The hotel became very crowded quickly, the parking lot was overfull, the breakfast lounge had consistent lines with food/drinks running out ongoing rotation. The main bedroom sits directly against the outside walkway so you hear a lot of noise, if you open the window blinds everybody who walks by can look in & the AC unit cooled the room well but was obnoxiously noisy to run. The location is too far outside the town of Chelan which makes it a long unpleasant walk in the heat. I would still recommend this hotel, ideally not during such a busy weekend.

I love the many vegetarian friendly options, including the fettucine alfredo and stir fried rice. There's a kids menu full of choices for kiddos too. Many of the foods here can be made gluten free, as well. The staff is wonderful, atmosphere beautiful and relaxing, and it's truly the best place to take your visitors to our beautiful lakeshore city.

One of the highlights of the stay was the restaurant, which is just steps away from the rooms. We ate there multiple times and every single thing we ordered was really good. The quality of the food was consistently excellent and the servers were kind and attentive. They also had live music on Friday night, and the woman performing when we were there was incredibly talented and made the evening even more enjoyable. The kitchen amenities and sink area were also very nice and convenient. The biggest drawback was the smoke alarm beeping in the middle of the night. It really disrupted our sleep. I understand maintenance may have needed to come in, but I wasn't comfortable with someone entering while we were out or disturbing our privacy while we were inside I'm a bit particular about that when my belongings are in the room. In fact, when the washer wouldn't open, maintenance had to come in and take the **entire washing machine apart** just to try to retrieve my belongings. Unfortunately, I had a flight to catch and had to leave before maintenance was able to get everything back to me. The front desk attendant assured me that they would send my belongings to me. At no point was I told that I would be responsible for an outrageous shipping fee. A few days later, I received a message from another front desk attendant who was rude and said she had no idea what I was talking about and that I could call back Monday to speak with the original attendant. I was then sent a link to "iLeftMyBelongings" to arrange shipping. I filled out the form and was shocked to see that I was being charged **$152-$156 to ship approximately 6-8 pieces of clothing.** This wasn't a case of me simply leaving my laundry behind. I was **forced to leave my belongings because the hotel's washing machine malfunctioned.** I contacted the hotel and explained that I was specifically told the hotel would take care of returning my belongings. I also explained that the issue was completely caused by their equipment not functioning properly. To make matters even more frustrating, I was working on the Little Giant fire and have a very limited amount of time at home before deploying again. Some of the items left behind include clothing and parts of my uniform that I actually need for my upcoming assignments. So getting these items back is not just a matter of convenience. I expected the hotel to take responsibility for a problem caused by their own equipment and honor what their front desk employee promised me. Instead, I was given conflicting information, poor customer service, and an absurd shipping charge. This could have been handled very easily, but the lack of communication and accountability has made the entire situation incredibly frustrating. **If your equipment breaks and your guest is forced to leave their belongings behind, the least you can do is stand behind your staff's promise to return them.** The apartment was not cleaned properly, the bathroom had water damage, smelled like pets - I didn't have many options to pick from in Chelan and had to stay there because I was working on the local wild fire. Very disappointing experience, and unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here.

We fell in love with Mr. Neil Diamond, the owner's kitty, who was introduced only after we made it clear we were a cat-friendly couple.
