Scheduled my appointment online through my portal. Got there and tried to sign in. They told me doctors orders were not in their system even though I called and verified ahead of time. I pretty much got seen as a walk in. Thank God I had my lab orders with me! read more

I registered my appointment for 12:45 pm, for routine blood work. Upon arrival, I was told to re-register. You register when you make an appointment, and upon arrival you have to re-register ? Afterwards, I looked at the screen, displaying Appointments and Walk-Ins. My name appeared as a Welk-In. Somebody altered my status from Appointment to Walk-In. Only when I requested they changed it back to Appointment, they did so. Next: The blood drawing person switched my fasting status to non-fasting, alleging I was drinking orange juice. I was driking water with a non-sugar, non-fat, non-sodium Kool-aid powder, orange colored. I was fasting for 12 hours. "You can argue with your doctor", she said. I emailed my doctor right away. In addition, I requested she removed her alteration, and wrote fasting. These serial problems I have with Labcorp are all related to Janine, who has been discriminating against me openly, after I complained about her poor blood drawing skills. She can't draw blood, and in addition, she is a psychopath. She attacked me verbally at Walmart, necessitating a police report. Now she is trying to gang up staff members against me, as she herself is not permitted to discriminate against me further, and is not allowed to attack me either. I will continue to report everything here. This matter is inching closer to a DISCRIMINATION LAWSUIT. I see, many others have very similar problems with Labcorp. Report them all here ! Do NOT let them discriminate against you. Don't allow them to abuse you. File complaints with the BBB, etc. read more

What a clown show. I've gone to them several times and with each time there was something to make my experience annoying at best. Not only can they not find your doctor's fax if you had the doctor send it in a couple days ahead but if there is a test not covered by Medicare they bill you without turning it in to your advantage plan. I will never go to them again they are poorly managed and difficult to deal with. I'll drive the extra 57 miles the next time I get blood work. I paid them the $464 dollars they didn't turn in to my advantage plan because I assumed as poorly managed as they are if I refused they would turn me into collections and screw up my credit. I will eventually get reimbursed but it makes me feel sorry for the people they treat like cattle that don't have the resources and experience to deal with their collective incompetence. read more

Earlier this year I made an appointment, when I arrived I was asked who sent me. I said the wellness center, they told me they didn't have an order. I went to the wellness center but they had closed for lunch, went back to labcorp and was told I could wait until the wellness center opened again. I told them my wife has Alzheimer's and can't be left alone for more than an hour. They said they would get me in and out first thing in the morning. Called the wellness center when I got home, they said the order was sent the week before. Went back to labcorp and they said no order was received, went to the wellness center where they showed me the order had been delivered. Too help me, they canceled the order and sent a new order to labcorp. I checked in on the pad where it said my insurance was Etna which it is not . The receptionist told me ( it's been doing that all week) fast forward to today I have to take my wife in for an appointment ( it takes about three hours to get her fed, showered, dressed and into the car. Arrived fifteen minutes early checked in, looked at the screen, it listed her as a walk in . Waited over an hour before we left. Every chair was full people were standing, people were waiting outside. The receptionist said they were short handed. Why not tell people, reschedule, something. I'm so over this repeated behavior read more

Every time I go to Labcorp the people there are very friendly. Making an appointment online is easy. I've had different people draw my blood and all of them knew what they were doing. read more

I have chronic kidney disease so I'm at LabCorp about every 3 months or so. Waiting hadn't been too bad over the years, I'm normally in and out inside of an hour. However, this time, I sat for an hour and a half and was never called to present my lab order, so I went to the front desk and was told they wouldn't have any openings until after three PM, so I just walked out. I noticed the staff was all new, only one person at the front desk, but they had four lab techs working. The old staff had been able to get people in and out a lot faster, wonder what changed? Checking on GlassDoor showed a lot of staff turnover, also LabCorp is almost completely owned by institutional investors who want to consolidate services beyond just blood tests at their locations. I think I'll change to Avalon in the future. read more

Don't put you can do walk in appointments when you can't! Cost me $20.00 round trip from my house! Labcorp does exactly what they are supposed to do and they almost always do it with a smile and kind word. The one thing I don't like is that you used to be able to walk in w-o an appointment and get served with no problem usually within an hour. But the last 3 times I have walked in w/o an appointment, I checked in and, in 1 instance, after a 2.5 hour wait I had to leave for an appointment. One of the other times I had to leave after waiting around 2 hours. Things haven't changed all much from my perspective as a patient - so the change is across the counter. On the 3rd occasion when I did get in after a bit over an hour - the care was excellent as always. read more

I walked in at 12:30 pm today for pre-surgery labs. There was one patient sitting in the waiting room. I tried to check in and I was told that they were only taking appointments. I tried to explain how difficult it was for me to walk and asked if he would make an exception. He said no. This is just laziness. read more

Instead of checking me in and looking to see if I had an order, they let me sit in the office for an hour and a half and then told me oh there's no order and I said and why didn't you give me in and get the order first before we even made me sit here for an hour and a half oh well I'll tell my supervisor they can update the system no it's not acceptable to make someone sit there and wait for an hour and a half for no damn reason read more

Don't bother making an appointment. Bring some reading material because you have a wait ahead of you

Used the online appointment, showed up and checked in as instructed and waited for a text from them and after an hour went in told the lady I was already checked in and when I tried to turn in my paperwork is was brushed off and told to wait until called. Then noticed my name was not even listed in the tv display. Finally went back up and told them my appointment was an hour and a half ago and I still haven't been called or texted. Then they said the online app isn't working! Told I would be next but 5 people that came in after me were called! This place is one disorganized joke. read more

Unbelievable my mother waited close to 2 1/2 hours, my mother was overlooked after checking in. They told her Appointments first since we were walkins, but there was people that walkins that were seen before my mother. They also stated her paperwork was lost WTF!!!... I call it unacceptable even after she went up to the counter to see if they forgot about her and they just gave her a little cup to pee.... Such bullshit. I don't recommend this place to nobody. Thinks have changed! My labcorp experience was wonderful. I was greeted warmly, check-in was easy, and I didn't have to wait very long. The technician knew what she was doing and drew my blood easily and pain-free. Keep up the good work! read more

As soon as I walked in, the older woman with bangs and glasses at the front just yells out "if you don't have an order on paper I can't do anything everything is down look it up on the internet it's nationwide". I didn't know that the internet being down also meant customer service would be impacted as well. read more

This place is a joke. Made an online appointment only to wait over an hour to even give urine. After that is a longer wait. This place is an extremely long wait. I drove someone here for blood work. I normally use Quest or Beaver. My problem with LabCorp is several. Kiosk checking is layer 1. That asks for payment. my providers never do. They bill my insurance. Layer 2 is a human asking same or similar questions as Kiosk without kiosk answers in front of them. Layer 3 called in a third time this time for another higher payment. keep in mind this is an ordered blood test by a doc under Obamascare. 4th call the blood test. patients not taken in order despite appointment only. NO!! Bad review. read more

It's a lab that does blood panels and urinalysis. For what it is, I found it to be a fairly pleasant experience. The facility was clean, staff was professional and efficient, and there was lots of parking. The person who drew my blood was very skilled and quick- no rooting around with the needle even though I'm perpetually dehydrated and have small veins. I was able to make an appointment online, also, so arrived at 0837 and was out the door by 0904. One star removed because the waiting area was pretty crowded considering we're still in a pandemic. Nearly everyone had a mask on except for, of course, the woman who plopped herself down in the empty chair beside me and proceeded to loudly smack her lips and exhale heavily. Staff did provide her with a mask at some point, I believe, but... really? Also, kiosks weren't working but took up a considerable amount of space so there was even less room to spread out safely. read more

Save your self and head down the hill. This is the SLOWEST Labcorp in existence. You'd think peeing in a cup or drawing blood would move a little faster but I suppose not. But per usual Yucca Valley fashion nothing is ever done with priority or speed. Expect to sit there for hours to have simple tests taken care of. I know it's a hassle to have to head down the hill, but at least you won't have to be sitting for hours while the woman sitting at the counter gets her head out of her ass. read more

Madison's a great tech and very personable. Getting lab work done is never fun, but she definitely makes it enjoyable each time.

I went with an appointment and waited 30 minutes. When I got to the chair, the text came back to tell me they had run out of the required collection equipment. No offer to call when they had it, which I need urgently, and just told me to call around to other lab corps to see if they were stocked with what they should always have. It was a draw for a blood culture. Not unusual but obviously they have no inventory controls. read more

Said I had to have a mask and being a medical facility you would think they'd have those. NO! Lady behind the counter all but yelled at me, let her know I walked there I don't have one she just shrugged her shoulders. Whatever. A little help would have been nice. read more

Painless, comfortable, safe, and professional. These attributes make this facility exceptional.

I had a good experience from the nice and helpful receptionist, easy checkin, i waited maybe 5min in total. Mariam drew my blood before I it knew she had drawn the blood for the 10 or so tests and with no pain. That is a plus since at prior visits to lab corps in lower dez theyv'e had a hard time drawing from me. thanks YV labcorp read more

I had an ABSOLUTELY AWFUL experience at labcorp today. I scheduled my appointment online, arrived early to my appointment, registered at the self-service kiosk then was "checked in" with the front desk staff. I waited 30 minutes and noticed others who had arrived after me were being called back for their appointment. I approached the front desk staff where the 'site coordinator' was sitting and was assured my 'paperwork was in the back' and I would be called back shortly. I waited another 15 minutes, now 45 minutes past my appointment time. As a staff person came to the lobby to call back patients I asked for confirmation that my paperwork was indeed "in the back" since others who arrived after me with later appointment times were being called back. The staff person was rude, dismissive and refused to 1) acknowledge I was standing directly in front of her, 2) speaking directly to her, 3) verify if my paperwork was in the back. The only way of identifying her would be the one who was literally yelling at patients and wearing long, acrylic, orange nails. (healthcare workers aren't supposed to wear acrylic nails or gel polish) I was left standing without any resolution or answers to my questions or concerns. Another patient in the lobby also expressed frustration to me about the unreasonably long wait time and the rude behavior of staff, I commented that I was dissatisfied with the professionalism of the staff. The 'site coordinator', sitting behind the front desk, overheard our brief interaction and made a comment to another patient at the front desk about "rude people" who were "impatient". At this point, I realized I would not be able to get any resolution by attempting to directly address my concerns with staff. At 11:05 I was finally called back for my 10:15 appointment. The phlebotomist realized I was NOT REGISTERED, and was not in the queue for my lab work. The phlebotomist registered me, took my copay and drew my blood. She was the only one who was remotely decent or professional. As a healthcare professional myself with nearly a decade working in an acute care setting, I'm well aware of the demands on healthcare workers, however, the behavior of the labcorp employees in Yucca Valley is appalling and completely unacceptable. I will never return to this location and will share my experience with my healthcare co-workers, patient and providers. Every single staff person there needs a real lesson in professionalism and basic human respect and decency. read more

I work for an insurance company and do some phlebotomy for our clients that can't physically get to a lab. I have never walked out of this place feeling like staff was polite. Everyone there seems unhappy. The front desk doesn't even greet me when I come in. I will not use this lab for myself or my family. Train your people to make eye contact, smile, and say hello. If they had done any one of those today I would not be writing this review. BTW, no one was in line when I went in there at 2 pm. You can thank Anita for this review. read more

Today i had to race to get to the lab cus i am very busy and its very hard for me to get there before 3pm. It is VERY unprofessional to CLOSE EARLY!! It is already a pain in the rear to get there before that time, they need to be open til 4pm like they used to be! I got there four minutes before 3pm and they were already closed! i was soooo angry! I know it was the last few minutes, but they still should have been open. Open hours means open hours, not close when you feel like it! Now i have to spend ten more bucks in gas to go back and i have to reschedule an appt i had for the next day, so that i can get my lab done in time for another doctors appt that ordered the labs. You cant just close whenever you feel like it. Its not the customers fault if you are tired and want to make sure no one else gets in your door BEFORE YOU CLOSE! IM VERY ANGRY! What a pain! some of the people working there are pretty nice and can draw blood very well, while others, not so much. Im disappointed that it is the only lab around that i can go to! ugh! read more
