Honest old school mechanics. The owner is a gentleman who doesn't overcharge or suggest work that is not needed. I just took my vintage BMW in for an oil change today and couldn't be happier. In and out quickly and I noticed the mechanic even took the time to inflate my back tires a bit, reattached one of my hood struts, and pulled an oil sample for me to send to Blackstone labs for analysis. I had an issue with my AC. Driver side was blowing out warm air while passenger side was blowing out cold air when it was set on AC mode. Brought it in without an appointment and they took in my car right away. Within few hours he called and let me know that the temperature control sensor on the driver side wasn't working and needed to be replaced. The part had to be ordered n delivered for the next day. Only good thing is I don't have to drive daily to work. So within very next day he replaced the part and got my car back in working condition. Taka, Yoshie and staff are excellent, they are honest, they do first class work, they are true craftsmen and they treat my car like they would treat thier own. They did brakes and rotors and rotor on my 2010 Lexus RX350, perfect!! They worked on my honda repairing a broken strut, replaced an alternator, conrtol arms, serviced a leaky valve cover gasket, worked on a challenging brake system repair and replaced an antenna (yes it's an old car). Fantastic! I needed a throttle body replacement. He diagnosed the issue w/ in 10 mins of me arriving, I got the name of the part.c purchased it @ autozone, & he fixed everything in an hour and a 1/2. He also plugged my tire, which was previously pesky and & constantly deflating. The best bit is the honesty. The hourly prices are posted when you walk into the office for you to see. If you bring the parts they only charge you for the labor. The mechanics are such nice guys. I used to go to Honda dealers for my 2007 Accord and the dealers always want to sell more services. I do not feel such "pressure" at Saeilo. Another thing to mention is that they do not have a cozy spot for customers to hang around during the repair work, but in some ways this is why you will not be charged too much at dealership. Saeilo fixed my Accord hard to start engine problem which a local Honda dealer cannot handle (I spent 600+ dollars to replace starter but still they problem lingers). Just recently moved back to NJ, and my car needed an oil change. Came here because of the high ratings and location. The owner and son gave the car a check and noticed that the right taillight wasn't working. He ordered a new OEM part, but it didn't show up. So, I suggested that a used part be used instead (it's an old car). Once it arrived, it was installed quickly. And, he gave me a couple car tips also. He answered phones when I called for status. Seemed like both owner and son pay a lot of attention to details, which is great. This is a small garage, almost hidden by a gas station. I've always been treated fairly here. When I go to some of the bigger chains for service (meineke, midas, etc.) its a mixed bag. Sometimes they are fair, sometimes it feels like they are trying to squeeze every dollar they can get out of you. With Taka, I feel like he goes out of his way to save me money. The service was excellent, honest, and efficient. We were a little reluctant seeing the place from outside, as it looks a bit rundown. But so glad for Yelpers showing us the sparkle of such diamonds in the rough. We got synthetic oil change, which was reasonably priced. And since we recently moved from out of state, we needed the new plates fixed and old plates removed. They did that for us for free. At the end, Mr. Taka also presented us with a unique pen with a small flashlight, just as a token of appreciating us as new customer!
