Only a couple tables were occupied when I arrived. It was fortunate as there was only a single waitress assisted by a server. The rest of the waitstaff arrived by 9am. Since my last visit, the restaurant added surcharges, none clearly disclosed. I ordered the Chili N Cheese Omelette. When asked if I wanted toast, pancakes or an English muffin, my waitress never mentioned the 50-cent surcharge on the English muffin. None of the menus provided mentioned the 4% credit card surcharge. It was only until I got the check were these surcharges listed. The chili was not suitable for an omelette topping due to the excessive amount of liquid. That also affected its flavor. Also, segments of the omelette were very thin. The combination made the omelette unsuitably soggy. Although the English muffin was already buttered, it was served with a large amount of whipped butter on the side, as well as, a single container of jam.
I've lived in lewisville for about 11 years. I've seen this place many times and never stopped or it was closed by the time I got up. On 11/11/25 was the first time I had decided to stop before going to the gym. I walked in and there was only 1 family eating and it appeared to be 3 staff members the waitress, a waiter and possibly the cook in the back. Waitress told take a seat where ever and I went and sat at a table. She walked over handed me a menu a I looked it over at first glance it was very simple. I saw there was a short haul and a long haul I asked her what they were and she immediately said, oh you wont finish the long haul!. Lmfao I would later come to find out why!! I told her yea I would take the short haul because I was going to the gym after. The food came pretty quick cause no one was in the restaurant. I saw her walking over to me with 2 plates and one had what I can only explain was a tire made of bread! Got my short haul which consisted of 2 eggs however you want I got them sunny side up and your choice of meat I decided on ham. My only complaint was that it appeared the eggs may have been a little over cooked on the bottom cause they were hard to cut but no biggie and my other complaint was the ham was extremely small I was thinking I would get a little more than 2 little squares. Any ways to move on to the tire of pancake it had a huge glob of butter on it! It was winning already! I smeared the butter on it and asked for sugar free syrup at that point why even ask for sugar free with all the carbs I was gonna stuff in my face!!!!. It was good and fluffy. Waitress was a sweet heart came by and kept asking me if I need anything and always referred to me as sweety, hun, or sweetheart. Which I have no problem with. Location 6 outa 10 very clean and homie Waitress 6 iuta 10 great attitude for it being dead. Short haul 4 outa 10 it was ok Pancake 10 out 10 didn't even finish it what would have made it better is some Pecans or blueberries in it. The shear size I'd Def come back!!!!!!
A family restaurant with amazing backstory of serving in US military in The Philippines when Imperial Japan invaded at start of World War 2. This country-style menu, with some Tex-Mex favorites, has more hop than Ihop! In a nice stripmall along Round Grove, west of State Hwy 121, in Lewisville, TX, plenty of free parking. This was day before Easter Sunday, and Mother Nature sent an ice cold rain storm from the north. It was a crazy drive to get to this side of the DFW metroplex. When I drove by Jackie's, it was full of people, so I looked up reviews, then put it on my "things to do" while in Flower Mound area. (Flow-Mo) Not too big, not too small, nice country store kind of setting. About 80% of seats were taken. My waitress was fantastic, had plenty of charm, and knew her business! While all the Tex-Mex items looked amazing, especially the fajitas dishes, I usually pick technical dishes on my first visits to eateries. The Country Ham & Eggs Benedict on Jackie's house baked bread was good, with home-fried potatoes on the side.
Food: Great, filling. I find it hard to walk away hungry after a meal like this. Service: Heather was great, never seen the bottom of my coffee mug. Ambiance: Maybe more like a home than a restaurant, I'm good with it. Quiet little area.
We had an amazing time at Jackie's Ham n Eggs! Our server, Lex (may be Alexis), was absolutely amazing and made the experience even better. It was my first time there, and the service alone made me want to come back. The restaurant was very clean and well put together, and everyone greeted us warmly when we walked in -- even though we came about 35 minutes before closing. We still received full, attentive service and never felt rushed at all. I ordered the Light Traveler and it definitely filled me up -- so good! I also got apple juice, and they gave me a big cup with a refill, which I loved. Overall, everything was great, and I'll definitely be coming back and bringing others with me.
Took my granddaughter to Jackie's Ham and Eggs for the first time, and it did not disappoint. We ordered one of their massive pancakes with a meat lovers combo, and when I say massive... I mean the three of us split it and still had leftovers. The plate came loaded with hash browns, a generous stack of bacon, and eggs. My daughter and I split the meat, and we built a little custom plate for my granddaughter with bacon, hash browns, and pancakes since she's a picky eater... and even she was happy, which says a lot. The food overall was really good. The eggs were a little runny for my taste, but not enough to knock the experience. Everything else hit. But let's be honest... Heather made the whole visit. She was attentive, warm, and just one of those people who makes you feel like you picked the right place to be. Every restaurant needs a Heather. Big portions, solid food, great service. We'll definitely be back.

So my wife saw a preview of this restaurant on Texas Today last week. Even though it is a 20 mile drive from the house, we made the trek. The service was great thanks to Heather our server. That was the end of it. They didn't have coffee (no fault of the restaurant), no water. There was a musky odor when we walked in, but we got seated immediately. My wife ordered the pancake and it was the size of the plate and she enjoyed it. Me on the other hand ordered the corned beef hash, 2 eggs over-easy, and hash browns. The hash browns were burnt, the corned beef hash was cool , and the eggs were not even over-easy as they gushed water when I cut into then, and to top it off the toast was cold to where the butter couldn't melt. So disappointed. Won't make the trek again.

Small and quaint feel to it. Extra large coffee mugs. Staff was very welcoming when we arrived. Very friendly. Heather was great. I had the shortstack, bacon and hash browns. GF had 1 pancake, sausage link and scrambled eggs. They do offer a 5 pancake challange. Eat all 5 in 30 minutes its free (no one has done it). PAncakes are the size of dinner plates and about 1/2 inch thick. They were fluffy, definitely need more than 1 thing of butter and plenty of syrup. The sausage link and eggs were over cooked (did not say anything as we were really there to try the pancakes. I was only able to finish 1 pancake. If i go back i would order 1 pancake off the sides menu so i didnt waste so much food.
Delicious food with HUGE portions. I absolutely loved the BLT with the fried egg. And they gave me so many curly fries. It's reasonably priced with friendly staff. Food came out hot and fast. They offer a cash total which is a little less than the non cash total.

First off, I think they do very well given the limited size of the place. It is small, but comfortable. We came at a busy time, but were seated quickly, and Heather was over to us quickly as well. I ordered the eggs Benedict while my lovely bride got the biscuit (singular) and sausage gravy. Let's start with the coffee. This is regular coffee, not some burnt tasting french roast... Good old regular coffee. The food arrived quickly and I thought for a moment that there was no way my wife could eat that whole biscuit ... I've seen smaller chihuahua's. Soft and fluffy, great biscuit and the chunky gravy perfected it. My eggs Bennie we're really good as well. Rather than the traditional Canadian bacon, it came with nice slabs of ham. Delicious. The only thing I would want better is the temperature of everything... It all needs to be warmer. Though not cold, it should be hotter. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. On a side note, the guy at the next table had the pancakes. They were bigger than the plate and looked amazing. Definitely a come back again.

The service is friendly, and portions are huge, and there's no doubt you'll take your portions home. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Jackie's Ham 'n Eggs sits in a Lewisville strip mall. Inside you'll find plenty of tables with blue and white checkered tablecloths. There's some artwork on the walls that remind me of eating at someone's home. But other than that, it's a plain restaurant. 1/2 Star. Service - "Good people" work here. I scheduled a UYE at Jackie's and the number of attendees will vary, but the staff (shout out to Heather) was so nice and welcoming that I was put at ease. I even met the owner, and I could tell from our short conversations that they really care about making sure each person goes home full. 1 Star. Food - First, when I said their pancakes are huge, I'm not exaggerating. Take a look at the photos and see for yourself. There's lots on the menu, but I was there to eat the pancakes. My short stack had two pancakes, and while they were big and wide, they were also light and fluffy. I channeled my inner child and ate from the inside out, making a small pool of syrup in the center. Don't do what I did, because they'll give you a pizza box to take your leftovers home, and mine looked silly with a big hole in the middle. Now, the best part of my meal was the price. You get tons of food for a good value. 1 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. The large pancakes may be a gimmick to get you to try them, but their kind staff and family welcoming atmosphere will have you coming back. 1 Star. read more
I'm five starring this because of the experience thanks to the down home atmosphere and very friendly service. Don't get me wrong, the food was good too but the staff here really is something else! The giant sized pancake did not disappoint. I I got the traveler light which was eggs, meat and one pancake. The pancake was quite thick but still fluffy. Other than the size it was a basic pancake enjoyed with syrup. My meat was corned beef hash, subbed in for a small upcharge. It was spectacular. I couldn't get enough. They also have their own hot sauce which went great with the eggs. Besides that, it's a nice size restaurant, good for groups and lots of parking. I wish they were closer to where i live because I can see myself coming down here often if not for the drive. read more

Absolutely delicious food and the biscuits and pancakes are so big, they use pizza boxes for to go orders!! Best breakfast in the area by far!! Tom and staff are the greatest and always make sure you leave full and happy. Have to try this place!! read more

What a GREAT place for breakfast!!! The model for how restaurants and ANY customer-oriented business should be. This place is really what I wish every restaurant on the planet was like. We were immediately greeted by a genuinely friendly Heather, who got us seated, and then immediately got us huge cups of great coffee. The menu is a good mix of traditional and variations-on-traditional breakfast meals. Be warned...the portions are GINORMOUS! The biscuit in my daughter's biscuit and gravy (biscuit...singular) was a bit bigger than a softball. My son's cinnamon roll french toast had four large slices of toast. My wife's strawberry blintz took up a large plate and had a full cup of strawberries. My brother's country breakfast included four strips of bacon, and came with seven. You get the idea. Big portions, so come hungry! And, be prepared to be full. We finished eating at 11, and none of us was hungry again until dinner. All of the food was perfect. I asked for over-medium eggs. They came over medium. The hash browns were crisp on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. The sausage gravy didn't break halfway through the meal, but didn't rely on a bunch of starch or stabilizers to keep it thick. Every component of every dish was perfectly cooked and plated. Heather was the model for what friendly, attentive service should be. She immediately greeted seated us. She made us feel welcome, always checked on coffee and warmed us up if we needed it. She let us customize dishes as needed, and our entire party's food was delivered quickly and at the same time. From "welcome" to check, it was exceptional, superb service. Highly recommend, and highly recommend going out of your way to eat here, if for no other reason than it will restore your faith that some restaurants know how to feed and treat you. read more
An absolute MUST go place for breakfast and brunch fanatics! Great service, HUGE portions, quality food. Very affordable prices on everything. The pancakes are bigger in person than even the photos show. Same for homemade hot biscuits. Tom is a great dude who cares for his customers clearly. Heather is the best waitress ever. Super friendly and kind. Ask for her if you can. Her favorite color is pink! Dallas fans gonna love this place as the walls are covered in Cowboy swag. The ham slice and 2 eggs plate with country fried potatoes is a winner in my book for sure. Just $14.50 for all that food! Winning! read more
What an amazing experience. We came in from keller 30 min away to try this delightful family. It is a famiky Owned business with texas size portions but that isn't the important part. You can go to places with large portions and it isn't good food. This was not only good it was delicious!!! A must try!!! read more

The food was your basic breakfast, very average. The coffee was watery and very weak. Except for the giant pancake. The giant pancake was very good and an enjoyable novelty food item. Service was fun! Heather our waitress was attentive and spunky. She drew you and other customers into witty banter which made for an uplifting dining experience. Ambiance was minimal home style Americana. I would go back with others to have them try that pancake (with stronger coffee next time). read more

I really enjoy Jackie's. I haven't been back there since like 2010, friendly environment and servers are quick to attend to big groups. I also like that the chefs personally go out and deliver the food, if there is something wrong they take it right back. Let's get the bad over with, our server in particular was really really bad at taking the orders, we had to clarify what we had on our orders and they still came out wrong. Some of us had to wait on the order to get fixed while others in our group were eating. In the end I think she may have been new but I won't say any names, she was nice. Another thing I didn't really enjoy was the actual pancake. It was too grainy and kinda dry. I feel like I enjoyed it back then much more. The strawberries were good and so where the almonds. One last thing, was the restrooms. They were sort of messy and could have used a clean up. There was no soap on the mens and I feel like that's a must on an hourly checkup. Now for the good, I got the "build your own omelette" and it was delicious! I got it loaded with pretty much everything you can get and got the white cheese on top with avocado slices. That thing was GOOD! I highly recommend it. My wife got the eggs Benedict and that was really good too, I would have gotten that as my second choice. All in all it was a good time with family in a homestyle breakfast restaurant. read more

Still a classic breakfast location. Surprisingly not a lot of people but food came faster and that's a positive. Used to be a time where there was a long wait. Miss Linda is a sparkling server who is very attentive and reminds you you're in the south. Always love seeing the old Cowboys players and their autographs on the wall Starting to show signs of aging but still a good breakfast. You will never leave hungry for sure from this place. This local gem is just what you need to satisfy your breakfast needs. The atmosphere is that of a small local cafe. Heather was the member that served us. She immediately greeted my hubs and I with a hello and smile. Her witty and fun banter was a delight. She spoke to us as if we've known each other years. She provided great service, but also went above to be personable and efficient. The food is fresh and delicious. The portion sizes are that of "Texas size". Come hungry! My hubs and i come over from another city to enjoy this restaurant. Whether you walk in happy or sad, you'll leave better than came. read more
The food is delicious! My fiancé and I came to Jackie's Ham and Eggs to celebrate his birthday on a Wednesday. I got the ham scrambled eggs ginormous biscuit. My fiancé got the gigantic pancakes. You can also request birthday pancakes. Everything we ate was so good! Unfortunately, I was only disappointed with the orange juice. I was really hoping that the orange juice was freshly squeezed. However, it tasted like the cheapest orange juice. Instead, I got a can of Sprite. Service provided by Summer was superb. Summer is super friendly, and she told us a little bit about the history of the restaurant. I highly recommend for you to check this place out. read more

Excellent service. The restaurant could use an upgrade, but other than that, it was very clean and welcoming. Tom did a wonderful job. I got a sausage tomato and cheese omlette which came with a very large Pancake and hashbrowns. Pancake was GREAT! Hashbrowns were cooked just right. Nice crunch but still soft inside. I did have an issue with my omlette. It just tasted off, like something was spoiled or maybe the cheese was generic. I'm not sure but after a couple bites, I decided not to eat it. I enjoyed everything else and will definitely be back for another try. I will pick a different egg type and cheese next time. read more
