The store is filled with anime figurines, kawaii items, K-pop merch, stationery, and so many adorable finds. She picked out a super cute hat with ears that actually move, which was a huge hit. Everyone working there was very nice and helpful, and the shop itself was clean, bright, and well organized. The best thing about being a Hello Kitty adult is raising little Hello Kitty lovers as well! Both of my daughters have recently discovered their love for Sanrio which means, bye bye cash money! I recently took them to this shop to choose a treat and used it as a bargaining tool to get Korean bbq afterwards. We spent .. a LOT ... of time checking out every single aisle, and examining every single item so they could each choose a treat. My three-year old chose a little plastic pink bunny that holds (great quality) hair ties. My seven-year old chose My Melody washi tape. If I had no self control, I would have picked every single one of their pens, a Cinnamaroll claw clip, BTS pillow, and ALL the stickers. You could waste a lot of time just roaming around checking out what they have, if you like this kind of stuff or while you wait to be seated at the next door Korean bbq restaurant called Iron Age. However, be prepared to spend a lot of cash. Their prices are pretty ridiculous. One anime keychain was almost $20. The 4-pack deco stickers I bought were $16. They have a pretty good selection, however their cashiers/workers make it uncomfortable to look around. The whole time I was there (there was multiple people in the store at the time by the way) I was being watched by 3 of them at the front. I could feel their eyes trailing me the WHOLE time I was there. I understand if they were doing it to everyone but each time I looked at them they were directly staring at me. The stationery and plushies are what drew me in, but the plushies held my attention for so long, there are so many to choose from. This place has a lot of cutesy stuff and a lit of it doesn't intrest me. I did; however, enjoy the Link statue, but I wasn't we willing to pay $179 for it. I asked on of the employees for some help getting it down. She assisted me, but her mood seem to sour when I did not buy it. Her partner too had this look in her eyes like she hated men. Been here a few times whenever I am in Annandale, VA. I like the variety of items in this retail shop. Kind of pricey for certain things, but still a good store to browse through. Location is perfect since it is near the Korean Shilla Bakery as well as a couple of other Korean restaurants. Parking spaces are kind of small, though. I can't properly spell this store's name, but I can say it's chock full of stuff that bleed cuteness. Products seem pricey, but sometimes you can't beat convenience. I ended up buying an overgrown sushi cuddly toy - who doesn't love anthropomorphized food? Friendly cashier. In the store's rear are two photo booths. We tested the right one, and printed a bunch of photos in moments. Be wary of the time limit per screen, and when selecting photos to keep, do tap the screen until there's feedback that a shot was selected[1]. Getting your shots laminated is probably a good idea, and it's free. [1] Since I didn't tap hard enough, we were stuck with four of the same photo. Luckily, we didn't mind the shot. It's ridiculously difficult to find a permanently installed, working photobooth around here, but I finally popped my non-ID photobooth cherry here. 3 stars for cuteness level, +1 for a pair of Korean photobooths in the back right. Need travel chopsticks? A travel mug with an obscenely cute spoon? An adorable umbrella? Fake eyelashes? Sparkling pencils? Fashion accessories? A wall clock decorated so it tells you when it's time for "boom boom" (a cartoon guitar at 4 o'clock) or drinky drinky (two bottles of wine at 6 o'clock)? Seriously, it's a kawaii explosion in your face when you walk into this shop. Fun place to windowshop for a breather. Every three steps I was saying "Ohmygod!" and picking something up, or inspecting something out of deadly purchasing intent. By "ended up buying" Dave H means he bought the stuffed sushi out from under me. ;P I wish it hadn't been the last one! Sale shelves had pretty much been cleared out by other patrons. Most things are clearly priced to snipe impulse shoppers. Staff girl was nice (extra props for not yelling at us for snapping a few photos), telling us that the righthand photobooth was two bucks more because it has more fun options. The time limit goes by way too fast! I like the copy option the store offers if you ask before someone else goes in, and the free lamination helps against lint. Watch your head, the screens aren't heavy but they roll down right behind you. "Touch me gently" is an awesome sign to have under the touchscreens. read more

This isn't our first time coming to this place, but sadly our experience today was pretty disturbing. Keep in mind this store have plenty of toys. I have my 3 kids with me, my youngest is 18 months. He can't keep his eyes nor hand off of the merchandise, so as for my 11 yrs and 6 yrs girls. But abruptly the cashier lady in her mid 50s demand that 18 months old boy to keep his hand off of the merchandise, can't touch what so ever. This take place less than 5 minutes entering the store. This store has a huge selection of their plushies, as well as plenty of other types of plushies. They have a huge selection of anime and kpop merchandise as well. I got two items for my birthday. A hedgehog stuffed animal and duck slippers. The duck slippers were already torn at the seam on one of them when I received them. The hedgehogs fur was coming out when I patted him. Overall, it wasn't too bad. I got a friend to fix the slippers and am more careful with the hedgehog. read more
