We were visiting Occoquan on a Monday and just happened to venture into this store and we're glad we did! My wife and I are expecting our first child and Gift and Gather had a really cute selection of onesies, bibs, small dolls, etc. When we entered the store, we were quickly greeted and welcomed into the store. Parking was easy and they had street parking right out front. Aside from cute baby stuff, they also had handmade/locally sourced soaps, gifts, shirts, etc. They had some items featuring dogs and things like that. They had a selection of fine tea and also really nice shaving/razor sets for men. Some really great gift ideas. As we finished up our visit and checked out the lady made some nice lunch suggestions, other stores she liked, and events coming up in Occoquan. She also did a really nice job of wrapping our purchase and tissue paper and a nice bag --a huge plus if you're shopping for a gift. We will definitely visit Gift & Gather next time we're in Occoquan! I added some photos (note they are from the business's Facebook page).

Nice gifts from leather goods, candles, soaps, jewelry, books, stationary, kids clothing, greeting cards, etc. The establishment is a great size, and the customer service is on point. It's like visiting...Etsy...in person. If such a store existed of course. Obviously only a very very small, and very highly curated BIT of Etsy, but still...it's etsy-esque. In a good way. Well worth a visit. Especially for those "extra hard to shop for" and "already have everything" types. They're also great for the many miscellaneous gift needs that pop up throughout the year for coworkers and teachers and other people you might not know very well and whose gift options fall uncomfortably in between even the classiest target dollar bin options your best friends might love, and the fancier more expensive fare reserved for one's own children, close relatives, spouses... Turkish towels are awesome because they take up less space and dry far more quickly than other, thicker towels, so of course they end up both smelling much better and being a lot more hygienic. The orange-scented hand lotion is super-luxe, too, with a rich creamy feel and excellent scent. I got the amber hair perfume. The rugs are really nice, with just enough texture balanced together with softness and sturdiness all together in one piece -- and there is an amazing selection of different colours of these area rugs available, all rolled up nicely in a cool basket.
