10 Stars. Probably even 15. More? I can't possibly say enough good things about this place. I so want to write out how my entire day went but I already know it'll surpass the character limit. :) This is long but explains their process. Hopefully it's helpful! To make a long story short, Lace was the very first place I went to start the wedding dress shopping process. They raised that bar REAL high. Annie, my new bestie, took the BEST care of us. We were immediately offered champagne and taken to our own private area to start the conversation. We talked through my likes and dislikes. From there, Annie took me to the dresses. She helped give the right amount of feedback for consideration and always kept in mind my price range. She helped me get in and out of each dress and made sure everything lay perfect when we came out to show the group. I was semi overwhelmed (in a good way) towards the end of the appointment and knew I had one more place to go. I only went to the other store because it had a couple specific dresses I really wanted to try (that they ended up not even having...but that's a conversation for another day), even though I was pretty convinced I wanted to spend my money here (at Lace). To make a long story short and without naming names, having the largest inventory in the country doesn't mean a thing if you cant provide the level of service a smaller boutique can. The benefit of going to the other shop was it helped me realize what was missing from my top choice at Lace (the ONLY positive about going to the other shop). We made a quick trip back to Lace to talk through my concerns. She literally dropped what she was doing to help me. They let me try 2 more dresses and of course, the last one was it. On top of it, she AND the owner worked their tails off to get me the best price they possibly could because they knew it was a little more than I wanted to spend. Full disclosure, it was totally OK for her sell me on it because my REAL budget (set by my mother who was actually paying for it) was still a couple thousand more than this dress ended up being. I'm the rare occasion where the BRIDE is the one being frugal and mom is the one paying and telling the bride to spend more. Lol My family is big on customer service and when we love a business we will yell it from the rooftops. This is us SCREAMING. Even my future MIL, who doesn't have any girls and hasn't gone through this experience, was emotionally appreciative of how they treated us. She told them it was what she had always dreamed the process would feel like and she never thought she would get the chance to experience it herself. The sweet, sweet owners, the managers and the staff are just incredible. Next year, when they're closed on Saturday, August 10, it's because we've invited them all to my wedding. Had a wonderful experience at Lace and am happy to have said yes to my dress there! The staff was so warm, accommodating and not at all pushy. I ended up needing to come back later in the day after going to appointments at two other nearby boutiques when I knew that the dress at Lace was the right one for me. Though I didn't have an appointment when I came back, they made a way for the stylist to put me back in the dress so I was sure before ordering. It was perfect! I loved the veil and belt I ordered to go with it. They kept my wedding date (short timeline) in mind the whole time we were shopping without making me feel like an inconvenience and ensured that the dress I chose would arrive on time. WOW JUST WOW. I went to Lace after several unsuccessful trips to local bridal boutiques. I was looking for a gown that hands down, was nothing like I'd ever seen. I had started to lose interest in getting a gown from a boutique because no one really listened to what I was saying. I was nervous because my boyfriend and I were planning a wedding before we actually got engaged, (Which caused an eyebrow raise or two from other potential vendors). As soon as I walked in Annie was waiting for me and greeted me by name. She took me back, offered me drinks and just chatted with me while I waited for my bridesmaids to join us, asking me questions I hadn't been asked before. She didn't flinch when I said I wasn't engaged yet, but planning. She smiled and said, do whatever works for your life, and complimented my proactive nature. Once my girls arrived she handed us all drinks and walked us to the section of the floor that had the style and price range of the dresses I was looking for. After we pulled a few, she pulled a beautiful gown that she admitted wasn't what I initially asked for but after talking to me she thought this gown had the BAM WOW that I was looking for. After trying on a few dresses, some fit, some did not. I am a size 12 and understand that not all of the samples will match my body, however, I never had to hold any dresses in front of me rather than actually put them on. We tried the BAM WOW dress on towards the middle and there wasn't a dry eye in the place. I felt beautiful, unique and like a bride. Annie made sure to pop on a veil so I'd get the full experience, even though I wasn't sure I wanted one. Now I know I do. The dress purchasing process was a breeze and she gave me a list of the prefered tailors as well which saved me time. Although I ultimately ended up finding my dress at at different boutique, I still wanted to rave about my experience at Lace & especially with Blake. She gave me the best bridal experience I could have asked for, really making me feel special and went out of her way to make our appointment so perfect and make me feel really comfortable. I am truly saddened that I have to write this review. I am not in the habit of complaining. That being said, I must warn others of the unethical business practice of Lace Bridal Couture. My daughter chose a dress at Lace on 6/9/22. She is the first of my three daughters to get married so all is new to us. I completed the demographic information and handed the paper to the sales associate (one of three present). The sales associate flipped the page and handed it back telling me to sign the back. Never once did any of these staff members review the final sales policy; they were busy trying to get their card reader to work. Less than 3 hours later we returned to the store and asked the associate to cancel the order. I did not leave with a dress nor did a dress exist. Haley was very nice but explained that she would have to discuss with the owner. Again, this was less than 3 hours later and I asked that she document that on the paperwork. She assured me that she did so. I called every day thereafter. Today I spoke to an assistant manager who told me that there was nothing more they could do. She also said that she was sure that an associate "sat down and reviewed the policy" with us. I can unequivocally say that no one reviewed the policy. I could understand if it was a week later. Again, I did not leave with a dress nor did a dress exist in that 3 hour time frame. I am in a service profession. I could never in good conscious treat someone in such a manner. I'm proud to say that I was raised better than that and I raised my daughters to be good people. Good people can see the wrong in this situation. I am hoping that the owner is aware. read more

I said YES to the dress at Lace bridal and could not be happier with my entire experience from start to finish. The store itself is very cute and clean. During covid the staff took the necessary precautions and wore their masks. The rooms were spaced out which gave us peace of mind. Katie was extremely helpful and considerate. She was never pushy and valued making me happy instead of just making the sale. When my dress came in it was even more beautiful than I remembered and it came in an entire month early. We had a late appointment at Lace Bridal, but our previous appointment actually ended early so we decided to see if they could take us an hour early. They were super accommodating and let us come in! The girl helping us was so sweet, I really liked her. After we talked budget and style, she offered us a glass of rose, and she even left the entire bottle for our group! She went and picked dresses for us, so all we had to do was relax. As the name suggestions, their selection of dresses is more "lace-y", so if you're looking for *sparkle* this might not be it. The sales associate was super upfront with us and said that if we want shine and sparkle, that she had already shown us her most sparkly dresses. She was so nice, and I appreciate her taking the time to help us even though we didn't find the dress here. I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Lace. When I walked in I didn't even think I wanted to try any of the dresses on as they seemed to be much more vintage looking than what I was looking for. However, one of the associates, Corie (sp?), asked me what styles I liked and my price range and pulled a few dresses for me to try. They were all amazing! I absolutely loved the third one I tried and it stayed in the back of my mind for the rest of the day while trying on dresses. They offered us wine while we tried, but we had to get going. We stopped back at the end of the day to retry the dress I liked. Corie greeted me with a smile and they had wine and the dresses all ready for us to go! She and Kelly, the owner, gushed over me as I tried on the dress and showered me with compliments the entire time. I told them I was going to come back anytime I was having a bad day because they know how to make a girl feel good about herself! They made the experience exactly what it should be. Fun, relaxing and as important as the dress itself. I bought my dress and the owner even comped the shipping charge since I live in Charlotte. Buying a wedding dress is fun, and Lace Bridal only makes it better. I had my appointment with Kelly, who is the owner and is absolutely phenomenal. I ordered my dress two weeks ago so I haven't received it yet, but I couldn't be happier with the process associated with my purchase. Kelly travels all over the country to attend wedding dress conventions to choose the dresses she will carry in her shop. She only makes deals with designers who will allow her to be the exclusive carrier of their gowns, so the selection at Lace Bridal Couture is unique from everything else you will find in the tri-state area. Additionally, Kelly is extremely warm, welcoming, and encouraging. She first listened to what I described that I wanted and then helped me pick out a variety of options. At no point in time did she steer me towards a dress that was out of my stated price range. She was always encouraging and positive, although she did not try to "lie" to me and say that everything looked 100% on me. Throughout the appointment I felt as though she was genuinely trying to find me the dress that fit my vision, my body, and my personality. After I bought the dress, Kelly took a photo of me and my parents, which I thought was really cute. And then, a week later, I received a hand written card in the mail from her saying how much she enjoyed the shopping experience and that she was thrilled she could be part of my day. This was the first place I came to try on dresses. I was terribly sick and should have cancelled but I was determined to come since my mom and sister came from out of town. Christina worked with me and was so kind and understanding. I left liking a few dresses but needed to see more. After having been to MANY bridal stores I can tell you Christina is the best of the best. She was great at helping me get the dresses on which I cannot say for everyone. She also helped push me to try things I may not have and I ended up liking them. She has a good eye and was an excellent listener. As I said, I went to many other salons after this one but finally after several months of no luck I came back here. I was lucky enough to get to see Christina again and we chose my dress that day. It was a dress they didn't carry but I was able to try on others by the designer. Such a wonderful experience! I worked with Ann, who upon arrival, offered me complimentary champagne and took time to listen to what it was I was looking for. She asked to see pictures and helped me as we started sorting through some dresses. Their selection is beautiful and varies in both price ranges and styles. Sadly, living very far from friends and family, I was unable to bring anyone to my appointment. It was nice to have Ann's opinions on some of the gowns I tried on though. My initial experience was good. We found the perfect dress and was helped by two lovely employees. They told me to budget about $500 for alterations. Ten months later we arrived for our first fitting. First of all, we were not notified they had moved to a larger store. We had our first fitting which was close to $700. After our final fitting I ended up paying close to $900 for alterations. The seamstress did a wonderful job but paying half of the cost of my daughters dress on alterations was ridicules. Maybe they needed to pay for their new location. All the personal attention we got at the old location was gone. Beautiful dresses but get alterations done somewhere else. This review is long overdue. In September, I came to Cincinnati to shop for my wedding dress. I had appointments scheduled at two stores in the Reading Bridal District and Lace Bridal Couture was my second appointment. During my first appointment I found my dress, however, I didn't want to rush into a decision without seeing all my options. When I got to Lace Bridal, I was introduced to Ashley. She was so kind and it felt like she really cared about what I wanted. We pulled some beautiful dresses and I started trying them on. Ashley could tell I wasn't overly thrilled with any of them, and asked if I had found another dress I liked at my first appointment. I told her yes and showed her a picture. She quickly started to pull some similar options she thought I might like. We tried on a few more, but the dress at the other store was still on my mind and Ashley could tell. She pulled me aside and told me that as much as she would love to sell me my wedding dress, the other dress was the one for me. Her honesty and genuine compassion absolutely made my day! I purchased my wedding dress last year at Lace Bridal Couture and had a great experience there. All the staff were so nice and friendly. I originally went there because I had admired the Sarah Seven brand of dresses and I knew they sold them there. I also knew that most of their dresses were way over my price range. I walked in and told them what my price range was and they were honest about what options I would have there and very accommodating. I enjoyed the small boutique feel and the personalized experience. The other bridal stores I visited were so large and overwhelming and the staff treated you more like a number than a person, in my opinion. I had the opposite experience at Lace. Lace is much more relaxing and fun and what the experience of trying on and choosing a wedding dress should be like! Turns out I did not even choose a Sarah Seven dress or the style of dress I originally thought I wanted! I found a Pronovias dress in my price range that I loved, went to other stores to look around, and ended up right back at Lace to buy the dress! I have to say that I had the most amazing experience at Lace yesterday. It was my third appointment in two days, and to say I was exhausted and overwhelmed would have been an understatement. When I made my appointments, we were shooting for an October wedding, and I thought I was getting ahead of the game with my shopping. However, our plans quickly changed, and we decided to elope to Scotland in May! I walked into Lace, and we very nicely greeted by Kelly, the owner. I arrived a little early, but she was happy to help. I told her my time restrictions, as well as needing the dress to be functional for some outdoor trekking as we will be getting married in a secluded scenic spot. Showed her a couple examples, and she immediately went to the wall and showed me three dress that she knew I could get in the time frame, that were in my price-range, and fit my "theme" perfectly. After the first two appointments - feeling rushed, not listened to, hustled, I was really feeling like the whole wedding dress shopping experience was a really NOT fun thing. But Kelly really turned that around, and not only did I pick the perfect dress, but I left thinking "that is exactly how this experience should be". So, thank you Kelly, and the team at Lace. Found a dress I loved here with an over skirt. I put down my credit information so all I had to do was call in a few days to tell them I'd take it! I needed to at least sleep on it. The overskirt was off the rack and the last one they had. I went in 4 days later to try it on for my future mother in law, only to find that they had just sold the over skirt. I was upset that they had sold it out from under me. They promised they would hold it and I even gave them my credit card. I bought my dress from Lace in October of 2014 and had an incredible experience. It was a rainy Friday and my mom, Aunt and I had already visited 4 other stores. I had my engagement photos earlier that morning, tried on around 30 wedding dresses and by the time we got to Lace, I was exhausted and hungry. Nonetheless, I immediately felt comfortable and at home when we walked in. The two ladies who helped me (I can't remember their names) were phenomenal. They gave my mom and Aunt each a glass of wine and let them get comfortable while we went to work. I fell in love with every dress I tried on at all 5 stores that day but at Lace the gowns were different. They're unique, top of the line and beautifully made. I ended up buying the very last gown I tried on, a Pronovias gown that had just been released, The prices are boutique prices so expect to pay around 1,500 - 2,000 for your dress but the quality, service and unique styles are so worth it. I would go here again and again if I had my choice. I believe we did make an appointment here but since it was rainy weather and a Friday they weren't busy so they might be able to accommodate a walk-in as long as it's not a Saturday. HORRID and RUDE! I visited in AUGUST 2016 and "Sandra" was the bridal consultant, who after being told I did not want anything overt, but was looking for beautiful, elegant, and understated, chose gowns that had lace flowers over the size of a baseball. After I told her this was too much lace (the HUGE size of the lace pattern itself was NOT subtle or elegant), she snottily said, "Well, the name of our store IS Lace Bridal Couture". After three rounds of trying on dresses, with her STILL not seeming to have a sense of the style I wanted, SANDRA told ME she was done (after barely an hour)! In fact, she started helping someone else who walked in the door. Incredible that they are still in business...but I was more than happy to get away from someone who clearly was NOT listening.
