A word of advice before anyone decides to do business with this company. READ THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS!! Don't want to pay for a Garbage/Junk bin and not be allowed to throw garbage or junk in the container. Different bins are allowed certain things only, otherwise get charged substantially more then the upfront cost. Believe was done intentionally to confuse and exploit the customers for cash. Not allowed to throw dirt in some bin, no food waste in others, while other bins you can't throw wood , but dirt is okay, but no shrubs and leaves, no electronics in certain bins but but wood is okay, no paint in some bins but electronics are okay but wood is bad, while dirt is okay. .... Get the picture? Left with no choice but to rent a container for each things. Rent a container just for dirt a container just for appliances, and another container just for shrubs etc. LMAO!! read more

I called Eco Box, spoke to Bernie (the owner) got an estimate, and was scheduled for a delivery. It was a piece of cake if you will. But Matt is the best! He met more than one of our accomodations. For instance we needed an extension on our dumpster and Matt made it easy and painless in setting us up with a few extra days! Tony at Eco Box Recycling is easy to work with and his drivers are solid as well. I asked for the box to be put on the lawn and the driver double checked with me to tell me what could happen at pickup. I was fine with it and he didn't have to check but appreciate he did. I was scheduled to have the box from Friday to Thursday but realized on Saturday I would be done and ready for pickup on Monday. This morning I ordered a 20 cubic yard debris box to discard my old kitchen and tons of construction trash. The ordering process was very much straight forward: 1. Visit the website for the container size. Look at your trash and do the math. 2. Placed my order over the phone with Melissa. 3. The next morning, they delivered the debris box (the driver was very friendly). 4. We filled the debris box. I love breaking my old kitchen into pieces. 5. And now they are scheduled to pick up next week. Pointers: 1. Make sure you have a good idea on how much trash you're discarding. This is ideal for homeowners that are working on remodeling and construction. 2. Stage all your trash the day before. This makes it easier to round up your family and friends to load up the box. Good old fashion family bonding! 3. Spring cleaning. I found myself discarding other items around the house and yard. Now it feels good to have so much open spaces. Cost: $330.00 for 20 cubic yard debris box. They will leave the box in front of your house for a week (you can request for early pick-up). My neighbor hired a local landscaping company to demo and remove a patio and brick bbq. They used Eco Box Recycling. When the driver arrived to remove their curbside box, I heard the vehicle backing up and a loud "crack"! The Eco Box truck had struck a 10 inch diameter branch of our 25 year old Camphor tree at the curb strip, leaving a deep gash. My neighbor who saw and also heard the crack, told me that the Eco Box driver got out, looked at the damage to the tree from the truck's over the cab exhaust then exclaimed "oh shit!" I spoke with the driver to let him know the tree was hit and damaged. He said the tree is not damaged. I showed him the damaged branch to which he waved his hand, which I interpreted as sign to go away. I attempted to speak further with the driver. He was uncooperative and unapologetic. I asked for his name to which he replied "I don't have to provide it". I requested his managers name. He was silent. I requested his companies phone number and he pointed to the door of the truck. Now my neighbor and his wife, and my wife are standing in the driveway watching the driver winch the box onto the truck and drive off. I called the number from the truck, but no answer. I called the number on the Eco Box and spoke with Bernie who requested pictures be texted to him. Within minutes of receiving the pictures, Bernie called to apologize. The moral of this story: Accidents happen. What is done after an accident or mistake is what counts. 5 stars for Bernie 0 stars for their representative- the Driver. Our neighborhood association rented 2 40 cu ECOBOX dumpsters for a neighborhood dumpster day. I spoke and made arrangements with Matt. I was alerted to the materials that were allowed, not allowed, & those that would incur a fee to dump. The dumpsters were delivered clean (!) by time promised by very nice drivers who dropped them where requested. We kept the dumpsters overnight with only one person chugging a huge desk over the top of one dumpster...(even when locked up- strong neighbors!!).
