They came to my house and made a repair on pvc pipe leaking and a couple of o rings that needed to be replaced. The original quote was 300 and they ended up charging me 438. The tech that came out was not able to figure out the angle on the pipe that he was replacing and ended up using a putty which I agreed to. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. My reason for my review not being a five is that the quote was nearly fifty percent more than anticipated for a simple pvc pipe repair and o ring replacement. I tried to speak to the company and they were not willing to come any closer to their original quote. Beware of the price you are quoted as it may end up much higher than expected. read more

Great company! I just moved from Austin to Temple and I wanted to buy a hot tub for my new house. I went to several places in Austin first; I kind of thought Austin would have a better selection since it's a bigger city but I just didn't really find what I was looking for. Did a wider search and reached out to LAPS for info on their spas and Daniel responded to me right away. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I knew what I wanted out of a spa but had no idea WHICH spa I wanted. He really helped me find one that would suit my needs and never made me feel like I was annoying him with my endless questions. Once the spa arrived, we set up a day for installation. I was a little pushy with the install date because I was having family visit at the beginning of October and wanted the spa installed by then. Daniel worked with me on this and ultimately we arranged a Saturday delivery which I'm sure was inconvenient for them but very much appreciated by me. Cody and Brian arrived on time and set it up for me. They were both so nice and friendly. They chatted with me, joked with me and made me feel like my faith was in the right people. They explained everything in great detail, answered more of my endless questions, and made sure I knew that if I had any additional questions or concerns after they left, they would happily assist. I haven't had to purchase any chemicals or had to reach out to them yet so I can't speak to the quality of service after install but if my experience with them so far is any indication, I know they will take great care of me in the future as well. Great customer service, very knowledgeable and everyone I've dealt with (Daniel, Brian, Cody and I think Ryan was the name of the guy who did the site visit) has been extremely helpful and SO NICE!!! Beware of Lake Air Pool Supply Waco. I would not recommend this company. We spent over $455 to get our pool cleaned in less than a week and a half it turned green. When I contacted the company and the owner they stated there's nothing else they can do for us. I would not suggest this pool company to anybody because it was a huge rip-off and a waste of our money and time. If they truly care about the customers they would have done things. read more

I called for service on my hot tub. They couldn't give me a time because according to Daniel they had to many deliveries to make. I guess there is no service after the sale. $100.00 minimum for service call, and that gets you 30 minutes of service then $85.00 per hour. Must be nice to make that kind of money. For 18 months now I have used LAPS. They will check water samples free every week. Staff is friendly. Place is extremely busy during season because they are good if not great on the retail side of the business. Only thing not good is they specialize on in ground pools. Above ground parts and equipment are lacking. I go there because all other places locally in Waco lack genuine customer service. ..... Swim planet in Robinson for above ground. Bellmead pools discourteous, rude, and don't follow through very often. read more

Horrible Horrible customer service for repairs! They tell you they are booked two weeks out unless you want to pay a huge emergency visit service fee. After four weeks and multiple calls to be told you are on our list to call we will get to you when we can we gave up and called Bellmead pools. After 5 weeks and a cement green pond with a frog breeding ground I never heard from them. I will never use them again for anything and I have been a customer for 10 years! read more

I would never use this company, unless you just want to get invoices, pay them, and not be able to use your pool. We have tried using them for several years for lack of other options, but with constant issues coming up. They promise they will fix things, do a good job for several months, then right back where we started. Most recently they came out and the very next day the pool was emptied down below the side drains and the pump is pumping air with our yard a swamp around the pump - the next day after they had come out and sent another invoice. At this point our pool has been non-usable for 6 weeks with repeated promises of we'll get back to you. Can't get in the hot tub because it smells like fish. Water green. Hot tub remote out for over a month. This is with them coming every other week continually promising it would be fixed. We took care of our pool for years without these issues. When we finally got someone on the phone about this latest debacle all we got was an attitude. Use anyone else. read more
