HUGE fan of this florist - I've purchased from them before but I have been motivated to write a glowing review after I saw what they'd designed for one of my favorite aunts. I always choose designer's choice/design when I send flowers. That way, the florist can use what's freshest, prettiest, and can tailor according to requests. I wanted something bright with orange lillies (my aunt's favorite). I just set a budget and let the expert do their thing. I mean, look at the results. Ordered flowers on a Tuesday for a local funeral Thursday. I did not receive an email receipt, but did receive an email saying I will be getting their newsletter. That's fine, no big deal, but prefer a receipt. A few minutes after ordering I wanted to change who the flowers were from, add "and family" after my name. I sent an email that was listed on the newsletter as contact info. Did not get a reply or any acknowledgment. I went to the funeral today and they did not make the change. Disappointing. BTW, the flowers were absolutely beautiful, really nicely done. UPDATE: Owner did reach out and apologized, I do appreciate that concern, the email was 100% sent to email address from website. A big fan!!! I needed a plant repotted and Brandon's was more than willing to help me out in my endeavor!! I was bale to drop my precious plant off and pick her up the next day!! She was cleaned up real nice and they even stood her branches up and added some decorations to her so she was shining bright!! Buy local! My family has had relatively disappointing experiences ordering flowers from the large online sites - the arrangements have been undersized, of poor quality and were often missing cards to identify the sender. I stopped in to get something for my friend's birthday and Lauren was awesome. Friendly and welcoming and also let me browse. I picked a beautiful and fun pitcher and when I checked out, Anna showed me a couple of arrangements that could be put in the vase if I chose (informative without being pushy!). I asked if I decided to come back and do that if the price of the vase would come off the arrangement price and she quickly went back to check with the manager (Val) and confirmed it for me. I recently ordered a flowers for someone's belated birthday. I chose Brandon's Flowers based on the 4.9 stars review on Google. I expressed to Val the importance of the occasion and even asked about the type of flowers that would be used. She reassured me that it would come out nice. Sadly, the floral arrangement was less to be desired. And I am thoroughly disappointed. Val, the employee at Brandon's Flowers, has since responded to my Google review to add in their defense I chose the cheapest floral arrangement. Her response exemplifies the lack of professionalism I received. I paid a total of $47.09. And while I did choose the deal of the day at $35, there were other floral arrangements on their website for the same price. Basically what Val and Brandon's Flowers have stated is that a customer that chooses the deal of the day or any other arrangement that is listed at $35, should expect to receive lower quality and presentation and dismal customer service. This has nothing to do with the value of the arrangement. The bottom line is the arrangement did not look professionally done and looked like a bunch of cheap flowers were thrown together in a vase. Maybe Brandon's Flowers is better at when you select a floral arrangement with a picture so they can easily copy what flowers should be added and arranged for presentation. Val only offered to replace the arrangement after I shared I would be leaving reviews. I am also dismayed that Val would dare to mention any information about the recipient, which shows a lack of discretion and regard for privacy. I am the customer that paid for the floral arrangement and delivery. And I am the one that was disappointed with the arrangement. read more
