Thanksgiving items were listed at clearance at 40% off despite there were still three weeks until Thanksgiving. A lot of items didn't have prices on them or listed by them yet the staff was there to scan for prices. I was able to scan my 40% off coupon to use on a regular item. Lots of savings and sales on new Christmas items like stickers and cards. You can access coupons on the Michael's website to scan at checkout register. My favorite find was an all black journal book & pages as well as Christmas holographic silver frames on blank cards to decorate & personalize. They were 40% off on sale or with a coupon. I plan to stamp hieroglyphics in the cards. It was the first time I used a self service register at Michael's - very easy to use. I plan to visit again when prices are lowered more for clearance.

I came in looking for a card box to hold my first set of Sorcery cards and walked out with exactly what I needed. Unprofessional Intake and Appalling Customer Service at Pickup…read more I strongly advise against using the Michaels framing department. Save yourself the frustration and pay for a dedicated, professional framing boutique instead. My experience from intake to pickup has been defined by poor customer service and an absolute lack of professionalism. During the initial intake, the staff member badgered my husband about our canvas, aggressively insisting it was incorrect when it was, in fact, the exact and correct canvas intended for the frame. Today's pickup of our pre-paid art was equally appalling. When I provided my paperwork, the associate dismissively asked if anyone had called me. I pointed directly to my frame, which was completely visible right next to them with our last name clearly on it. Instead of retrieving it, the associate flatly told me, "Well, you can go and get it." Forcing a customer to retrieve their own completed, pre-paid art from behind the counter is a complete failure of basic service. Michaels framing lacks training, courtesy, and competence. Go elsewhere.

We bought all of the item that we were looking for, but when it came to wanting another selection of an item, it was hard to find something complimentary. And also in stock. We didn't find a complete set of any given jars they had on the shelves, but we grabbed what they had. One of the packages was open and was missing a glass.
