After big flashy competition quoted $3,500 for clogged drain and alleged upside down 30yo plumbing under sink and needed to dig into cabinets and drywall of 2nd story condo, I called AA plumbing and the master tech Gabe & partner Alberto discovered issue was much farther down the drain without even opening the wall. An extremely tough situation did not deter them as they used unusual roof vent and determination to access kitchen pipe and successfully cleared drain after numerous attempts. I initially had this crew out to install a new sewer line and replace an exterior hose bib that had split. I had this job quoted many years ago by a different company, so given inflation and supply chain issues, AA Plumbing's quote was higher, but not unreasonably so. When I met with Curtis I just had a really good feeling, and went with my gut. So glad I did. Their team was polite, thorough, and able to get that job done in two days. Approximately three weeks later, I was having my crawlspace cleaned, re-sealed, and re-insulated. That crew noticed a leak from one of my drain pipes; AA Plumbing was able to come out the same day to take a look and then back at the end of the week to do a complete repair. I opted to have all the lines redone since my house is old and I felt like the quote on that job was also a fair price. It turns out a bit of debris was left under the house from that repair and when they were called about the issue they responded immediately, the same day, to rectify the situation. Our shared sewer line that was "patched up" since it was laid (not sure when that was, but our house and our neighbors house was built in 1910), needed to be completely torn out and replaced due to issues with root balls clogging up and destroying the line. I checked out YELP and looked for highly rated Plumbers in our area and called AA Plumbing. This was kismet because I could not have asked for a better experience with a Plumbing company. Curtis made time to come out the same day I called, and ran a camera up the line. While delivering the bad news about the fix, he alleviated the pain by pointing out that the line was clearly shared with my neighbor and that he should also pony up for the repair. Not only did Curtis contact my neighbor directly to discuss the issue and fix, but he also later met up with him to run another camera to prove the fix was needed and it was indeed a shared line. I had many questions throughout the process and Curtis extremely responsive with my calls and texts. On top of ALL that, their work was timely, impeccable and an extremely fair (almost too good to be true). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND giving them a call for all of your plumbing needs. read more

I needed to get my sewage line fixed and had a plumber come out. The first plumber couldn't get it done and needed a longer line so we had a second plumber come in. That's where AA plumbing came in. Curtis came and hydro jetted my line and still said he couldn't get it undone claiming there was a belly in my line. He then gave me a quote $18,000 to tear up my sewage line and fix my sewage line. But Curtis never put a camera down my line to confirm that there was a belly in my line. After questioning the process and Curtis finding out another plumber was coming to look at the line. He hightailed it to my house to put a camera down my line. After he did this he called to say that he got the line cleaner than expected but, while on the phone I heard sloshing to find out he was standing in a puddle of water in my basement where I informed him a drain was located. So after he unclogged the drain in the basements he said everything was running again. AA plumbing gave us a wrong quote attempting to charge us for construction that could have been avoided if Curtis had scopes the line first in attempt to find a belly. Be careful with this company and if you do go with them make sure to ask a lot of questions on what's wrong with your plumbing because they will try and take advantage of you. read more

I feel like AA Plumbing completely took advantage of me and my situation. My hot water tank pilot light would not stay lit--apparently an easy fix by replacing the thermocouple which was exactly the problem. AA Plumbing told me the charges would be $253 for the thermocouple which when added to their $69 service fee + taxes would be a total of $350. Yikes. $253 seemed a little high for a thermocouple and when I called him on it he looked at me like I was from another planet. Anyway, given I'm a woman and know nothing about hot water tanks I agreed and he replaced the part which took all of 10 minutes. Next day, after doing some more research, I discover that the thermocouple retails for only ~$15 wholesale. Yeah, about a 1500% mark-up! After calling another plumber, who would have charged me $30 for the part, I realized I got totally swindled. This was a good lesson for me that I should have followed my instincts and sent him away. But alas, I was anxious to have hot water again since I had visitors staying at my house. Beware of this vendor! read more

Really nice guys, came out and gave me a quote promptly. Quote was reasonable and around what others had quoted, I decided to hire them because they were so nice and even told me how to fix a few issues myself to save me money! They were able to come out to do the repair within the week. Stayed under their max estimate even though there ended up being a bigger issue that they discovered after fixing the two leaks (main stack had rusted away and was leaking through the cast iron) and they quickly fixed that while they were here.
