We walked in and were a bit shocked to see how actually small this 'supercenter' is. It felt smaller than a regular Walmart... if that makes any sense? The only part that looked big was the garden area which we didn't really go through. It's also connected to a mini-mall which was different too. She pressed on saying it was no big deal, it was free and you could get 10% off if you signed and it's free. She then asked my husband a few questions, asked for his ss#, assuring him it was for verification purposes. The next thing we know she has processed us as a credit card. We are now hit with a hard inquire on his credit report, called the Reward line, paid off the amount immediately and now have to dispute with the credit bureaus. Worse part, we are already customers with Synchrony Bank and had a hard inquiry as an existing customer anyway!! Beware of the deceitful practice and shame on them for their unprofessional and predatory practices. Be sure to say NO for their rewards card, it is a credit card that they present in a misleading manner.
