If you need electrical work done with care and professionalism this is a great company to call . I…read morewas able to get an appointment squeezed into an already busy schedule as most companies including this are usually booked up a couple weeks out which is fair . But unlike the other companies Brushy Creek Electric made and exception for my small but tedious job and where able to come out the next day . I basically had a Sonos SL One speaker in wall mounting kit that needed an outlet added to the inside of the mounting box where the speaker sits. This is so you don't have to run any plugs inside the wall but rather just plug the speaker into the wall mount itself . This isn't like a regular cord hiding kit where you just cut a hole up top and then another one next to the outlet on bottom to plug it in with the cord showing on bottom. It actually needs to be hardwired into the existing electrical wires in the wall and I wasn't about to attempt to mess with it myself not knowing one thing about electrical work other than hanging simple lights and fans. On top of the fact that my stud / wire finder was saying there where wires I could possibly cut through by accident behind the sheet rock. Also the fact this whole project was under my staircase which is built a little different from the rest of the interior walls so it's sketchy for me to just cut away. The kit is by ( Thenos ) not Thanos from the Avengers by the way which will pop up on autocorrect every time you look for the company on google incase you want one lol . I'm happy I chose Brushy Creek Electric , Greg was patient with my questions very neat with the work he did and affordable considering what I was asking him to do. He was also pretty quick with the job and made sure everything worked as it should before completing the job . I will say I called around plenty of other reputable companies and got twice the price and a longer wait time for an appointment as I did with Brushy Creek Electric. I'm not saying he's super cheap because to be fair all jobs change depending on the task and difficulty level which you should always consider . I am saying he will get the job done rite at a reasonable competitive price according to the industry standards and you won't have to worry about issues later because he definitely knows what he's doing . I say this because its not fair to make up this idea that because someone got a good deal on a job that you deserve to pay less than what is recommended and then get angry when it's not what you expect on a quote . There is always a standard most people charge it's their livelihood but this company is very fair with their prices and if they say something costs higher than what you expect to pay just remember another company might charge double just because they have a big head on their shoulders and haven't been around as long. Please consider Brushy Creek Electrical when you have any electrical problems or projects and you won't be disappointed. Call (512) 335-2828 they are available 24/7 according to their listing .

TL;DR -  Fixed most likely broke my washing machine when investigating a leak in a unit below and…read moreis charging me for a "courtesy" visit. I live in a complex that regularly uses Fixed's services. My HOA asked if I would agree to have employees from Fixed come into my unit to investigate a leak in the unit 2 floors below. After making arrangements to be home for the appointment, they had to reschedule. I wasn't able to rearrange my schedule again and so made arrangements for a building staff member to let the employees in and stay with them throughout the visit. The staff member reported to me that they ran my washing machine and paused the cycle around a dozen times and concluded that the leak was not coming from my unit. My washing machine never worked again after that. My property manager contacted Fixed to ask them to come look at my machine. They refused. She asked them to reconsider and they sent an email saying they would send someone out, but that if they determined it wasn't their fault, I would have to pay for "it". I assumed they meant a new washer, not the visit itself. The email was full of typos and grammatical errors - not exactly clear communication. I assumed this was a courtesy visit since I let them into my unit as a courtesy and they are the preferred vendor for my complex. I had a GE technician come out who said there is no way to prove that Fixed didn't break my machine. A couple months later I got a bill for $85 from Fixed for their visit. This after spending nearly $1,000 between a new washing machine and the GE technician visit where it was confirmed it would be more expensive to repair than replace my washer. Not only am I and the building staff member fairly certain they broke my machine, now they are charging me. My property manager went back and asked them to drop the charge and they refused. Talk about salt in the wound.
