Croissant. Huge but not flaky still tasty
    Shelbie C.

We are doing our traditional family coffee taste off here in Burlington. Brio is our first stop. It's tasty. The cardi V latte with cardamom is fantastic and comes with these tiny shreds of sugared orange on the side that are also amazing. The croissant we ordered was huge. But... not flaky. Looks like it will be but it didn't have that satisfying crunch and flakiness we prefer. However what a delicious breakfast at about 11$

Stopped by a couple of mornings during my stay in Burlington. The macchiato and summer blend drip coffee is very good. My favorite was the chaff snow I experienced while sitting outside- smells amazing. It's nice to be able to walk in with my dog- appreciate that!

Authentic coffee! If you're looking for a spot that truly values espresso creation, this is the spot! I tried their mocha and my friend got the espresso and it was great! SO fresh and the customer service was amazing. I was inquiring about the oat milk and he gave me a sample of it without even asking! I also tried the strawberry cheesecake macaroon and it was delicious! A must try! I didn't see any outlets but there are plenty of tables inside the coffee shop.

Spectacular, Phenomenal, Pleasantly Superb are just a few ways to describe Brio Coffeworks. I've been in Burlington for two days seeking the best coffee..... FOUND IT!!!!!! Everything about my experience at Brio was above and beyond. From the offerings, to the atmosphere, right down to the excellent conversation with Magda! The recommended offering was the Mexico Chiapas, and it absolutely satisfied the coffee vacancy I longed to fulfill. Magda is one of the owners, and it was pleasant speaking with her about different offerings and processes. She's quite knowledgeable and very personable! The Ethiopia Ardi was my whole bean offering of choice, and I cannot wait to try it with some of the methods recommended! Magda was also kind enough to recommend other spots to enjoy while in Burlington! Again, I cannot say enough good things about Brio Coffeeworks!!! Go check them out, you will thank yourself!!!! They're quite possibly the best coffee and roaster in town!!!

We were in the mood for lunch and they were only serving breakfast that Sunday. So, we opted for the most lunch-ish thing available that wasn't too heavy. Bagels and cream cheese. They were perfectly toasted and there was plenty of spreadable cream cheese. It made for a perfect light lunch. I don't eat eggs, so it did limit my options. If you do eat eggs, their breakfast dishes with eggs look amazing. Of course, we tried the coffee. It was very good and we loved the mugs. The place is rustic-charming. The service was good. It's a busy place. We loved the regulars who stopped in and didn't even need to say what they wanted. The servers already knew. The service is good but slow. Not sure if that's because they were busy or if they're just not the type to rush things. The bathrooms are clean. There is an up-charge for credit cards. It's hard to resist buying mugs and coffee to take home. The cookies were so hard to resist we bought some to keep us snack-happy on our travels. Definitely a good place to stop.

While I haven't had the opportunity to try the entire menu just yet, I can say confidently the home fries live up to the hype. I understand why they're called home fries because they reminded me of home. It looks like they're doing some renovation on the second floor, I wonder if that'll result in even more seating. If that's the case then it'll take this cafe to the next level.

While researching breakfast spots in Essex Junction for our weekend getaway, we came across…read moreUncommon Coffee and were encouraged by the strong reviews. When we arrived, the parking lot was busy, which felt like a great sign. It was a Saturday morning, so there was a short wait to order and to grab a table, but the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. The interior is eclectically decorated and has a cozy, fun vibe that reminded us of the coffee shop in the Friends TV show. We ordered a brewed coffee and an iced coffee--both were excellent--and really appreciated the option of Vermont maple syrup and oat milk. For food, we ordered a regular breakfast sandwich and the Forager vegan breakfast sandwich. We were especially impressed to see a vegan breakfast option on the menu, as many places don't cater to vegans at all, particularly for breakfast. Both sandwiches were delicious, and it was great to feel so thoughtfully accommodated. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would happily recommend Uncommon Coffee to friends. We just wish it were closer to home so we could visit more often!

I was not sure what to expect from this flavor combo but it was really good and balanced. The latte was smooth and perfect amount of creaminess as well. I really enjoyed it. The next day I ordered an iced latte with vanilla from Essex Resort which uses the beans from here and that latte tasted great as well!
