If you are feeling in a bit of a posh mood, I can highly recommend the afternoon tea in Laduree - it's one of the better ones I have had.
We could both choose two macaroons (out of 10 flavours), two finger sandwiches and one tartlet. We thought that was it (plenty already), but on the bottom tier also appeared a madeleine each and a huge crossaint to share.
The mixed berry tart thing was my favourite I think, although I liked it all. The finger sandwiches were a bit boring though (just cheese and salmon) and had a ridiculous amount of butter on them.
It's a cute little café, but boy it's expensive. I doubt I will EVER spend 2 euro on one tiny macaroon. I might consider coming back for the berry cake though, at 6 euro I think it's worth it. read more
