They sent it to the wrong place and it took almost 3 months to get the repair done, the whole time we had no hot water. I called over and over and kept being told the manager was working on it. Then it went to an AI voicemail service. I went to their office and found it is a vacant office. I had someone else call and they answered for a while but still no part. Then she was sent to the AI voicemail- clearly dodging our calls. I finally had to call from a 3rd phone and they said they would overnight the part. Didn't happen. Two weeks and 3 calls later, they got the part, but charged us $532 where the part should have been under warranty. He said it was because he had to pay for the part that should have been free. If they had ordered the part to them in the first place that wouldn't have happened. I would have just gone with someone else, but the part had to be ordered by the company that ordered it apparently. They are having me send the payment to someone's home instead of an office. Clearly that's because they don't have one and why they didn't have the parts sent to them. Be wary!

I called this company due the reviews. they came promptly and proceeded to pump my septic tank, which I admit was overdue. when that didn't seem to fix the problem they Hydro jetted the main drain. Having told me on the phone that theyWould jet the drainfield I was surprised that he decided to leave the tank excavated with the lid off to supposedly save me money when I had to call them back because my system was failing. Being a senior citizen and a widow I felt I was being treated this way because I wouldn't know any different. I consulted some friends that have had a lot of issues with their Septic system. And they were shocked to hear they left it excavated and with all the rain. It was first of February. They advised me to call and have them come back and jet the drainfieldand then come then cover the system back up. It had been left open for approximately 2 1/2 weeks and surprise surprise after the drainfield was jetted the system was working fine, so now five months later it's running like a top and I'm surprised to see that I get a letter from the Pierce County health department that I was turned in for a violation reason Septic failure. The guy who told me all the stuff about it failing videoed it before it was jetted when it wasn't quite up to par. And of course he did not come with the guys He sent to do the job so he did not observe the fact that it was running fine. There's so many five star views on this company. I'm sorry to have to say this these things, but I am in the middle of trying to prove that I don't need $30,000 septic system at this time. I'm sure drain beast isn't gonna help me pay for it! very unethical considering I should've been notified in advance not get the letter five months later. From the Pierce County health department I believe this is the drain beast that's from the Puyallup area. It was Harmon I talked to on the phone. For Pacific Trenchless aka Budget Sewer Inc. - Another plumbing company came out to address a…read morebackup in our basement sink but ran into trouble getting the snake through due to roots and debris. After running a camera, they identified a serious blockage. To clear it, they said it would require cutting a hole in the deck, digging down 9 feet over an 8-foot stretch, and quoted $12,500 just to clear the blockage. If the pipe was in bad condition, they recommended installing a sleeve--if salvageable--or potentially replacing the pipe entirely, which would cost significantly more. I decided to get four bids, and they varied widely, ranging from a few thousand to over $22,000. These estimates included clearing the blockage and, in some cases, adding a sleeve. Budget Sewer gave a fair initial quote that didn't include the sleeve, but once they opened things up, it was clear the sleeve was necessary. I ended up paying just over $14,600, and I believe it was a fair price for the work done. They started at 7:45 a.m. on a Tuesday and finished by 10 a.m. Thursday. They did an excellent job removing and reinstalling the deck--something none of the other bids included--and left the area clean and looking just as it did before they started. I would absolutely recommend Aiden and his team. They were punctual, hardworking, and very professional throughout the entire process.

Was it because I got ahead of the game and had it replaced proactively? Possibly, but I have a feeling pacfic trenchless/budget sewer is just a good outfit. Multiple friends and neighbors have had to have their side sewers repaired and time and time I've been regaled with horror stories; bills well into five figures, escalating prices once the job is underway, broken concrete walkways, yards destroyed. I see further evidence of that walking around the neighborhood. However-- These guys obviously know what they are doing. The sod was neatly removed--and stacked--from where they dug the hole in my front lawn now the job has been completed you can barely tell the lawn was disturbed because they knew how to put it back in order. To access the cast iron exiting the house everyone (including Aiden when we walked the job) wanted to break through the walkway and patch. However once the crew started work they were able to excavate next to and then under the walkway, prop it up from underneath and did their work so you can't tell anything happened. At the end of each day they left the job site nicely organized--and as clean as holes in the ground can be. No shiny new trucks, no advertising, and not a plumbing company. These guys aren't flashy but are experts in their field.

At a restaurant do you like paying or filet minion and getting Hamburger Helper? Do you enjoy having calls and e-mails not returned? Do you believe reaching out to the Better Business Bureau is a necessary step to get issues resolved? If so, Double K/7 hills Plumbing is the outfit you ought to choose! I used Double K/7 Hills Plumbing to install a ductless HVAC system at my primary residence. For several winters my Great Room split/head seemed to run constantly during the winter and failed to properly heat the room. Upon some routine cleaning I took a look and found out 7 Hills had installed a 12" head for the room instead of the 15" head that was invoiced (and paid for). Supposed to be: CTXS15LVJU (Daiken) Was installed: FTXX12LVJU (Daiken) Upon discovering this issue I reached out to Double K/7 Hills Plumbing, including the owner (Derek) who was the one who designed, invoiced, and accepted payment on the system. Three weeks of voicemails and e-mails yielded not only no resolution, but no response (queue song "No Reply At All" by Genesis). Level of service/support has been so atrocious a BBB claim has been filed: ID 14265371. This is a step, despite using dozens of contractors/suppliers for my primary residence and rentals, I have never once had to previously take given that I'm pretty understanding/flexible in coming to arrangements on these kinds of situations. Bottom line, use this business at your own risk. Problems/accidents happen. That said when calls and e-mails spread over weeks aren't returned by the Owner, that's not an "accident" that's a deliberate attempt to avoid standing by a product/install and speaks to character. -AC
