Today I was driving down 880 South around 9:40 AM and their truck had debris flying out of the bed. I had 2 rocks hit my windshield, resulting in a crack and long scratch. I honked at the driver to get his attention when I was on the side of his window. He made eye contact with me and kept driving. The logo was clearly visible under the driver side window. Once I got to my destination, I called Evergreen and left a voicemail message re damage and gave a description of the driver. About 30 minutes later, a woman called me back, yelling at me, insisting it could not be Evergreen's truck and asking how I knew the driver had brown hair and brown eyes-I stated I made eye contact with him. She then asked me to provide a photo of the driver of the truck to authenticate my claim. Of course since I was driving I was unable to take a picture of the driver. Why would you call me back to yell at me? Horrible business practices all around. read more

Stay away from this shady establishment. We received the absolute worst service from Mai here. My mom quickly chose to use this place as it was urgent. She rented a dumpster for what was supposed to be 7 days. The quote was for 7 days and we were charged right before they dropped off the dumpster. Six hours later, Mai called and asked if they could pick it up. We said we still needed it for longer and that they could pick it up the next day. After they picked it up, we were charged almost an additional $200. When we called to inquire about this, Mai said normally customers don't ask questions. She said we threw 4 mattresses in the dumpster. We actually only had 1 and told her so. She said "that's what I see so that's what I charge." What kind of shady business is that????? STAY AWAY! There are plenty of other dumpster businesses in the area that provide wonderful customer service. read more

I had a very easy, positive experience with EWS. I was helping someone move from San Jose to San Diego remotely by researching junk removal services on their behalf. I got quotes from a total of 6 different companies in the San Jose area, including EWS. I chose EWS because they were pleasant, accommodating and they had the best price ($410 for a 20 yard dumpster for 7 days, including drop off and pick up). I'm very grateful that although it was a last minute request they were able to provide same day drop off! No other company was able to (which I understand because it was last minute, but it just makes me ever more thankful for EWS being so accommodating). When I called to schedule an early pick up they were more than happy to get the dumpster on a Saturday. If there is a six stars, I would give it to this Evergreen Waste Services company, the reason is I had one of my un-responsible contractor and since we had an disagreement, he dumped all the trashes and the left over all construction materials such as six toilet bowls, two big doors and.......with almost one tone of garbages all over on my vacant house, you can find the garbages at the front, side, back yards and inside the vacant house, it totally need almost a big container to empty it. However, I called and reported to San Jose Police Department. Since I am not resident in San Jose which is the property located, I went on line and search for Waste Services company to help me clean up this mess, I had called four or five different quotes from different companies. Finally I found this Evergreen Waste Services which quoted me the very best reasonable price compared to the rest, In addition,The worker in the office named Mai was serving me in a very professional manner, she understood my frustration by being other people dumped trash into my property, she insured me that she would treat my problem as her own problem, she is kind and very professionalism. On the same day, a few hours later, she went to my vacant house and examined the damage, she took some photos and want me to me see how bad it was on the site since I was not in the area at that time and by not wasting time at all, she immediately instructed her workers to clean up my house in a short time period.Later the day, the on site manager named Vinh even took some AFTER pictures for me by allowing me to see the difference between, BEFORE and AFTER. you can judge by yourself the difference on these attached pictures. it's an ok experience. they are on time. But they gave me a 20-yard dumpster when i required a 30-yard dumpster. They communicated well and said would love to change a 30-yard dumpster. But my contractor has put the construction garbage in the dumpster, and they required my contractor to throw out the 20-yard dumpster. It's easy to dump things, but not easy to get them out. Eventually, we kept the 20-yard one and received over charge bc of over weight. It's a communicative company, but we just felt the company so inhumanity when they required to throw out things to get a new one. Well, I am also running a business, and I don't think I would train my employee like that. It's very disappointing. I don't like review a company less than 3 starts, business is tough now. read more
