bicycle, etc.) that certainly added to their dumping costs and yet they did not complain nor ask for more money. I gave all three an extra $20 tip for a job well done. read more

Prompt, on time, and good value for the dollar. I've used them quite a few times. In the last 2 instances, the one before the last time, my dumpster accidentally got picked up before the pick up date. I called to let them know and they had a new one delivered a few days later with a discount. Upon pick up and being invoiced, it was so, so easy. They rectified their mistake and are seriously one of the few companies where I've been 100% satisfied with their services. I feel no regrets in giving a 5 star rating because I would give more if I could. Everything about their service is seamless and hassle free. Pricing is competitive and they have had dumpsters of various sizes available when I've needed them, even at the last minute. read more

I'm new to this whole dumpster rental thing. But if you are considering Golden Box, LOOK NO FURTHER. First I want to start by saying the entire process was so smooth. From getting the quote to getting the actual box dropped off was seamless. I even reached out to them for a second box today. Thank you all for your hard work and for making renting a dumpster so easy!!!!!!!! read more

Definitely would recommend. Price was set with no tacked on fees besides the two extra days and even that was more than reasonable. I messaged thru here the night before drop off and responded quickly and was able to schedule via yelp messaging. Was here within the first hour of chosen time frame. Respected social distancing. Dumpster was very nice and clean and drop off was discreet and quick. Did not charge my card until after dumpster was dropped off. Night before pick up I was panicking per I was not done cleaning out my house so I called number from website and pushed pick up back one more day. $25 fee to extend a day. Then I still needed another day and once again (via message on yelp) was able to extend another day for $25 fee. They picked up early the morning on the ninth day while I was asleep and that was that. Stress free and professional. Dumpster was full to the top and was concerned about weight but turned out to be just fine. read more

Golden Box Dumpster Services - Dumpster in my driveway - Dumpster Rental Near Me

This company is great. They have very affordable prices when it comes to dumpster box rental. I asked for 5 quotes from local dumpster rental companies, this one by far had the lowest price point for the same service I was looking for. You can always go with another company, that is if you want to pay an extra $125-$175 for the rental. So, Priceline was where I wanted it and was looking for. Once you order your dumpster, they give you a time and date for drop off and pick up. They even came early for both drop off and pick up on day of which was very nice. Because you want to get work done immediately they were there early, luckily. And when the box was filled completely, on the day of the pickup they came early to get it out of my driveway, so I don't have a full Dumpster sitting in the driveway. That was much appreciated. I will definitely go with them in the future if I ever need another dumpster rental. And I definitely recommend their services to others as well. Save yourself and your family some money and if you are looking for a reputable company with good pricing, this is the one for you! Thank you Golden Box Dumpster Services for your customer service and care! read more

Had to rent a dumpster to start clearing things out of the house. Minor hiccup with the initial drop off but their customer service was outstanding. The whole process from booking the dumpster to pick up was seamless. Quote was the exact amount of the dumpster rental. I would definitely recommend and use their services again!! read more

They were reliable with the dumpster delivery and pick up. Pricing was a straight forward flat rate. Will use this company again.

Guy didn't wanna bring a dumpster because I am in a residential area. He says he only does commercial and Morgan Hill. I don't buy it. I just don't think he wants to come to Morgan Hill. So don't advertise here. How about that read more

The dumpsters showed up on time and the driver was extremely helpful. The whole process was outstanding with excellent customer service. I asked for the dumpsters to be picked up sooner than the 7 days and they accommodated by request and the whole process was seamless and would use them again. i highly recommend using this dumpster service. read more

We used Golden Box Dumpster service when we cleaned out our home to get ready for a move. They were quick to respond via email and text. The dumpster arrived quickly and we were able to extend our use for an extra day as we had last minute stuff to toss. Drop off and pick-up were quick, and I did not need to be there. They accepted some items that other companies would not. So easy to work with - we would use them in a heartbeat again! read more

This dumpster provider is fast reliable and on time business. They brought the dumpster to our house faster than we thought possible and with the 7 days to use it for our project was a huge help. These guys are no joke and get it done at a great price. I would highly recommend these guys. read more

Despite having no reviews I decided to give these guys a chance because they were quickest to respond with a quote and the person I spoke to on the phone seemed really nice and accommodating. They were very professional and addressed my concerns about the dumpster damaging my driveway (something that happened in the past when I used a different dumpster company). The dumpster they delivered was also in very good condition unlike the other company's. The delivery drivers went out of their way to place it perfectly. One week later they picked it up along with all my junk and my driveway is intact. Would definitely use their services again! read more

Friendly, courteous, and excellent customer service. Also, they could be reached at pretty much any hour of the day or night and change plans on the fly. Highly recommended. read more

I highly recommend this company. This review comes a little delayed; but it was very important to me that I give props for a job well done. Very responsive and when we had a minor incident, they were out on Easter Sunday immediately to rectify the situation and even accommodated us further. Thank you, Golden Box. You came through during a very stressful move and we appreciate you!! read more

Zero stars!!!!!!Don't use Golden Box dumpster. I would put zero stars, but on here you have to put at least 1 to post review. They allowed someone else to make charges on my credit card. I'm so pissed, but I'm taking care of it my own way! They will make charges and changes to your account and tell you, "oh well." Not ok, I'm not gonna put up with that sh*t!! read more

I shopped around and no body elsewasas flexible as these guys. WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. They were r right ON TIME to drop off and pick up. I will recommend them to anyone looking for dumpster rental. I am now a huge fan!! read more

If you've ever moved, you know one of the final headaches of getting unpacked & settled is getting rid of the all the boxes and trash that piles up. I contacted Golden Box Dumpster Services via Yelp last week and they gave me a VERY reasonable quote for the amount of stuff we had in our yard- other companies quoted in the $400 range. Golden Box quoted less than HALF! After some back and forth, we decided on a whim to request their services. I thought we would have to wait a few days at least- BUT NO! They got the job done SAME DAY. In less than an hour. And now I have a huge weight (and potential all-day chore) off my shoulders. Our front yard looks amazing! Not only did they take the empty boxes and trash, they cleaned up the entire area...not a scrap in sight! The team was also very communicative and prompt. I HIGHLY recommend! read more

We hired them for the 30 cubic yard dumpster. They were the cheapest dumpster for that size of the quotes we received. There were other companies that were slightly cheaper for the small dumpsters, but after seeing the condition of the dumpsters on their yelp pages, I was really impressed with Golden Box. Their dumpsters don't look gross or rusted, like some of the other companies dumpsters do. I didn't want a gross looking dumpster parked in our driveway for a week. Golden Box's dumpsters are bright yellow, and look relatively new. Our dumpster arrived quick and easy. Very simple to book. read more

Beware! These guys will charge you more money afterwards! I ordered a 20 yard box for $485. These guys brought a 30 yard box then charge me $85 more weeks later, saying it was overweight. When the driver delivered the dumpster and pointed out that it was a 30 yard instead of a 20 yard he said go ahead and fill it up just not go over the top. When I called about the additional charge, they said they were charging me the weight of a 20 yard box. When I explained that they were the ones who brought the 30 yard box and there's no way a customer is going to know the weight difference, they basically said that's too bad. read more

Amazing service! The truck stopped by in 30 mins after I received a quote and got rid of all the junk. Will use them again. Highly recommend. read more

I called around for pricing as our family needed a small dumpster for general trash and a bit of garden plants. The price we got from Golden Box made me very happy and apparently lower than most places I called. They were also friendly on the phone and delivered the box on time as promised. I had so many questions as this was my first time renting one of these dumpsters and they patiently answered each of the question. Hope you guys will keep up the good work. read more

Got back to me immediately..even though I haven't used them yet I had a lot of questions and they were very responsive..much appreciated!

Great services!!! They have the best price in town with prompt services and friendly customer service. It can't get any better! A+++++++++ I was in need of a 10 yard dumpster to clean up my junks in my back yard. I called them to get a quote, and Minh was super friendly, honest, and helped me to get the right size of the dumpster with the junks that I need to get rid of. He guided me through everything, from the type of my junks, to the size and weight of the dumpster that I needed, and even to where to put the dumpster so I can easily load them into it. The whole process was fast and smooth, and they even dropped the bin the same day as well, at the exact spot on my driveway!! I got to keep it with no charge for 7 days, but that's all the time that I needed it for. A week later, they came to pick it up. Trang, the driver, is very nice. He even helped me to load the fridge to the dumpster, which I was gonna leave behind because it was too heavy for me and my wife!! Thanks again Golden Box!! You guys are the best read more

The service was good. They were responsive and the dumpster was delivered on time. But after they took the dumpster away, I received an additional bill for $500. I was told the additional weight was 5 tons on top of the 2 ton included. It's impossible for a dumpster of that size to hold 7 tons for the kind of material. When asked, Golden Box passed the buck onto the dumping yard and the dumping yard "manager" was very defensive and did not provide the weigh station certification or any additional information. The weigh ticket was just typed up numbers and not an automated machine prinout. I ended up paying over a $1000. Complete rip-off. Next step is to lodge a complaint with the county office. read more
