We'll come in just for beer and a cocktail sometimes. I go for lunch at least once a week, especially if I can snag one of the two front patio tables so my dog can join us in the shade. We bring every houseguest here for dinner. My boyfriend loves the steak, ribs special, sandwiches, and burgers. I love the many vegetarian friendly options, including the fettucine alfredo and stir fried rice. There's a kids menu full of choices for kiddos too. Many of the foods here can be made gluten free, as well. The staff is wonderful, atmosphere beautiful and relaxing, and it's truly the best place to take your visitors to our beautiful lakeshore city.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know--in case you're looking to spend some quiet, uninterrupted time…read morewith your pets and your daughters--that I strongly recommend you avoid this place. The people there are very unpleasant; the owner and his wife are extremely disagreeable. They get angry about everything--whether it's pets or children--and even get upset if the kids ride their bikes or play; they'll scold the children, yet if you, as a parent, try to confront them about it, their attitude completely changes. They also claim you can pick fruit, but that's a lie; they don't actually allow it.

I was asked if i reported it upon check in, but if it was already gone how would I know to report it as missing? I was assured staff would never just check the box on the inventory form without physically ensuring the item was present. Another nice surprise was the "continental breakfast" actually turned out to be a full breakfast. Our stay was Memorial Day weekend, the room cost was $490 per night. The hotel became very crowded quickly, the parking lot was overfull, the breakfast lounge had consistent lines with food/drinks running out ongoing rotation. The main bedroom sits directly against the outside walkway so you hear a lot of noise, if you open the window blinds everybody who walks by can look in & the AC unit cooled the room well but was obnoxiously noisy to run. The location is too far outside the town of Chelan which makes it a long unpleasant walk in the heat. I would still recommend this hotel, ideally not during such a busy weekend.
