Absolutely terrible service, I was trying to explain to the woman working in the front that CarMax said to just bring my car in and if they had questions they can call CarMax, and she actually looked me in the face and said "I don't know if you can hear me but" Like excuse me? Absolutely deplorable and nasty attitude, I walked right out and didn't even get my service done, I would rather a better company get my money. A terrible service, waiting more than two hours for them not to do their job properly. I had to go back to complain about the poor service, where your car is supposed to have the steering wheel straight so the alignment doesn't move, but the alignment was crooked and according to them the car is fine. They are supposed to provide a printed report of the BEFORE and AFTER of the four tires, whichever machine, it should print the result, and how is it possible that if the manager requires it, they say the printer doesn't work... Are they working with damaged and inadequate machinery? I don't know how Costco and other companies work with those guys, poor service. read more

Took 5 hours to give me a diagnosis of my car and I know it only have one problem with one of the wheels rotor, caliper or break pad. They ended up telling me that I need to change both sides lower control arm, both sides lower reward control and both sides lower ball joint but last time I went there for an oil change around 2 or 3 weeks ago they told me the car doesn't need anything to get fix or replace. read more

This establishment is terrible I went in for an oil change and an alignment, no problem right?? Wrong the oil change was performed and then I waited an additional hour just for them to come out and say oh we cannot perform an alignment due to a seized tie rod. Okay no problem I get the bill and they tried to charge me an "alignment check" fee when all he did was look and see it was seized I never requested an alignment check, I did request an alignment however. Not to mention the oil change was done in 20 min great but the technician which is also the owner was running back and forth doing other things on other vehicles. Therefore my vehicle sat there for over an hour not being touched and then he has the audacity to try and charge me an alignment check fee. When I approached him about it in a calm manner he began yelling and arguing along side of his daughter who works up front at the desk he kept screaming and screaming telling me I needed to know this and I needed to know that. He was upset that I told him I was never made aware that if an alignment is unable to be done that I would be charged an alignment check fee. He didn't like that and said that I was somehow supposed to know and that he doesn't and didn't have to tell me anything. Long story short stay away from this establishment this owner is a hot head who has no respect whatsoever and is upset that he is the only mechanic working in his shop he needs to work on his customer service skills especially as the owner of the establishment and needs to learn how to accommodate a customers needs and request in a professional manner rather then in a rude and disrespectful matter. I also must mention that I have brought multiple cars to this establishment in the past and when I brought that up the owner tells me that he doesn't care if you don't come back, this man has no customer appreciation whatsoever stay away!! I will never bring my business here ever again shame on you German do better. I hope this review helps others stay away from this place. read more

I do NOT recommend Lakeview Auto Corp in Clifton, New Jersey. Be very CAREFUL when you take your car there. I dropped off my car at Lakeview Auto with a full tank of gas and the odometer reading of 139451. To my surprise, when I picked up my car, the gas tank was completely empty and the odometer read 139605. They drove my car without my permission for 154 miles. Be AWARE of your odometer. Lucky , they did not get into an accident, if so, I would have been the one sued! Be careful. They do NOT admit what they did. They say the silliest phony excuses, oh dear. They are reckless and irresponsible. They need to adhere to the consequences, especially when joy riding their customers' cars. read more

This place had to be the worst place ever. First and for most this man Germin the manager was very rude and has a nasty attitude, second his prices are outragous. Ive gotten my air conditoner repair and got over priced and changed parts that didnt even need to be changed and lastly I come back again for a diagnostics one day and he tells me to come back the next day cuz it was already to late, that i should come by noon. I did just that then he gives me an attitude telling me im late that he told me to come in the morning and also says im sorry for your misunderstanding i never told you that. Overall worst customer service experience i ever had wasted so much time with this dude and he wont even work with you, he'll charge you double or triple what the part is normally plus his ridiculous labor fee. Went here today to check out a Subaru. Before going here I looked into most of the other vehicles on the lot and their carfax histories all checked out clean. Spoke with Keith who is the lead mechanic on site and he is a really down to earth guy. The people here are approachable and seem very honest. The vehicle I test drove seemed to be in very good condition; smooth transmission and a decent sounding engine. Considering buying from these guys and I would definitely get regular service here if I lived closer. read more

Who charges $75 for a car diagnostics fee? Not even popping the hood, just for hooking a computer up. Nobody mentioned the fee until I picked up my car. There was ample opportunity from when I made the appointment to when I dropped off the car to let me know. Definitely not getting work done here after that experience. read more

Wonderful staff and very detailed with their work. I've been coming to Germin for the past ten years and let me say he is the best. Very honest and will work with you on scheduling and pricing. I learned the hard way that many of the mechanics in the area with the exception of him are nothing but crooks and are looking to get over. If you want detailed and reliable service go see him.
