This place is hands down my favorite place in the whole of Baton Rouge, LA! Who doesn't want a 5lb bucket of crawfish? My husband and I ate one bucket each, which might sound like a lot but it was absolutely perfect. The crawfish are full of meat and taste amazingly fresh. We loved them so much that we tried to go multiple times whilst in the area. The Daiquiri's are also brilliant, and at 100 proof we only needed on each to have a good time. Along with our buckets of crawfish we also had a pitcher of purple haze beer which was refreshing and a great companion to our little crawdads. If you find yourself in Baton Rouge you have to get yourself here because you won't find value, atmosphere, or quality like it anywhere else!

Came to Lakeside for the Tuesday night free crawfish and didn't complain! There is a $15 cover and you get free drinks and 3 lbs. of crawfish from 8-10 PM! Great deal and delicious crawfish.

this is outside of the bar and there is little to none as far as lighting is concerned

No longer smoky, still best crawfish in Baton Rouge. Great pricing on crawfish and beverages to go with your crawfish. Win-win.

It's our beloved crawfish season again, and they waited until the price came down a little and the crawfish got a little bigger to finally have them on sale.

I went for the lunch buffet for $13.99 and feel like the BR location def has more options than the NOLA location (I haven't been to that spot in over a year though). There are some seafood options during lunch (salt and pepper crab, salmon, assortment of fish, and mussels) but if you want a wider variety, dinner is the way to go. I didn't try the sushi because the majority of them were always wiped out but the chefs in the back were doing their best to replenish whenever they could. Nothing to extraordinary with the sushi, I feel like you could get most of em at the grocery store. My favs at lunch were hands down the salmon and the baked mussels w cheese on top. The salmon was SEASONED SO WELL and I just kept going back for more. The mussels and cheese was def a hit too bc I could see the chefs restock every so often. There's unlimited boba (not included in the buffet) and I had the mango, which tasted watered down to me. The ice cream was amazing, got a mix of the taro and mango. The cakes were extremely dry and the mousse was the only thing saving it from totally crumbling in my mouth. For the most part, the food was piping hot, but there were a few options that were cold when I ate them, hence the 4 stars. The staff were incredibly sweet and would clean tables immediately after someone would leave.

There are only about 5 golf simulators, but a big bar with tons of bar like seating and TVs everywhere. This would be a great place to watch a sports game or to come to enjoy the atmosphere if you don't want to do the gold simulators. We sat at a high top and were able to watch tv and watch some parties golf. From where we were sitting, the golf simulators offer more than golf. There were so many things you could do, and each simulator had there own area/cubby, so that was nice if you wanted to do that. I thought the service could have been better. First, they had to start a tab when you order, which I understand for this atmosphere. Tip is already included when you pay. Because it is still new, we didn't mind that the service was slow. The food and drinks were great bar food. Delicious! We got the mozz sticks, chicken Caesar wrap, and the hot honey chicken sandwich. It was all great portions and very good. I also got the strawberry mojito, which I ended up getting another one because it was so good. Will definitely be back!

They staved off an eviction nearly a decade ago and have somehow managed to stick around for a total of nearly 7 decades. Dearman's is the last legit diner in the city. The interior is a trip back in time. The spacious dining room is complete with retro furniture, checkered floors, and old school artwork that feels like something out of the 1950s. The decor screams pure Americana and is one of the biggest draws for the many patrons that come through daily. My favorite part is their juicy burgers. Pair it with their crispy fries and their old school milkshakes, and one has a complete meal. The burgers are hearty, and the portions are substantial. They also have salads, other sandwiches (tuna is my go-to), and various options for loaded fries. The other awesome part are the prices. Minus the double cheeseburger, there are no items that exceed $10 on the entire menu. The staff is young and always enthusiastic, and they play a big part in making this place such a destination. It is group / kid-friendly, and an ideal lunch spot. Orders can be placed online, but I recommend eating in for the full experience.

They were a little busy, but they had people that came in way after us, that had a reserved table and they got waited on before us and then another group of ladies came way after us and they got waited on before us. So I had to go to the counter and play dumb and ask them, do we write down our order or is somebody going to come and take our order? The guy did apologize and he did send a waitress right over. Two of us got the classic cheeseburger, which was very good and we ordered one order of sweet potato fries, which were very good. Of course I got the chocolate shake, and it was very good too. The man in our party got the hamburger steak, which was too big hamburger steaks with gravy and french fries. It also came with a salad and toast. But, they didn't bring the salad until after they brought the hamburger steak and they didn't bring the toast until he was almost finished with his meal. He said the toast was good. He said the hamburger steak was OK, but he wouldn't get it again. I will go back because the hamburger was very good. But just don't get the hamburger steak that comes with french fries, a salad and toast because you might not get the salad and toast until after you get the hamburger steak.

A True Hidden Gem - Lagniappe Steak & Seafood (Bluebonnet Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA)…read more I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lagniappe Steak & Seafood on Bluebonnet, and it is without question one of Baton Rouge's best-kept restaurant secrets. On my first visit this past Wednesday, I ordered the fried shrimp and catfish lunch special, and immediately knew this place was different. The seafood was perfectly seasoned--not overly salted or heavily breaded, just a delicate, crisp coating that highlighted the freshness and natural flavor. The servers were exceptionally professional--friendly and attentive without being overly familiar, which I truly appreciate. What took the experience to the next level was when Anas, the manager or owner, personally came out to check on my meal. She was tall, poised, and stunning--truly looked like she could walk a high-fashion runway in Paris! Her elegance and hospitality added a touch of class you just don't see often anymore. I was so impressed that I returned two days later--the day after Thanksgiving--to try the grilled pork chop I've been hearing people rave about. Let me tell you... WOW. It was phenomenal. Juicy, tender, perfectly grilled with picture-perfect char marks--honestly felt like eating a premium steak. I give it a 10/10 without hesitation. On that visit, Jennifer was my server and she was fantastic--attentive, warm, and highly professional. Now here's the part that blows people's minds: these incredible meals were part of the lunch special, priced similarly to what most folks spend at a fast-food restaurant for a two-piece combo with fries and a drink. Same price--completely different level of dining. And for those who don't know: I've traveled all over the world and I am the ultimate foodie--something my followers know well. I live for great cuisine, authentic flavor, and memorable dining experiences. So when I tell you this place is worth your time, believe me. --- When in Baton Rouge, go to Lagniappe Steak & Seafood. You will not be disappointed by the ambience, service, or the quality of the food. A genuine 5-star dining experience and without a doubt one of the finest hidden gems in the city.

They enjoyed theirs as well I think it was a variation on either pumpkin spice or chai. I was super adventurous and had the shrimp and grits. It was actually delicious although on appearance I thought was going to be too liquidy. It had a little kick to it.
