We've been driving through Barons shopping center wondering when they might open. Finally opened last week. Very dicey times to open restaurant during the covid times. Very clean inside, course you have to eat outside or to go. Nice display of the food in the warming trays. They have greek beer and wine. I had a Greek IPA and reccomend. My wife had the gyro plate, lots of food and tasty lamb! She had enough left to take home (breakfast) I went with the gyro combo plate with mixed vegetables (grilled squash, bell peppers and red onion) my pick of sauce was tiziki of course. Good sized portions. The lamb was on a bed of rice pilaf and it came with two pieces of pita bread.....needed 4 pieces. Mgt let go of more pita bread with your meals! We recommend both dishes. My only complaint and this is due to the covid 19 is the tables were dirty when we set down. And I noticed no cleaning or wipe downs of any tables as patrons left. Mgt needs to step up thier house keeping. Due to this I have to take 1 star away. We will be back to try more items out and work our way down the menu. Good eats here at a reasonable price! Dog friendly to by the way. read more

Ladera Greek Kitchen - Gyro plate - Greek Near Me - Temecula, California

My husband and I are not from the area, but we were looking for a good Greek spot for lunch. This place is centrally located in Temecula at the corner of a shopping plaza. Parking will be a little tight as there are other competitive businesses in the area, but this place was very clean and had great curb appeal. They have a wide selection of Greek entrées, desserts and wines. I enjoyed the flavor of everything I ordered, including the fries, that were so delicious!!! You gotta try em'! read more

Food is excellent, fresh and flavorful. Priced reasonably for the portion you get. Great service no matter how busy they are. Highly recommend and support this local business. read more

Usually the food here is great. So I'm knocking it 2 stars down because just went here. The meat was over seasoned and not cooked well. Very chewy. They seemed to be rushing to get orders done and behind on orders. Maybe that's why? It's also much more expensive now! $50 for 2 entrees and a side, I could have spent that at a regular sit down restaurant! read more

Husband and I called in a pick up order and were not disappointed. I took away a star only because I wish it was cheaper. I would have given a half star if I could. The food was SO good! I thought the hummus was creamy and YUM, the rice was fluffy, perfectly cooked and had SO much flavor. I got the gyro/falafel combo plate. The gyro meat was flavorful and sliced thin. I do wish that I got more for the price though. I also got their lemon potatoes, which I'd never had before, but was not disappointed. They were tender! My husband got a similar plate, but with the spicy feta. I really liked that too. We will definitely go back! I want to try their sweets and some other sides! read more

I recently ordered from here via DoorDash. It was my first time ordering from here and it was pretty enjoyable. I ordered the chicken kabob meal with hummus and the veggies. I also ordered a small moussaka because it's one of my favorite greek dishes and it's hard to find. The chicken kabobs were amazing. I loved the veggies on the skewers between the meat. The veggie side was nicely seasoned. The moussaka was good but not great. It did come with a little side salad which was nice. The one thing I did not care for was the hummus. It was flavored too strongly of olives and not enough garlic. This food was enough for 3 meals due to the generous portion sizes. read more

My husband and I are always looking for good Greek food that's flavorful. We went here and this place doesn't disappoint. I ordered the Chicken skewers with rice and lemon potatoes and he got the steak skewers rice the eggplant dish. We got a side of beef grape leaves (Dolmades), and spicy feta. While we waited for our order another couple was at the table next to us and they got their order first. After a couple minutes I heard moaning as they were eating their food. I asked if the food was good explaining this was my first visit. They said it was their first time too. He had the beef Gyro with a salad and she had the shrimp meal. Both smiled and said the food was good. They will definitely be back! The beef grape leaves were ok not my fav. Everything else was tasty and we will definitely be back!!! Only con is they are stingy with the rice surprisingly. But it was so good!! Definitely worth checking this place out!!! read more

I like this place. I'm more of a harsh grader so 4 is super respectable from myself. With that said I got the Classic Gyro Pita and had zero complaints. I actually like that the Gyro meat was cut slightly thicker. It came out fresh and piping hot. Had the chicken skewer and it was really bland for my liking. Rice was also alright but not great. The "fries" here are potato wedges and they're delicious and cooked to order. The hummus was the biggest let down. Not good at all, way too much garlic, hard to even classify as hummus in my opinion. Other than that, I really enjoyed this place and would come back. People were professional and the restaurant was clean. read more

Love the Lamb skewers. This time I ordered the dinner without rice. I chose green beans instead with a salad and Baba dip. The lamb is tender and seasoned very well with good flavor. The green bean side is my favorite side dish. The salad was fresh as always. I also buy the Greek Feta block that's in the fridge. It's the best I have ever had. It is moist because it is in juice! See my photos.... So yummy! read more

Food is great, service sucks. Especially if one of the employees family is there. Everyone else was served their order, I had to get up and get mine don't know why I wasn't given the same privilege, I paid the same price. Not a place to go when short on time. read more

Visiting family and needed to feed tired kids after a day of swimming. We got their family meal, WOW, such a great idea! More than enough food to feed 4, with plenty of good leftovers to make use of. Everything was very good, fresh, delicious, and after a huge couple days of too much pork we needed salads, rice, chicken, hummus, etc. Excellent food, and a spectacular value. Thanks Ladera! read more

The food is delicious! The gyro meat is always juicy plus their tzatziki and hummus always add that extra flavor!

This visit was our first time here. The place looked new but has been operating for nearly two years. They opened in May of 2019 and rode out the pandemic. Staff was friendly and this small restaurant was shiny and clean. We ordered a Classic Gyro Pita and a Pork Souvlaki Pita to go. They were a bit pricey but with inflation these days it wasn't too bad. Both portions were large. I could not finish mine. I needed a fork to eat it. The interior had several tables and there were two or three outside as well. I think we could bring our pup and sit outside. All in all, not a bad place for lunch or take-out dinner. We will go again read more

Flavors that you wish you had on a daily because it is mouth watering food that gives you that Mediterranean home feel! My mouth is wanting more as I write this even though I'm full from the most generous portions filled with the most tantalizing freshness! Hands down the absolute best place in the Riverside county area!!! Oh and don't get me started on their desserts man I've died and gone to heaven!!! It is such a cute place with indoor and outdoor dining places to sit and enjoy! read more

Pick up and good portion and well cooked. Son enjoyed food immensely. Good service and will come in person another day.

I absolutely love Ladera. It never disappoints. The chicken is so tender, flavourful and delicious. The Greek Salad is great. My husband loves the gyros and fries. We often purchase the family meal. It serves 6 and it is a lot of food. The gourmet soda machine has great soda choices. The staff is always friendly and the restaurant is always clean. I would recommend you try this restaurant. Once you do, I am sure you will love it as much as our family loves it. read more

This place is a gem. Very clean, nice outdoor seating and the food is consistently fresh and delicious. Our entire family loves this place. They also offer a family meal which is a great value for our large family. Highly recommend! read more

Really good variety of Mediterranean cuisine. I was not disappointed. Friendly service. Cozy atmosphere. Something for everyone to enjoy.

I chose this place to take my wife, after a little research here on Yelp, who really enjoys Greek food. I have enjoyed Gyro sandwiches in the past and the rare times we go out for Greek I always chose a Gyro. After reading the reviews and checking out their menu I figured I would venture out and get something different. Did NOT happen! I could not make up my mind what to try, with all the tasty sounding options, so I reverted straight back to the Gyro. Prior to placing my order I observed a Greek salad being made and it looked so good and fresh I opted to get one of those as well. The pleasant woman taking my order asked if I wanted to do a combo, by adding the salad and getting a drink. I said sure and it actually saved me a couple of bucks had I gone a la carte. My wife said that all sounded good and ordered the exact same thing. So much for sampling something new off of her plate :-( Our food was brought to our table (you order at the counter), as we were dining in. These Gyro sandwiches were LOADED with goodness and very tasty! The salad was fresh, vibrant and also quite tasty. We both enjoyed our meals very much - BURP and two thumbs up! I liked my sandwich so much I actually ordered another one to take home for a midnight snack; and it was just as delicious a few hours later as the one I had on scene. The staff we interacted with were all quite amicable and seemed to enjoy their jobs. It got busy after about 5pm, on a weekday, inside the business and they were filling many to-go, pick-up and/or delivery orders that I observed. We will be back, as I am now a fan of Greek food, with plans to try some of the other Greek offerings and expand my horizons. What a big dummy I am for having never been here before, let alone for not bringing my wife here (she had not been here either) knowing she enjoys Greek food. Lastly, I have no idea the brand/makers of the sodas in the DIY dispenser but they are definitely gourmet tasting sodas - another BURP and two thumbs up. read more

It was a challenge trying to eat here. First time, I order Uber eats. My order was cancelled about 30 min later and the place then closed. Second time, I drove out, and it turns out they were closed. Third time was the charm. We ordered A TON of food, picked it up and brought it home. The gyro - 4/5. Needed a lot more sauce and the tomatoes were cut way way to big - like comically big. Made it super hard to eat. But delicious. Feta fries - 3/5. Flavor was good. The sauce and feta made them soggy in transport Home fries - 5/5. This is the way to go. Falafel - 3/5. Flavor was great - but like the feta fries, didn't travel well. Hummus - 1/5. Didn't care for it all. Rice - 2/5. Standard. Nothing to write home about Baklava cheesecake - 2/5. Way to sweet for me. I would absolutely come back just for the gyro and home fries. Both excellent. read more

So good! The food here is excellent. We ordered the gyro plate which was huge! It came with rice, gyro, taziki, Greek salad, and pita. It was fresh and delicious. We also ordered the gyro itself, and it was delicious too. You have to get the feta fries! Smothered in feta and olive oil, steaming hot, so delicious! The ambiance was nice, it is a clean restaurant. The service is quick and efficient. Such a delicious place! We will be back! read more

I haven't tried something so authentic and so wonderful in quite a while! Saw this place on my way to buy some bread next door and decided to check this place out and I'm honestly so happy I did! I ordered the yummy Gyro plate and chicken souvlaki sandwich. The gyro was perfect, usually they tend to be either too salty or too gamey due to overpowering lamb flavors but the Gyro here was just perfect! The chicken souvlaki was so moist and delightful as well. Let's give a big shout out to Brylee for our whole experience memorable and so lovely! Such great people and such great service! A must try and a definite revisit!! read more

CHECK YOUR TO GO ORDERS! I've eaten here for a long time. My wife picked up a to go order and the inconsistency of their portion size is vast! Last time I got a salad it was packed with greens and a protein. This time, the dressing container took up 1/4 of the to go box! Very little salad and 1/3 of the protein portion I received last time! read more

Ladera Greek Kitchen - A very small $17 salad - Greek Near Me - Temecula, California

This place was absolutely delicious. The service was great, and the restaurant was very clean. They have their own craft sodas and they are also delicious. I got the falafel wrap and it was the most delicious wrap I've had in Temecula. My mother had the chicken plate and the hummus was so good, the veggies were delicious, the oil sauce they add was amazing. I definitely recommend. read more

Love their Gyros. Can't go wrong with these. Consistent and always good. Clean restaurant and staff is always friendly.

I just ate here for the first time and the food was amazing. I had the gyro with everything plus some fries and a drink, it cost around 20 with a tip. The gyro was packed full of meat, easily enough to eat by itself. The service was fast and friendly. Very nice dinner! read more

It was my first time here and I ordered the pita with chicken. I ordered what it came with plus added, cucumber and hummus if I didn't add it, I would have been even more disappointed because with all of this on it, it is extremely flavorless and not worth $22 dollars. read more

Came here a few days ago as it was highly recommend by a few people in town. Location - Perfect location in a business complex to help you get a few errands done. Parking - Large parking lot with plenty of parking. Venue - Colors are very bright, decorating is very nive, and place is spotless as if it was brand new. Service - Great staff as I was greeted walking in, they explained the food taste and options, and always on top of our party making sure everything was good. Prices - Reasonable prices for the dishes and drinks. Food - was able to try a few plates and the taste was amazing, lots of great flavors, sauces, great portions and the bread was good. Overall great food and highly recommend it to others. read more

Normally my boyfriend and i love this place and go a couple times a month. Picked up two kids chicken skewer meals tonight and one of the meals had raw/under cooked chicken. Called to let them know & they offered to replace it, i asked for the steak skewer instead thinking that would be safer.. got home and cut the steak to find it was still raw, pretty much purple inside. They were quick to refund and apologize but still a little disappointed. read more

Yum! My husband and I love this place! Delicious Greek food, always fresh and great portions. I get the gyro plate and my husband gets the chicken. Both come with rice, salad and hummus. This place does not miss. We eat here 3-4 times a month. Quality food and very nice people. read more

I can eat here every day. And because the prices are reasonable for what you get, I could probably get away with it. I personally love the Pitas. My husband usually gets the plates. I get the greek salad for the next day. The taste is rich and they're so friendly. Would highly recommend. They're small, family owned and a local family who has been in town since the 90's. Finally something close to home! read more

I just enjoyed another fresh, delicious meal at Ladera Greek Kitchen. In fact, it's been our date night spot of choice for the past three weeks! We love the freshly prepared Slovaki, spanakopita, fantastic side dishes (the lemon potatoes are great!) and authentic Greek desserts. The food never looks or tastes like it's been sitting in a warmer, no matter what time I visit. The employees are friendly and keep the restaurant and restrooms clean. We really like how the manager (owner?) is clearly concerned about customer satisfaction. Last night was busy and our meal took a little while to prepare. We had no complaints, yet he was sincerely apologetic for the delay and surprised us with a few complimentary desserts to take home. This is a business that gets it right on every level, one I look forward to visiting again and again. read more
