The Good Apex deserves credit for their emergency…read moreavailability and quick response time. When my A/C failed at 2AM on a Sunday, they were the only company able to come out immediately (I called at least 5 others). The technician arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem efficiently (faulty fan motor on my Carrier unit), and completed the repair within a couple hours, including a trip to source the part from their vendor. The Concerning The final cost was $2,303.60 for what I've since learned should typically cost $700-$1,000 (that is including emergency service fees). While I understand emergency calls command premium pricing, this felt excessive. Additionally, the quoted price increased from $2,000 to $2,303.60 when it was time to pay without clear explanation of the additional charges. My Takeaway Apex delivers on availability and technical competence when you're in a crisis. However, I'd strongly recommend getting multiple quotes if time permits, as their emergency pricing appears significantly above market rate. The convenience of immediate service came at a steep premium that I wasn't prepared for. Would I use them again? Only in a true emergency where no other options exist, and I'd request detailed pricing breakdowns upfront. For future customers: Get clear, written estimates before work begins, and ask about all potential additional fees.

***Update*** I failed to mention the best part of our…read moreexperience. We contacted them on a Saturday morning, and they were able to visit us the same day. That exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately, we have had a lot of difficulties with our Samsung washer and dryer and have had to have both repaired, several times, over the past 4-5 years. A few months ago, Greentek repaired our dryer, and most recently, they came out to assess a persistent annoying problem we've had with our washer. Greentek advised us the cost to repair the washer was higher than what we wanted to pay. (The amount of the repair and the amount we put into repairing it in the past was going to exceed the cost of a new washer.) So, we declined to have Greentek repair the washer and decided to buy a new washer. (Not a Samsung!) Both experiences were positive and we have no complaints with Greentek. They are prompt, professional, offer reasonable prices and do everything as agreed. Call them.

We all make mistakes and I was glad to hear that they stepped up by admitting there was fault. My part came in, they got installed and did a good job. I will use their services again* So far, not impressed. Received a text from tech that they were on their way to my job, replied with thumbs up. Hour and 15 min. later, I called office to ask about the delay...they said they would contact tech. Got a text back saying that tech was on the way. Showed up hour+ later. Could not "fix" icemaker, need to order part. Sent me quote, I approved quote 4 days ago, haven't heard any response. Communication is key, have not experienced that. I am a real estate broker

In June 2025, we hired this company to diagnose an issue with our HVAC system. After their…read moreevaluation, we were told we needed a new condenser, which cost us $5,200. Two days after the installation, the system stopped working again. When they returned, we were told there was now a hole in the coil and that it would be another $5,000 to repair or $16,000 for a completely new system. At that point, we decided to get additional opinions. Multiple HVAC companies quoted us significantly lower pricing. We learned that the condenser we paid $5,200 for typically costs around $3,000 installed. We ultimately had a brand-new system (the same model we already had) installed by another company for $7,000, less than half of what we were quoted. When we raised our concerns, the only explanation given was that they "don't get as good of pricing as other companies." Our experience left us feeling like they don't even try to properly diagnose, they just throw in expensive parts and hope for the best. We are also feeling duped because we obviously paid well above market rate for the work performed. We strongly recommend using ANYONE else.

He drove from Austin to Georgetown to get it this afternoon so he'd have the system running by tonight. It works. When he was testing it, he discovered that our new thermostat had also failed. So he replaced it. All better. The service these people offer is just first rate.
