Unfortunately, the current system does the opposite. Why is only one screen available? Pickup lines have become noticeably longer as pharmacy technicians wait for customers to repeatedly enter information across multiple screens: first name, last name, birth month, birth day, and now even an additional screen to validate phone numbers and email addresses. I do not desire to scan a customer loyalty card. This violates my purchasing privacy. Despite the excessive inputs required, only one kiosk screen is available for use. This design flaw consistently results in lines 10-15 customers deep, while a technician stands by simply watching the slow process play out. This is an inefficient use of both technology and staff time. My recent experiences have made it clear that this system is hindering customer service rather than improving it. As a result, I will be moving my prescriptions elsewhere.

Eek. But otherwise, as a convenience store CVS, this place is great. Larry the manager is always extremely talkative and friendly, and all of the other staff in the front are great. They make a point of saying hi to everyone who walks in. The CVS doesn't have a cooler case like a lot do, which is a downside. However for being in a city it always seems clean and well stocked. They renovated it a few months ago and got rid of some of the cases and stands in the front, a needed improvement so people have a place to stand in line -- also looks cleaner. These ones were specifically from Rite Aid so I knew I could exchange them there. I left them at the counter and the girl told me I could exchange them for a different size so I went to get what I needed. When I came back, she was helping a customer so someone else did the exchange. She told me I had to pay 50% since I didn't have the receipt. That was such a disappointment considering they were a gift and my baby outgrew that size.
