    Iced Maple Latte

Looking for a latte and saw on Yelp that Muddy Waters was highly rated. The inside is absolutely beautiful. Loved the wood decor and plants and...creatures? lol Whatever they are, it made it feel unique. There was no line and service was pretty quick. I tried the maple latte (when in Vermont, how can you not try everything Maple?). I'm glad I got the small, the espresso was pretty good, but not sure if it would be my regular choice. I would love to try other flavors or their coffee. Overall, would come back to try more.

One of the best coffee shops in the country ! Juices and food are also a plus. But best part is their highly curated music. Never have I heard such amazing music on a radio station, or coffee shop or a live concert. Just didn't want to leave.

Cool vibes at this place, great place to hang out. my Expresso Con Panna quite good. Kind of New Age music, it fits the place.

Such a cute little spot. Didn't even know it was a cafe because of the really cool monster art figures they have throughout the store. My toddler loved the monsters. Ordered a carrot, apple, ginger juice. It was ok. Very strong ginger flavor and I just wish it was colder. Toddler chugged it though, as he never gets juice. Also got the parfait , which was delicious (granola was very good and tasted home made). Would love to try some of their other menu options

Good coffee and great environment! I love that there's little notes hidden in the walls.

My favorite cafe in Burlington. I love the vibe of this place. It's so nice and cozy and the iced coffee is the best.

I got the small signature hot chocolate which was delightfully rich and delicious. It was so rich, I don't think I could have had a bigger size if I wanted to. I was surprised to see that the ingredients included a great deal more than chocolate and hazelnut praline. Actually, I was disappointed because we all know it's difficult to get exquisite chocolate here in the United States, I thought Lake Champlain chocolates were a cut above. I looked at the ingredients after I took a bite of the chocolate with hazelnut praline filling because it did not taste right; it tasted like it had other stuff in it besides high quality chocolate and hazelnut praline filling. I looked at the label and sure enough it has a LOT of other stuff in it that should not be in it. I took a photograph of the front and back of the labels but I don't know if I'll be able to upload it. Before you buy, if you are a purist like me, I recommend you read the labels. At least I can tell you that the ingredients included wheat, soy beans, peanuts, and other things that really shouldn't have been included. I am soooooooooo disappointed. Unfortunately, I shall not be buying any Lake Champlain chocolates anymore because I want to buy the real thing. I don't want to buy American corporate reductionist products that just don't measure up. I am actually very sad ...

I was lured here because someone said it was better than Bistro de Margo; it was not. Service was good from the server and poor from the bus boys and kitchen. The kitchen failed in many ways. Could I give it fractional scorse it would be 2.6. The server was good and had a phenomenal memory to take all our orders with no notes. Wow! The three appetizers were delivered out of order. One came. Fast forward 20 minutes; the remaining two came out. The appetizer dishes were never cleared. They hung around until we decided not to have desert! The appetizers were underwhelming; how can you screw up a Caesar salad? The main courses disappointed in many ways. The dishes were serverd luke warm. Mussels were dehydrated on top of the heap and obvioulsy sat under a heat map. The steaks were cooked well but accompaniments were cold, cool, or barely warm; take your pick none were appetizing. The plates were stone cold which didn't help. Finally after dinner was served and eaten and plates cleared for deserts we did not order the remaining plates and debis were cleared from the table. Not good. Not professional. Not worth the money. The wines were good. The beer was good. Dinner came to $275 plus another $60 tip. It wasn't worth it. There is clealry issues in the kitchen and staff. They were simply not into it. I would not come back. If you want a French dinner look elsewhere or just don't try that in Burlington.
