I ordered some flowers from Mary's flower shop for my daughter who was working on the Quantico Military Base for the week. She was visiting from Japan. I called a few different florist but they did not have access to the military base. I reached out to the base to find out if they had any recommendations for florist that had credentials to deliver on base. They recommended Mary's. My daughter said the flowers were absolutely gorgeous and very good quality. She enjoyed them for her entire stay which was a full week. When she checked out of her hotel, the flowers were still very fresh and beautiful. She left them at the reception desk for all to enjoy. In desperate search for a florist (that is not Elliot's Florist in Woodbridge - they are awful!) that is good, and can do a great job, I nervously chose Mary's Flower Shops in Triangle, VA. There weren't any reviews on Yelp available, so I was pretty apprehensive. I shouldn't have been - Mary's Flower Shops did a GREAT job. I chose their $55 deal of the day, and I am very pleased with the bouquet that was delivered to my mom's office. Even better, Mom is VERY happy with it, and thinks it's beautiful! (Score!) The only reason why I didn't score it 5 stars is the delivery + wire fee of $15. That's the price I will pay for supporting a solid, honest, local business. We stopped at my daughter's grave at Quantico Cemetery after hiking in nearby Prince William Forest Park. I found a credit card on the ground at the cemetery and a quick search revealed the individual was an employee at Mary's Flower Shop. I called the shop and while the employee wasn't there, Mary asked if I'd be willing to wait at the cemetery for her to come pick up the card. She brought me a floral arrangement as thanks, which I then left at my daughter's grave. Mary is clearly a very thoughtful lady and I'd recommend her services. read more

I had called Mary's Flower shop after hours, hoping to leave a message for flowers I needed the next day. By a stroke of luck, Mary herself had answered the phone and was gracious enough to take an order for me that night. It was a bouquet for my mother for her renewal of vows, and she even included a boutineer for my father. She listened to what I kind of wanted to do, and gave me fantastic suggestions and came up with the perfect bouquet. It was ready at noon the next day, and it was perfect for the event. Mary helped us in the store and her customer service is great. She helped everyone who came in and had suggestions or answers for anyone with questions. The store is cute and has a variety of flowers, garlands, and wreaths. I will definitely be shopping here again and will be suggesting Mary to all my family and friends. read more

I lost my father to cancer on March 30, 2021. After reading the reviews about Mary's Flower Shop, I drove to the shop with my heartbroken mom and grieving 13 year old daughter to order a casket spray for my dad. We decided to deliberately drive in 30 minutes of traffic from our home in Montclair to this specific shop due to the excellent Yelp ratings. When we arrived we were treated very rudely by the lady working there that day, April 2, 2021. We explained that we needed a casket spray delivered to Mount Castle Turch Funeral Home, in Dale City, on Monday, April 5, 2021, so that the funeral home would bring my dad and the flowers to his burial site in Ruckersville, VA. The lady was irritated and asked us why we didn't just order the flowers in Ruckersville. We explained again that we needed the flowers brought to Mount Castle in Dale City so that they could be transported with my dad. She was so agitated with us, and asked in a very rude way when all this was happening. She didn't exactly roll her eyes, but she did this fast eye blink thing that clearly expressed her annoyance. This was the very LAST thing my broken hearted family needed at the most difficult time of our lives. We told her that we didn't understand her frustration and would be taking our business elsewhere. I hope that the lady working there that day reads this review and changes her approach to how she interacts with strangers entering her shop. read more

I posted my review to the Dumfries shop so am re-posting it here where I know all 5 of those stars and more were earned. For the WWII Marines Forgotten Battalion Reunion last week, I needed a wreath, boutonnieres for the Marines, and long-stemmed red roses for the late Marines' surviving widows or children to be presented during the Memorial Service. Marie Kelley, Guest Services Manager at Hampton Inn, Dumfries (another top notcher) recommended Mary's, and I'm so glad I followed her advice. Mary suggested the flowers and colors for the wreath (Marine red & gold), made the boutonnieres red carnations with gold stem-wrapper, and prepared the roses in presentation style - a water tube at stem bottom, wrapped in cellophane, tied with red & gold ribbons. All of it so beautiful, so fresh, so long-lasting - perfect! I can't recommend this shop highly enough (more stars!!). Order from them & you won't be disappointed. Bet you'll be just as thrilled and grateful as i am. My rose is still gorgeous. I don't see the option to add a photo or you'd see the beauty of their work. I couldn't be happier with this florist! I'm an out of towner who wanted to find a local florist for a Woodbridge flower delivery. The customer service person, Valencia, was so friendly and helpful. I asked for same day delivery and was told that was no problem. I called in my order around 11:30am and the gorgeous bouquet was delivered by 1:30pm! I strongly advise you to NEVER USE this flower shop. They are over priced and the staff is very rude. Just recently, my coworkers ordered a peace plant for me after the death of my grandfather. When the delivery guy attempted to make the delivery, he failed to leave the plant on my porch or with a neighbor. When I tried to call the shop later that day to reschedule the delivery, there was no answer since the shop closes at 2pm on a Saturday. They are also not opened on Sunday and have limited hours throughout the week. There is another shop right down the street and the employee there was unwilling to help me out in any way. She did however speak to me in a nasty attitude and go on to say it wasn't their fault I wasn't there for the delivery. The earliest I would be able to get my plant was on Tuesday and I would have to get it myself. So if you do use this flower shop, do so with caution and you better be there if you want something delievered. read more
