I had every intention of rating these guys high, but the person I had been texting/communicating with lacks major customer service skills. I've asked for a simple receipt(should have received one without asking) 3 times and each time he said he'd get it to me and then nothing. The dumpster was initially late by 3+ hours because of a flat tire and I have to continually try and get status. He never answered the phone and took forever to respond to my texts. I then asked him to pick the dumpster up on a Mon(he asked for my address which I thought was odd) and then never responded to confirm. Monday afternoon I texted asking if the dumpster was picked up, he said no it would be at 8AM the next morning. I informed the property owner and she said it had already been picked up that morning. This guy doesn't have a clue what's going on. It pains me to write a bad review as I gave Bay Dumpster plenty opportunity to rectify its poor and timely service. When you order a dumpster, they are timely when inquiring whether you need to order another dumpster at $640+ per dumpster (for 20 cubic ft). I can understand them wanting to have customers order another dumpster which I did. I filled the 2nd dumpster and did not need a 3rd dumpster. When I notified them that I didn't need another dumpster and told them my dumpster was ready for pick up they assured me they would come pick it up. This was on Monday. It is now Saturday, and the dumpster remains sitting on my property. After repeated efforts to contact the company, they finally responded on Thursday for me not to worry that they would come by in the afternoon and pick it up. They were a no show and haven't responded to any of my text messages requesting that they come pick up their dumpster. I gave them good business in good faith and they have not followed through in completing what I paid for them to take their dumpster away. So my warning to others is that this company is unreliable and doesn't follow through with what they promise to do. I have to say the truck driver "Victor" who delivered the dumpsters and picked up the first one was very cordial and did his job well. SCAM! I booked a dumpster a week in advance and he charged my card upon requesting the dumpster. I hired multiple workers, machinery etc in preparation for the dumpster rental. On the day of service he NO CALL, NO SHOWED me! He made me lose thousands of dollars. I finally got a hold of him half-way through the work day. He told me there was nothing he could be do for me and said, "go ahead and sue me, I don't care". I told him to give me a refund and he agreed. 10 days later, no refund. Joined Yelp just to write this review. Called on a Monday to get a 20 cu yd dumpster. They took payment that day. Soonest delivery was Thursday, with a 10am delivery time. Thursday morning came, no dumpster. Contacted them to get an ETA. They promised no later than 3pm. 3pm came, no dumpster. Contacted them again, they said they would check the status and call back. They never called. I tried calling back, but phone goes to voicemail. Ghosted me. This company has NO INTEGRITY. If you can't deliver, just say you can't. Stop wasting your clients time. They only thing they were able to do expeditiously was run my credit card authorization. Side Note: When I was texting them to fill out the contract on Monday, dispatch send me a text thinking I was someone else. He then called me and I made sure to let him know I had just placed an order ( I wasn't the client he was texting with.) I think he was still confused. I should have took that as a sign to not do business with them. Second Side Note: I originally thought I was dealing with Bay Area Dumpster, who I intended to do business with. After further investigation, I noticed that I had unintentionally called Bay Dumpster. They were listed first in a Google Search for "Bay Area Dumpster" (I thought they were one in the same....They are not.) Looks like most of these other reviews had the same experience I did. If I could give it a 0 star I would!!! The drop off day, they said they would come at 10am. 1pm passed by and no calls, no updates. I've called the first time at 1:30 and the owner answered the phone saying he'll check with the driver and will call us back. 20 mins passed by, noone called back. So I called back and of course, he did not answer his phone. I called 2 more times and nothing. Very unprofessional. After a while of checking to see if anyone called, my husband finally told me a guy finally called and said he'll be here at 4pm. Then Friday came and I called them early in the morning and able to get someone on the phone just to have them told me that their truck broke down! Are you serious?!! What does that even mean? So ur telling me the whole company has only 1 truck??? So when r u going to pick it up??? The guy apologized and I was very understanding so I gave them the benefits of the doubt. He said his hands are tied. He sounded frustrated. Maybe he's really busy. I told him that is fine. As long as he can get it out of there by early Saturday morning because it's my daughter's 1st birthday celebration and We need the dumpster out of the yard so we can clean up. He promised to try to get it out on Friday night, latest is Saturday morning at 6am or 7am. Right now it is 7:16 am and i am very upset! I am having a very bad experience with Bay Dumpster. I ordered a dirt box from them and was told the box will be delivered between 12-1 pm Wednesday, a few days later. The box didn't come around that time. I called them wondering why and was told it would be at my home at 3 or 4 pm. At 4pm still no box. Called again and was told it would be delivered next day at 10 am. At that time I already had big machinery waiting to dump the dirt. Called them to cancel. All of sudden they could deliver it at 8 am next day, which would still be too late for my needs. I was told it would be very difficult to cancel but I insisted it and they finally did it. Since then I have been trying to get refund but after 16 days they still haven't done it yet. Avoid this company at all cost. In the meantime, I will keep calling them about the refund. read more

Superb service and excellent pricing! I used Bay Dumpsters to help me with my huge house remodel. For 6 weeks, I was filling and requesting unloads and dumpster returns. The folks at Bay dumpsters bent over backwards to help me get everything I need whenever I needed it. I got 24 hour service on last minute emergancy requests, even after hours help! I even called when they were closed to ask them to remove the dumpster to accommodate a change in the schedule of a photo shoot of my house. They called people on their days off to come help me. They had the dumpster removed in 3 hours! These guys are THE BEST MOST FRIENDLY SERVICE. I am so happy I worked with them. They had better pricing than the competition and service was superb. They were the similar price to some other companies however they responded quicker and more precise. They answered my yelp questions ASAP and were even able to deliver the dumpster soon.
