Love this florist. I gave a picture of the type of arrangement I wanted for my mother in law's funeral and she did a great job. It was a lot of flower arrangements that she had to do but was on time and the flowers were beautiful. Only one arrangement was lacking some flowers. Perhaps she ran out of flowers due to so many unexpected orders? We ended up receiving so many more flowers than expected from family and friends. I thought the price was good too. I ordered the Always on My Mind - Long Stemmed Red Roses and a Mylar balloon for my wife to be delivered for Valentine's Day. This is the product that was delivered ($12 fee) with roses already in bloom and beyond for $60. My wife thought it was a little strange there was no baby's breathe in the arrangement but I assumed that based on the picture. She also noted there was no flower food. Note the $5.99 balloon not in the picture as it wasn't delivered. I completely forgot I even ordered one until I happened to look at the receipt days later. Lack of quality and accountability of items ordered tell me that I'm not a valued customer for this business. As a result, I'll likely seek other florists in the future. read more

Called here from Alaska as a best friend of mine's mom who has always been a great lady and best friend to my mom fell and broke her hip. OUCH! I called before noon their time, left a message and within a minute they called me back! I explained I wanted a 'Get Well Soon!' bouquet but only Star Gazers. They wrote my note out and asked how much I wanted to spend. They took their delivery address and when I wanted it delivered which my preference was same day. After getting my credit card info we chatted about the weather in Alaska and how now she has a contact! We laughed and it was a very pleasant transaction. I like ordering directly by calling the florist choosing one off Yelp close to my recipients address, instead of using 1-800-flowers.com because I ask and get to choose what flowers I'd like it's more custom instead of canned. read more

Going to purchase a standard Blue Horizon arrangement for my mothers birthday. I called the number listed on Apple Maps to ask some questions in regards to the different options and the lady that picked up the phone was super unprofessional, was not as eager as I was to be talking to her. If you want a special day to be ruined, order flowers from Annandale Florist. More than two weeks ago, I ordered flowers to be sent to my daughter for her birthday. She is working from home and I wanted her to enjoy the flowers while working. I learned at lunch time that the flowers had not been delivered and called. A very rude woman told me it would be delivered soon. It was after six and I called again. The same rude and unfriendly woman said that the driver was out with the flowers. They were finally delivered about 7 pm at which time my daughter had come to my home for her birthday diner. i thought I was doing a good deed in using a local business during the pandemic.. Do not use this florist. I placed a sympathy order on Monday to be delivered on Friday (today). I called this afternoon to confirm the delivery order and was told that they were waiting for the delivery driver and it would be delivered soon. I knew I was being given the run-around so I just called back (5:30pm) and was told the same thing. I offered to pick it up and was told that it hadn't even been created. It is unacceptable to not have an order ready with 5days notice. It's even more unacceptable to be lied to. Terrible business, stay away!! read more

In the past, this has been a reliable standby for ordering delivered flowers; but since the business changed hands, something has happened. I recently ordered a bereavement arrangement; it was delivered to the wrong address. The florist promised to correct the mistake the next day. They never attempted to deliver a replacement. Eventually, the person who got the flowers (a neighbor who dislikes everyone in the world) dumped them on the real recipient's stoop--no surprise: the flowers were damaged. This lack of concern and failure on the florist's part upsets me, and I will NEVER use Annandale Florist again! read more
