Recently my sister ordered a dumpster and they picked it up 8 hours before the designated time which between the hours of 2pm-5pm. This caused us essentially a full day's work lost. I chopped the mishap up to miscommunication and left it at that. More recently, I ordered a 30yd dumpster for my mother. I gave Nguyen my credit card info the day of the order. The box was dropped off as agreed upon, however I received two voicemails 3 days later requesting my credit card info again. I attempted to return both calls - the first time I was hung up on, the second, I was put on hold for over 45 minutes. The next day as I am taking in the trash cans, I was greeted by a young man attempting to take away the dumpster! Mind you, my order was for two full weeks, not 4 days. I again attempted to call customer service and was put on hold. The pickup guy was able to get a response on his first attempt w/out any issue. I am gravely disappointed in how this was situation was handled. Especially since we use their services so frequently. I wasn't informed about an issue with payment until after delivery, nor they inform me that they would be picking up the dumpster early. If only they we be more prompt in answering phones as they are in picking up dumpsters.

When I called her back she scheduled for a Monday Drop off of a 40 yard dumpster on Monday. I called the Thursday before the reschedule drop off to see if we could schedule for Wednesday due to rain. She said sure no problem. I said the same time is fine. Wednesday rolled around and no dumpster, I waited for it to come in the two hour window. I had workers scheduled. I called her to find out if they were running late. She told me no dumpster was scheduled for today and that I was supposed to call her to confirm. I was shocked and said No! I said Wednesday same time. She argued with me and admitted she should have called to confirm, but that I can't talk to her like that and I could have my money back. (Buy the way she insisted on full payment up front before even scheduling it) I told her no I needed the dumpster so she said well you can get it tomorrow. I was not happy but said ok. Then Thursday rolls around and I had rescheduled my help to come at 11 am. She had scheduled a delivery between 8-10 am. I called at 9am just to make sure we didn't have a misunderstanding she acted like I was bothering g her and it would come within the agreed time. 10:30 no dumpster, I called Andrea and said... it's passed the window and I hired workers to come and there is no dumpster. She said with a tone "it will come sometime today" I was infuriated that she couldn't keep her commitment once again. My workers rolled up at 11 and we had no dumpster and they were expecting to work and be paid. Finally at 11:30 the dumpster showed up. Now today a week later I see another charge for $250 on top of the $800. I called to find out what the charge was and she said 5 mattresses and two refrigerators. This was not accurate and she said too bad. No credit and no recourse. DO NOT USE A&J dumpsters unless you don't care about professionalism, timely delivery, following through on commitments or accuracy or accountability.
