Food was plentiful and tasty. Hash browns were a crispy layer over some tender shreds of potato. Biscuit was huge and flaky. Just remember good food overcomes bad service. My coffee was never refilled. I'll go back.

    Ready for an awesome breakfast.

They didn't acknowledge it was even there. I never got served. That's common in places like this in small southern towns.

We didn't necessarily want to get dressed up to go out to eat and it was already a little after 7pm. When we arrived I noticed how clean the restaurant was from the outside and it proved to be that way on the inside. We were seated promptly. There were about 5 other tables occupied at the time. I wish that I had gotten a picture of our food but I didn't think about it because I am not one that normally reviews businesses unless specifically asked to do so. I am a Chicken fired steak snob and I have to say that this one passed the test. It was the perfect size. It was tender enough that I did not need a knife to cut it. I had a side of green beans and mashed potatoes with it. This hit the spot for home cooking. Our waiter was Edvin and he was very attentive and made sure a few times that we were enjoying what we had ordered and asked if we needed anything. We will be absolutely be going back because they serve breakfast all day which is hard to find these days and I am old school and crave breakfast for dinner on occasion. Flawless vibe and killer food…read more It is incredibly rare to find a spot that can pull off a fresh, healthy sit-down dinner and a laid-back bite after a brutal workday, but Elm Fork completely nails both. We went for dinner first. Brian had the lamb tacos and I ordered the mesquite-smoked salmon with steamed broccoli and a sweet potato. It was perfect--light, smoky, and genuinely healthy without being boring. We loved the atmosphere so much that after a crazy busy workday the very next day, we headed straight back. The smoked wings are top-tier and the queso is exactly what you want at the end of a long day. What really made our visit stand out was a delightful conversation with one of the co-owners, Michael. He told us all about how they source their unique draft beers from all over--including an incredible one from Iowa that Brian absolutely loved. The vibe here is just right, and the bar staff and servers are amazing. Whether you want a great dinner or just a solid spot to unwind with a unique brew, this place is a must-visit.

I ordered a grilled cheese with fries (a childhood classic) and my boyfriend ordered the WiscoTex Skillet. My grilled cheese was so nostalgic of growing up in Wisconsin. This is definitely the home of the skillet. I ordered the house skillet, and my husband customized his with the "make your own" option. The food came out sizzling hot on actual skillets. A lot of other restaurants just serve their skillet dishes in regular bowls, so this was a huge bonus! On top of that, the skillet meals come with your choice of pancakes, toast, or a biscuit with gravy. The portions were incredibly filling, and we both had to take leftovers home. We will definitely be back!

We entered on a weekday mid afternoon and was greeted with a friendly hello and any help to see the menu. There were no paper menus, just the menu up on the screens above the counter. There are few sandwiches and salads, but they all looked very good so we chose the Cuban Press and Turkey Pesto Press sandwiches. After a short wait, we got our orders each on a silver tray with nicely presented half cut sandwiches and homemade chips. The Cuban press sandwich was warm, filled with seasoned chopped pork and sliced ham melted with cheese and brown mustard on a grilled ciabatta bread. It was really good like a comfort food. The turkey pesto had two thick, sliced turkey breast, warmed with freshly made pesto spread, which bloomed with the bright green color and the smell of prime freshness, and nestled with melted cheese on a grilled ciabatta bread. The first bite really welcomed the combo of warm turkey and fresh pesto. Delicious! The homemade chips were super delicious and we ate every single piece. The sandwiches were so large that we had enough to take home for another meal. The dining room was small and cozy and had two tall tables, 2 medium tables and one couple size table in the corner. Service was super friendly and sincere. Their workers really cared about the food and making it right the first time. This really is a foodie place. They had bottled wines on the wall to select from and another small cooler with chilled wines and specialty beers. They had fresh made sides upfront and desserts, but we skipped this time. Definitely something worth getting on another visit. This place was very clean. Bathroom was well taken care of. This place is in a small strip mall and is definitely worth stopping by just right off the interstate. When we're around this area again, we'd certainly will stop by again.

All was amazing but the schnitzel was FANTASTIC!!!!! Dessert- we are fat a$$es and got all 3. Creme brûlée is my go-to any time it is on the menu. They had a mango, passion fruit one. Meh- would never get it again but lesson learned. Chocolate mousse- very rich. Friends loved it. Not my jam, ever so no stars taken away. While the hatch chili aioli lacked the heat to compensate for the smorgasbord of toppings, it complemented the crab cake.
