I did not have the CT scan done and talked to the endodontist for around 15 minutes. I was billed for having the CT scan and some other charges along with it. I was told I'd get back the difference and they'd call me. A month later, no call. I was then told a month later, after a call, I'd be getting around $200 back and someone would be calling me. No call. I called back a few weeks later and was told they didn't know about it and someone would call me back. Again, no call. It's now more than 2 months later. I'm not sure they really care, and I'm sure they're just going to keep my money. Why does anyone have to pay the full out of pocket expense up front being told they'd figure out how much they own you back anyway? Even after this review, I won't be surprised if I never hear from them.

We've always paid our estimates at time of service and any additional balances in instances where the estimates may have been slightly off. They continue to state that we have a "family" balance that has to be paid before they will schedule follow up visits. This balance has been reviewed with the business office against the EOB from my insurance in which the EOB does not reflect any patient responsibility. They are trying to balance bill for amounts they should contractually be writing off. This alone has put a bitter take in my mouth and forced me to start looking elsewhere for treatment. ​

I was nervous how she would handle the process and ultimately was worried she would make a scene. The absolute opposite happened because of how sweet and thoughtful the staff was. Shout outs to Gretchen, Alexis, and Allison for going above and beyond for my girl to make sure she was content and happy while I was having my cleaning. They absolutely didn't have to do what they did, but it made all the difference for me and my daughter. From start to finish, the visit went very well. Scheduling was easy, filling out the new patient "paperwork" was online and easy, and once I arrived for my appointment, everything else went smoothly! I believe Dr. Jaouni provided a conservative treatment plan recommendation, which I very much appreciated. I mean, after all, who wants to have a tooth pulled, unless absolutely necessary?! My wife has been treated by Dr. Jaouni on a couple of occasions. She was pleased with the result and approved of my seeing him for my "emergency" issue. After being seen by Dr. Jaouni, I too recommend this endodontist. I hope you don't need to visit the Endodontist, but if you do and you decide to give this practice/Dr. Jaouni an opportunity to treat you, I hope you have a likewise very positive experience! I immediately called my dentist, Dentistry By Brand and they referred me to this Endodontic practice. They made an opening for me and was in the chair within the hour. The Dr and his assistant were amazing. No pain procedure because of the skill of Dr Ahmad Kassabji. His practice is all geared for your comfort and care. Root canals require know how and precision. If you have the need for such a procedure look no further. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

That being said, you need to really look over your EOB (explanation of benefits) and make sure everything is correct. We had to pay out of pocket because our insurance information wasn't available yet as my husband had started a new job. They filed for us later after we had our info, and the insurance greatly reduced the amount we were to pay. After finding out we were due a refund I contacted their office and was told the person in charge of all that had unfortunately had to have emergency surgery, which is completely understandable. Over a month later after reaching out again, we finally had a check written out to us for $1000 when I knew by the EOB I was owed $1700. After discussing it with the person, she did write another check of $700. I'm truly hopeful it was an honest mistake, but I would caution anyone to check every insurance EOB and make sure you are being charged correctly.

Luckily, I found 2 other Endodontists that had availability and one of them booked me right away. I guess they are so busy they don't want any new patients. Not sure but I was not impressed with the lack of empathy from the person that answered the phone. If you know you need endo, you know you need endo - I think the lack of trust in a patient for knowing their own body is a pretty big insult. Like I said, there are plenty of other Endodontists that don't act this way... I'd skip this place and look elsewhere.

The staff was truly amazing. They were professional, friendly and attentive. The Dr was also patient, relatable and had exceptional bed side manners. He even called to check in on said patient. I was thoroughly pleased and impressed.
