The questionably bearded guy working the Starbucks looked me dead in the eyes, didn't say a word, walked away, and proceeded to flirt with his coworker instead of help me standing at the counter. (The only person in line) They didn't even get a chance to mess up my coffee because he didn't even bother taking my order. I don't think he even noticed me walking away.

Didnt even get to play a game because they created so many issues for us. Both myself and my date were more than displeased, I had to split my sandwhich. we came hungry and left hungry with a side of bad taste in our mouth from the owners rude attitude and lack of business ethics. Food bad, basic food that's overly expensive, small portions except for large portions of cheap bad ingredients chips. They don't know the difference between spring mix and sauted spinach or was just very old, slimy, wilted. We regret choosing this place. Ridiculous experience and business owner who certainly does not have any education or experience around food or business. As someone who's worked in both I'm disgusted by this experience, especially coming from the owner. She wouldnt even remake the sandwich or ma a different one which either way would have been cheaper than the one she had to take off the bill and throw away anyway. so they knew we left hungry and continued being rude. The owner said if she remade it then you'd be getting a free one. there was 2 bites taken out of the sandwich and the second was very forced after trying to take out the spinach which was not spring mix. they didn't try to make things right when we let go split my sandwich and both looked upset to even be there. we wanted to leave and honestly should have. I called today and the owner started raising her voice telling me that she said she'd make it when clearly that did not happen. You don't raise your voice when you're talking about an issue you created for someone else and not only didn't fix but continue to keep making more havoc. We just wanted a meal and to play a game. Neither of which happened- Did leave feeling played, but not the right kind haha- Do not give this business your money.

I got the turkey, bacon, and avocado on a baguette, and my dad got the smash burger. The service was excellent from start to finish. Both lunches came with fries, which I don't think were house-made, but that's fine, as they were cooked perfectly. The real stars were the sandwiches. Mine was excellent in every way, from the baguette to the meats, the pickled onions, the cheddar, and the aioli. It all came together in such a delicious way. My dad raved about how good his smash burger was. If I had to find anything negative, it would be that it is not inexpensive, but it's also not unreasonable for the quality of the food. If you want a cheap lunch, this isn't the place. If you want a really good lunch with some locally made products, I don't think you will be disappointed. I sure wasn't.

While researching breakfast spots in Essex Junction for our weekend getaway, we came across…read moreUncommon Coffee and were encouraged by the strong reviews. When we arrived, the parking lot was busy, which felt like a great sign. It was a Saturday morning, so there was a short wait to order and to grab a table, but the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. The interior is eclectically decorated and has a cozy, fun vibe that reminded us of the coffee shop in the Friends TV show. We ordered a brewed coffee and an iced coffee--both were excellent--and really appreciated the option of Vermont maple syrup and oat milk. For food, we ordered a regular breakfast sandwich and the Forager vegan breakfast sandwich. We were especially impressed to see a vegan breakfast option on the menu, as many places don't cater to vegans at all, particularly for breakfast. Both sandwiches were delicious, and it was great to feel so thoughtfully accommodated. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would happily recommend Uncommon Coffee to friends. We just wish it were closer to home so we could visit more often!

We ordered a medium chai latte and a medium hot chocolate as well as the lone cannoli that somehow knew my name and was whispering it until I bought it! The dough shell of the cannoli was completely stale and the taste was not worth the $7-something I paid. It misled me by its tantalizing looks! The fresh beverages were delicious and hot and hit the spot, so there's that!
