Poor flower arrangement on delivery. Extremely disappointed. Ordered what looked to be a beautiful orchid flower arrangement by photo online through Geno's Flowers and not a third party site. However, when the arrangement arrived, it looked sad and poorly arranged. This was quite disappointing especially while my arrangement was for someone who was grieving and received a poorly constructed arrangement. It seemed like the vase was too short for the stems and therefore the flowers. I would be skeptical to order from here again unfortunately. If it was a delivery issue, than the arrangement should be made well enough to travel too. read more

I wanted to get my friend some 'Congratulations' flowers. She lives in the falls church area. I found Geno's shop online. His website didn't have a 'Congratulations' occasion listed, too bad, because I don't know anything about flowers. But it did have a 'custom flower design' for no extra charge. Well, okay then! I placed an order on Wednesday night, for delivery on Thursday. She loved them. I will say, I did check out the those 1-800/pro-flowers sites. They add extras to you order, and the flowers never look like the pictures. When it comes down to it, the prices end up being the same. And I prefer ordering from a place you can "walk into." I'm really happy with the total purchase at Geno's (price, service and arrangement). This was a small custom design for $75, delivery $15, plus taxes and fee, total was $100. read more

My wife and I were visiting my in-laws in Southern California when we realized at 10:15am Pacific Time that we had not yet ordered flowers for a friend's celebration of life in Falls Church, VA, that started at 2:00pm Eastern Time. We found Geno's Flowers on Yelp and selected an arrangement to send to the party. We called and spoke with Geno who assured us he could make up and deliver the flowers in the next forty minutes for a reasonable "rush" fee. Before handing us over to someone else to take our charge info, Geno made sure he had the materials needed to give us the arrangement we saw on his web site. While his colleague took our info, Geno got started on the arrangement. A half-hour after we called in our order, our phone rang. It was Geno calling to let us know he had delivered the flowers!!! You cannot ask for better, friendlier or more considerate service. I was very happy to note that, though we live in Maryland, we are still within Geno's Flowers service area. I pre-ordered a wrist corsage for my daughter and it wasn't ready when i got there, in fact, he didn't have any record of it, even though I pre-paid. A person came in immediately after me and the same thing happened with her order. Fortunately, it only took him 20 minutes to make. I had a mixed experience. I ordered flowers and the bouquet was beautiful. Just what I wanted. I would recommend their work. However I would be remiss if I did not point out my disappointment with the service. I called and spoke with two individuals including the owner about a morning delivery. I was told by both people it would not be a problem. Regardless of that commitment from Geno the flowers were delivered at 2:18 after my wife had left for the afternoon. As a result she did not get her flowers until this evening. I was extremely disappointed to see any real lack of apology or concern from the shop for this clear mistake on their part. I actually had to call them twice to find out if my flowers would be coming at all.
